- FlyWire Ferries a T-34 Mentor, A Pilot Training Airplane for the Navy and USAF, to Mesquite, Texas. Come along for the ride!
FlyWire is about exploring flight and the freedom this incredible experience brings us on a personal level. Flying has always captured the imagination and excitement of living life to its fullest. Hi, I'm Scott Perdue. In a former life I flew the F-4 and F-15E, more recently I retired from a major airline. I've written for several aviation magazines over the years, was a consultant for RAND, the USAF, Navy, NASA as well as few others, wrote a military thriller- 'Pale Moon Rising' (still on Kindle). But mostly I like flying, or teaching flying. Some of the most fun I had was with Tom Gresham on a TV show called 'Wings to Adventure". We flew lots of different airplanes all over the country. Now with FlyWire I want to showcase the fun in flying, share the joy and freedom of flight and explore the world with you. Make sure you subscribe if you want to go along for the ride!

Nice flight. Beautiful day. Thank you for sharing.
Scott, look at those perfect kim trails in the sky behind you of your primary photo. Undeniable.
Enjoyed the ride along even with the trails.
My first flight lessons were in a T-34 courtesy of the United States Air Force in 1959.
Love flying the T-34. Hell, it's a Beechcraft.
My dad flew a T-34 red, white and blue livery. He passed away after an accident at an air show he was performing at in the late 80's. RIP Gary!
Such a neat bird
What a beautiful aircraft! Had the opportunity to fly one with the Navy Flying Club at NAS Agana, Guam in about 1976. Thanks for the latest ride Scott!
T- 34 is a nice looking plane ! Fun ? Sold ? Info would be good . Interesting huh ?
Great flight ! Thank you Scott , Loved you sharing different aircraft with all of us !
Thanks for the ride; really nice!
Does the owner send you back home commercial? How does that kind of thing work?
That is a neat looking plane. But you already know that.
As always beautiful video, music is spot on. You make flying look so easy! Thanks.
Thanks for the ride Scott. The T34 is a cool airplane. Must be fun to fly.
Be better without the music background.
I was member of Albrook Air Force Base. We had an Air Force T34 available for rent by club members. I flew in it a few times with our club mechanic. He was fully certified in the T34 including aerobatics. We flew upside down a few times.
My father loves that airplane. He used to rent them at the aero club at Stewart AFB in the early 60s. Nice video, sir.
Love your videos! Although I would have loved to see the T34 in more detail!
Next time!
Hate those towers at Cedar Hill.
LOTS-O-FUN!!!
Cool
What was that very tall tower passing off the starboard wing when you inbound for landing?
Cedar Hill south of Dallas... there are a mess of those tall towers there.
I like your "fully loaded" hangar Scott! And what flying community is that?
Giulio- Bourland Field, Southwest of Fort Worth, Texas
The T-34 is the dream. I fell in love with that airplane when I went to AFM-P school in the Navy. It was basically intro to ground ops for enlisted aviation rates and we learned plane directly with a T-34.
Of course, If I was ever able to get one it would have to be a Bravo
I love it too! Would prefer a T-34A.
@@FlyWirescottperdue Well yeah, you're Air Force. The Alpha would be you're 34 of choice. Us Navy guys will always go for the Bravo. ;) ;) ;)
@@JustaPilot1 True!
Excellent video. Would prefer without the music. The flight sounds are the real music.
Shame you have to fly out of that community with all those shacks around the runway.
