What would you add to the list?!
GlenAllachie 12
Bruichladdich The Classic Laddie
Deanston 10 Bordeaux
Bunnahabhain 12 should be also in that price range right?
Glenlivit Illicit Still / Licensed Dram
Laphroig 10
Ardbeg Wee Beastie
Bunnahabhain 12
Deanston 12
Awesome list, only one that I would add is Craigellachie 13.
@@IRamOne_w Oh yes, how could I have overlooked that one! Great suggestion!
Would love to see more price point videos 👌
Such as $100-$150 and $150-$200
🧞♂️ Your wish is my command! Great idea, will add to the production schedule!
Love it Wade! This could’ve easily been a Top 10. I have ALL the ones you’ve mentioned. My list would’ve been:
5. Talisker 10
4. Ardbeg 10
3. PC 10
2. Arran 10
1. Bunna 12
Great list Ashy! PC10 and Bunna 12 are lovely drams
Spot on Wade, great list, and all very accessible
Thanks Wayne 🙏
Great 5 list. My list will bit a bit different. In no special order....Kilkerran 12, Deanston 12, Kilchoman Sanaig, Bunnahabhain 12, Edradour 12 Caledonia. Around the same price limit in Sweden. Cheers
You have better prices in Sweden than we do my friend! All of those are about $120 and up here
Nice picks, Wade. Can't argue with a single one of them! 🥃
Appreciate that coming from the king of whisky lists! 👑🥃🙌
Awesome list!!
Thanks Nixon, appreciate you checking it out and leaving a comment 😊
Good choice Wade ! I like all this whisky ))) Slainte !
Thank you my friend, me too!! 🥃
Great selection.
Glad you think so!
Hi wade
I agree with you, but for me the talisker 10year old is garbage, but that is just me,some of your pics like the ledaig 10year old I haven't had, but I have a bottle of the ledaig 18year old from 3 year's ago, but have yet to open it,I will be giving it a try soon because I have had it a long time, and I payed a fortune for it, love your reviews and always watch all of them, cheers my friend !!!
Thank you for the love Frankie, Ledaig 18 is a great whisky mate, hope you enjoy it!!
Nice list, all of them are easy to find at a good price all around the world
Thanks mate, that was my goal so glad it hit the mark for you!
Great list Wade, all good malts, another good five malts are PC 10, Bunnha 12, craigellachie 13 , Benromach 10 and Arran QC . Especially the Arran QC , at around €40 here in Germany it’s a must,an excellent CS bourbon matured malt. Good video. List videos are certainly interesting. Slàinte Wade
Would love a dram of any of those 5 any day of the week 🥃
Wade top list buddy, all solid accessible bottles which shows how it is done. I would also say Laphroaig Quarter Cask but that may have shot up in price lately. Cheers!
Thanks mate, was trying to make it a list of accessible whiskies for all so appreciate that comment! The Laphroaig Quarter Cask can be found here for $110 if you know where to look, but mainly it retails at $140 - $150 here now 😳
Great list mate, all of these are good bar staples. In this price range I’d include the Edradour 10 and even the Aberfeldy 12.
Good additions
Really nice review! I look forward to other WTF lists. For me I would add the Bunnahabhain Stiuireadair, or for a little more coin, the Bunnahabhain 12. I would also include the Glenglassaugh Torfa, but it is now hard to get as it has been discontinued. A real shame. Another choice is the Glendronach 12. My final choice is the Glenallachie 12. All of these I have thoroughly
enjoyed.
There is still quite a bit of Torfa floating round here and typically cheaper than everything else on this list, but I have never tried it. Good suggestions Jim!
In UK now: Talisker 10 £30 Glencadam 10 £37 Arran 10 £40 Ardbeg 10 £40 Ledaig 10 £40 so absolute bargain. All 5 fantastic Drams Wade. Good list. Must have for every Whisky enthusiast. Slàinte M8 👍😁🥂🙋🏻♂️
Thank you mate! And thank you for sharing the UK pricing for context too 🥃🙌
Hi Wade, this is a good format as i often find myself going through the same exercise when shopping online at a green colored e-store. I picked up Glencadam 10, but unfortunately stuck with Glengoyne Legacy. Such a list will be helpful. Compass Box Hedonism was another one that i picked up at what i think is a great price, but it wouldn't be on this list. Cheers
Hey mate, are you saying you ordered a Glencadam 10 and they sent you a Glengoyne Legacy?
@@McIntyresMalts oh no. I meant to say I bought Glencadam 10 and Glengoyne Legacy. I think the Glencadam should be a decent dram, so far the reviews for the Legacy have not been great. So kind of stuck with it.
@@vktay3198 Ah right, I'm with you now. Maybe you might like it more than what others have thought of it 🤷♂
@@McIntyresMalts I hope so. But your recommendations for Bunna12, Glencadam 15, Archie Rose Rye have been spot on. Thanks Mate!
Finally tried glencadam ten, dans have it on special and was unimpressed, not sure if it’s a bad batch but I was expecting a fruit bomb from all the reviews and it really is not. The 2022 graigellachie 13 is my pick excellent batch.
Ah I'm sorry to hear you didn't have the experience you were hoping for with the Glencadam 10 my friend, glad you enjoyed the Craigellachie 13 though! I could have definitely had that one on the list 🥃
Great video Wade. It puts perspective on how much people are paying in different parts of the world. Cheers
Thanks DonnerPass, yeah some MASSIVE variations for sure!
I'm a sucker for rankings and enjoy your content... sounds like a win-win to me 😎👍
Thank you Benny, glad it hit the mark for you 🥃
Just subbed mate!!! Sydney in da house!!!🥃
I been watching a few of your vids the wtf are short and sweet!!!!
Just ordered my arran10 and Glencadam 10 on the Black Friday sales!!!
As I had a bottle of glencadam 15 and that was a Rippa taste loved it!!!!
P.s sorry I’m a sherry bomb sweet guy!!! 😊✌🏻
Thanks for the sub brother, glad to have Sydney represented 🙌
Some epic deals at the moment hey?!
@@McIntyresMalts yeh great deals!!! Get em while we can hey!!! ✌🏻
100 australian dollars = +/- €60. The whiskies you mention are in my market +/- €40-€50.
My five whiskies in this price class (€40-€50 would be:
-Lagavulin 8 (on offer it could be €50). I know you once 'denied' this whisky, but I think it is really good. Especially with some drops of water. It is very floral and tastes like a wet stone (this taste description is from a friend of mine)
- Ardbeg 10
- A cask strength expression of Arran such as the Amarone Cask
- Clynelish 14 (in some shops you can get it for €46)
- Bunnahabhain 12
Whiskies I havent had, which could be interesting
-Glencadam 10
- Deanston 12
- Cask Strength expressions of Arran
- Laphroaig quarter cask
- Maclean's nose
Man you get some great prices! Those are some very nice choices 👌
You would have to have Bunna 12yo, Craigallachie 13yo, Deanston 12yo, Ardnamurchan AD, and Arran Quarter Cask as a solid 5 honourable mentions - so many good whiskies out there at $90-140 you really are spoilt for choice.
Loads of great whiskies between $100 and $150, it was actually harder than I thought to keep them close to $100 with the prices here.
Dont mind the Glencadam 10 and Dans has it on special at the moment for $76
Yeah an AMAZING price for it, but they don't have any available in Brisbane where I am 😭
@@McIntyresMalts Im on the Gold Coast and there is a few stores that still have stock down here.
@@troyconnolly907 Mermaid waters usually has everything! Dans won't show me because GC is more than 50ks from me. Thanks for the heads up mate!
@@McIntyresMalts yeh that is the best one on the Coast.
Hah great name for the lists 😃🥃
Thanks mate, felt pretty proud of it 😁
what would be a good PX cask whisky under $ 300 ?
My friend, loads of great choices with a budget like that! I am going to assume you are talking Australian dollars here.
If you like smoke and sweet sherry combo (like I do 😊) Then you can't go past a Kilchoman PX Cask, or the Laphroaig PX.
If you want to avoid the peat you could try Bladnoch 19 Year Old PX Sherry Cask within your budget too.
Australian whisky distillery Waubs Harbour also has a nice PX cask release at 51% ABV too if you are based here where I am.
Or even the Redbreast PX edition in an Irish whiskey
Then there are a lot of whiskies that also have a PX influence combined with Oloroso casks, but I have stuck to recommendation for PX casks only.
Hope this helps 🥃
@@McIntyresMalts hello, thanks for the response. yeah not a " peat head" lol and im a gringo in Colombia, the selection of whisky here is pretty bad, 90% i have to order and ship down here...p.s. love the year reviews where you show the 100 plus whiskies you tied through the year...
@@aaabbbccc543 Thank you my friend! It's a lot of fin "preparing" for those videos during the year 😉
How about glenmorangie 14 sir?
A nice whisky for sure, but about $130 in my market so a little to pricey for this list
thank you sir
Glenmorangie 10, Bunna 12, GlenAllachie 12, Auchentoshan, Aultmore 12, Glen Turret 12
Good choices too! A few over $100 in my market unfortunately 😢
Wade do your WTF Peated whiskies, and then sherry whiskies
Oh yeah, going to have some fun doing those ones!! Time to get the camera out ;)
