Shetland's Fire Festival Season

- A unique series of spectacular fire festivals takes place in Shetland each year between January and March. Inspired by the islands’ Norse heritage, the festivals bring communities across the islands together for a night of guizing (dressing up), torchlit processions, feasting, and dancing the night away. You too can experience the drama, the fun, the enjoyment, the atmosphere, and the tradition.

I wanna visit Shetland so bad, one of my pending places to visit definitely. Absolutetly enchanted with the Fire Festival!
Would love to see this
Are any more of the fire festivals going to be shown live here? I live on the other side of the world in Alaska and have Danish / Norwegian heritage, I would love to see a few of these with my daughter. I did notice the one broadcasted two weeks ago. Just found this channel.
SMUHA (South Mainland Up Helly Aa) will be streamed live on 10 Mar 2023.
@@johnhunter7108 South Mainland Up Helly Aa Postponed until March 24th because of snow.
Is that Steven Robertson narrating?
Sounds like him.
Yes it is.
@@sarahhunter5757 thought so. Thank you.
