I just got a 2019 Polo Beats. The driver Assistance is not welcome!! It’s a nice car spoilt by unnecessary tech. Your info on secret compartments is helpful. The CD player slot is fantastic news as I love my 1000 cd’s! Bluetooth connection to a mobile streaming music is great too. I bought it for the sound system! I’ve six other cars so won’t use this to go supermarket shopping as the front assist will shut the car down in the car park if other cars are nearby and moving! It’s a dangerous feature. I’ve succeeded in getting the fuel consumption down to 26mpg. On Shell VMax high octane petrol is goes pretty good! I’ve yet to see more than 37mpg driving slowly. I think the VW mpg figures of 54mpg or more are dreams! To avoid the irritating lane assist & Driver Front Assist these need to be disabled when in situations where they might activate! Or just use a car with none of this stuff fitted! If I’ve had known about the Driver Assistance fitted prior to purchase, I definitely would not have bought this car.

Did you add any extras to yours? I have the exact same model (but from 2018) and I’m Just about to put an order in for my second beats. I’m super sad though because I’m really gonna miss the paint colour & the red trim which isn’t an option anymore 🥺
Boot space is really good for getting my Xmas presents, Xbox Series X please, loads of Tiny Rebel beer, Paul Smith T-shirt and scarf, and a BMW competition M8. No need to wrap the the M8. Ta.
The CD player slot is in the glove box and not really noticeable. The huge instruction book isn’t very CD useful. Trial & error is needed. We managed to use bluetooth connectivity to make the sound system play RUclips downloads and the sound quality improves a lot doing that. The sound system takes a bit of working out. In the DAB station list hit on SDL National to reveal more stations you’ll be pleased to find like Jazz FM, Planet Rock
You need a St Christopher Medal - he’s the patron St. for safe travels in a car. Love your car...this episode reminded me of “Top Gear.” I kept waiting for you to drive like those crazy guys. Glad you didn’t!

Father I think you should lower your expectations maybe a Sega Dreamcast and if you’re lucky a PS1 with a can of fosters!
What’s the sound system like and does it have a CD player built in?
The beats audio system is very good if you like base ( I do) and yes it does have a CD player in the glove compartment but I have not used it :)
