Actually some of the old masters within flytying did wrap the thread the same way, flytyers like Frederic M. Halford and Oliver Edwards were known to wrap the thread backwards🧐 but in the end I guess the fish dont care that much... 😉

There no right or wrong in fly tying, that's the beauty of it , the fly works a treat and it doesn't fall apart either.
