Where to Find Highland Cows in Scotland // Kitchen Coos & Ewes // Dumfries & Galloway

A highland cow safari nestled in the remote countryside of Dumfries and Galloway at Kitchen Coos and Ewes! Get up close to the beautiful heard, taking a tractor and trailer ride up onto the hill to say hello and learn all about the coos, including Sorcha, Shona, Eve and Bobbi. You also learn about other areas of the farm and rural life in South West Scotland. The tour ends back at the farm house for a lovely afternoon tea, with the biggest cup of tea and the best Coo shaped shortbread!
We went on the Insta Coo Tour but there is also the Wee Coo Tour, Cream Tea Coo Tour, Walking Tour and Haute Coo Tour.
At the Visit Scotland Thistle Awards, Kitchen Coos & Ewes won Best Outdoor or Adventure Experience.
