Favorite game in years. It’s incredible. Soooo cinematic I love it. Most fun way to play from the start is to ignore the first two story missions for a couple hours and just unlock what you can and improve your technique with combat without learning ghost skills yet, especially on hard mode. So much fun. The mythic quests are incredible each feels like a movie or at least episode of television, and the side quests are so much fun. Some tips that some people can find useful: use the R2 button to slow down time during combat, doing that can give you a few precious seconds to think for a quick strategy while being surrounded by enemies. I also found useful dodging and pulling the quick bow while pressing R3 to slow down time, allowing you to headshot tougher enemies or wild animals. Some enemies are armored, you can do the same with the long bow which has heavy arrow that can pierce through armor. Hope that helps a few people!!
You can also honor fallen Samurai Soldiers and slaughtered civilians by standing in front of the body and swiping down on the Touch Pad (Bowing), he also speaks to them and says something!!! Really cool feature if you ask me.
Not sure how fear works, but I encountered 10 Mongols at once. Stunned, assasinated with help of smoke, set a few on fire, and counter killed 1 all in a quick time for the 10th Mongol being a brute tossing his weapon and running away.

14 things ghost of Tsushima doesn’t tell you. 1- Deer are sacred. Do not kill them because they drop nothing. 2- Deer will run from combat letting you know if enemies are over a hill or near an area. 3- when in a standoff, watch enemies feet. They take a step when they initiate an actual attack. 4- enemies with helmets cannot be headshot (ever) although a body shot on an unaware enemy can one shot with an upgraded half bow, and longbow for commanders. 5- an archer with your level or lower will always be one shot anywhere with a scaled or maxed bow. 6- jump attacks do double damage when they connect. 7- jump kicks open an enemy for a light for direct damage, or a guaranteed heavy for stager opening. 8- jumping cancels the sheathing animation. 9- Pressing L1 is a feint and cancels all attack animations. 10- a feint guarantees a perfect parry if you feint while being attack by an enemy from behind or to your sides while fighting someone else. 11- the heavenly strike can be activated from a failed/ wiffed parry for an instant attack and dodge if you are about to be hit. 12- you can switch stances mid attack and feint to do a high speed counter attack. 13- Stances can be switch mid combo to chain combos while switching targets for some flashy and epic combat animations. 14- all stances have a heavy and light attack pattern that creates a fast never ending combo that can’t be dodged. (Stun-lock effective in duals/bosses) Bonus- you can hold attacks then let them fly and then feint to do a fast counter against an enemy who is trying to attack while you are holding your attack.

6:25 mizo no kami
7:01 charm of amaterasu
7:27 outfit
This game is outstanding on the ps5
Stay a while and listen!
I don‘t get it with the parrying.. For some reason I don‘t get the timing down
It can be pretty tricky, but just takes practice. I had the same issue with Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order which has a very similar parry system. Once you get it right though it feels so damn good!
I swear this vid is literally everything the random ai tell u about
Parry On My Wayward Son
Things the game doesn't tell you if you don't read anything the game says
if years of gaming has taught you to upgrade/get collectibles last, stop gaming....
Got through 4 and left, everything said was nothing new and is explain in game
No it is not... I’ve played the first 10 seconds of it and the game hasn’t told me about any of this
If like me starting on hard perm mode only way button registers to slow on high gx mode on pro. gfx mode so nice but on hard it screws u up enough.
I have no problems with it, no lag or screw ups in combat and I’m on hard. Change to better frame rate then
Yeah great game but no lock on the enemy
it’s there but it’s kinda hidden like the bowing and sword sheathing...when you put up your guard it will front face you with an enemy it’s subtle but it’s there...i kill em sheath my saword’ bow out of respect then play a beat as i dip...love the loop on this game
An honorable samurai doesn't need such things.
Artemis I like that
The Art School Rejects yeah I’ve notice that but you just have to be moving the angle of the camera you have to be moving it with the samurai but I’m already use to it, satisfying combat
There's an option in the menu to turn on enemy lock
I’m pretty sure the developers fucking told us all of these things already. -_-😂 And Im pretty sure the game tells you about the fucking stances.
I am picking this game up from Best Buy rn, I got the special edition
So this game has question marks we need to follow in order to seek out stuff? That sucks..that was part of the reason the witcher 3 felt like a chore to me.. dammit..now i dont know this is worth buying
What If they left this stuff out because things like RUclips are changing the way games are enjoyed and they knew videos like this would be made🤔
They didn't leave any of this stuff out NPC's literally tell you almost everything in the video and the game gives you detailed hints
Everything you said here IS told to you in the game.
Guys make a tips guide with actually not showing what is being said. Stances? Not unlocked. Block arrows? Shows unyielding sword parry. I mean the narrator is great, but the game play does not demonstrate on what is being said.
my mistake is i run thru battles, i need to take my time in battle.
A.D.D.
Does "doesn't tell you" mean something else in English?
“Doesn’t tell you” is an old English proverb that means “it totally tells you but we need to make money with pointless RUclips videos”
the game tells you all of it -.-
Alright
