As a retired Airman, who served in Desert Storm...I'm VERY impressed and pleased with the Airmen of the United States Air Force Special Operations Command!! Joining The U.S. Air Force back in 1985 was the best decision I ever made in my life!! Due to my Air Force training and skill set, I have been working as a federal agent for the US government!! Thanks Air Force!! HOOAH!

More people need to know about Air Force Special Operations and the professional level to which they perform!! Everyone has heard of Navy SEALS...but Air Force Special Ops are those that don't care if Hollywood makes a movie about them!! They are Silent professionals!!

In the past week I have given up so many things to try to be better equipped physically and mentally for the Air Force to prove to myself that I can do it and make my family proud I won’t stop until I succeed. I've only met one man that was on special warfare for the USAF and he was an amazing individual! Growing up by an AFB, I was always in awe of the air force (we had b25 for a while, now it's a refuling wing, mainly).
I really should have joined when I was young enough. I couldn't have been Special Warfare (I told the SERE instructor at the local AFB that "it was always wanted to die in SERE school." 😄 that's not about the program but my lack of physical fitness require to pass) ....I'm not delusional.... but it would have helped make me a better person, I bet.
now, I'm at the "Sir, can you please stand out of our way so we can work" age, soooo.... best I don't join the military now.
......maybe I should join the Opps military and make myself their problem? 🤣

Don’t be fooled people. Enlisted TACPs only drive and maintain the vehicle and radios for the officer Forward Air Controllers who actually do all the technical work. Granted the TACPs learn how to do it as a backup only.

Additionally, JTACs have absolute control of all air assets once they arrive in a designated conflict zone where CAS has been requested by the GC. Even if an aircraft is FACA certified, they can be told to leave or just sit and do nothing by the single TACP JTAC on the ground.

@@USAirForceRecruiting hey Ray. I’m already pretty close on your initial requirements, BUT I understand this initial part is just to weed out those that can’t meet bare minimum requirements. I would like to change my workout routine, for about a year, so I can make myself stronger, and recondition my body to a flak. Over all aiming to improve my rucking, and ESPECIALLY my swimming since I haven’t been in the water in a while.. thank you for the reply 🤙🏽 I would like PJ, but I can’t lie, the one man attachment part for CCT sounds SICK AS HELL… and I’d rather not do TACP.. I could be wrong but it gives me JTAC vibes, which, funny story, I did get named MVP over E6-E9s as en E-2 in a JTAC class because of the knowledge my E-4 senior gave me.. 🤷🏽‍♂️😂
