I'd really like to see y'all come out with a good reading list. One for SW in general and then some that are AFSC specific to help guys be "subject matter enthusiasts"
Also don't knock sipping the water during underwaters 😅 it's what helped a ton when I was gupping and got me through indoc

Without actually saying so it seems SPECWAR is looking for balanced people. Those who see not only the immediate but the long term.
Those who can do their best every time under every circumstance.
    It doesn’t mean being perfect

How long are the wait times between steps in the pipeline? I’ve heard that after graduating basic you have until the following Monday usually. But is that sort of the standard for the rest of the training courses?

In a perfect world, you’d graduate every course on Friday and start the next one on the following Monday, but unfortunately that’s not always the case. Sometimes you can wait weeks or months for a class or school, although longer wait times are usually avoided.

What weight should a potential candidate be rucking, time and distance?

    • @OnesReady

Can you help me understand your question? What career field? For what result? There is not (currently) a timed ruck requirement; you ruck will weigh anywhere between 20-80 lbs during the pipelines, and you’ll be expected to ruck from short distance to unknown distance. Other than lower leg conditioning and acclimatizing to rucking in general, we usually don’t recommend a ton of rucking for the career fields prior to enlisting.
