I won tickets from a radio morning show in Boise ID to see Petty and The Heartbreakers on their final tour. Hands down one of the best live shows I've seen. This is seriously slinky. I'm loving it! Keep rockin' Larkin Poe!
I didn't know Steve Ferrone had played with Tom Petty, but I heard him a lot when he played in the Average White Band, one of the best funk / soul bands of the 70s. Play that funk music white girls ... too.
This is awesome! I was a huge TPH fan as well, and I had an incredible connection to him and his music, seeing them in my hometown Chicago, and traveling across the country on my motorcycle once playing the Hypnotic Eye cd on repeat to see him at Fenway Park, and forever gratefully and sadly on the final tour a road trip that turned tragic to no end to Red Rocks, it was a Breakdown of epic proportions, a spiritual gathering at Milwaukee, when he sang ‘Hey, don’t come around here no more’ and I was lost until the final time I saw Tom Petty play from the dugout at Wrigley, she was an American Girl. I am incredibly lucky, thank you Tom Petty! ❤️🙏🏻 Larkin Poe, you stepped into my life at Martyrs in Chicago by accident in my storyline after all those Tom Petty experiences that I had very close to my heart and pain at the time, I am forever grateful for that emotional music experience with You for the first time, and how incredible that was for my Soul. Music is so important to my life and I’m so glad to share this. I am so happy for the band, it’s been fun to enjoy the ride with you and the music 🙏🏻❤️ God Bless You and Everyone
