At the end of my life I will say, that Mark King was my absolutely favourite musician
Me too ❤

Yep. Smashing Fella, the right amount of jokey blokeishness and an absolute sublime musician.
Absolutely love the rawness of it. Heathrow is obscenely close to the studio track and Phil's drumming is sublime.
They are a really good live band, great bit of early footage of them.
I was shocked to see Level 42 played in Alabama back 1982 !!!!! Then googled it to find out that it is a venue in Germany, makes sense now.... LOL
Thanks for the archive . Those tight jazz-funk grooves are great . Can't blame the Gould bros for leaving when Mark sold his soul for the $ .
Saw original level42 about 12 times , brilliant👍
How great were they I thought it then and still think it now Brit funk at its finest
Brillante pensiero. Grazie👏👏👏🤗
I will ever love this band and this musicans! And "Dune Tune" is one of their best instrumentals ever...
First goosebumps this year, that solo from Boon at the end and the fantastic drums of Phil
I missed all this growing up. So much energy
Level 42... still the one.
I don't think anyone shreds a bass like Mark King while keeping up such a second drummers tempo.
OMG PHIL IS KILLING IT!! 👌👌👌
Phil gould had the best sound ..loved the tunning of his kit ....tasty. also boons playing on dune tune fits so well..best
Timeless Level 42 classics
Mark King in his 20s 😍😍😋😋
cheers for the upload !!
Brilliant
I was what the heck was level 42 giving a concert in Alabama back in 1982!!! but that's Alabama Halle in Munich, Germany,
Mega! Vielen Dank 🙏 🙏🙏🙋🏼♂️
Thank god that moustache went!
Alan Murphy was the nearest and greatest to boon
Jesus, thanks for this... using a JD bass too.... brings back memories of great bass and bad hair and fashion :)
Mike's singing has much improved since those days...
Turn et on lol
Best Heathrow
You're hearing Phil's vocals, which were shit. Haha. Mike's vocals are mixed really low in this.

😊😊
This drummer looks like those Karate Kid boys 😂
1982 ...la messe est dite ... y feront pas mieux !!!
Mike Lindup could rock that Dashiki.
What did he say...translate please
Well, there was actually a slur in it wherein he referred to King's playing with " negro thumbs". Sometimes it's better to not know German.
If you only would know what the presentor said… cant say that stuff nowadays😅
Just like Alabama
haha ya i heard that too
Играют отлично, но лучше бы они только играли!
