ABSOLUTE CINEMA
The best movie I have seen in a long time. It has an actual story, post war trauma, that is beautifully portrayed by the actors. A wholesome, quality film. Thank you, Japan! More, please!
Ryunosuke absolutely killed it as Koichi. I watched it 5 times in theaters and teared up several times with each watch.

I was able to see Godzilla Minus One 3 times in Michigan in December 2023. Twice in IMAX once in the normal theater. Congratulations to everyone involved in the making of this movie. You made one of my favorite movies of all time. Great job!

The action, suspense, soundtrack, effects, characters, emotions and trauma in the film are so breathtaking 😱🤯. Guys, you can't miss it in the cinema, it's so great. We had these seats that vibrate and shake, it was so great, better than IMAX feature 👌
Ohmygoodness, just watched 'Godzilla Minus One' and thinking the lead actor looked rather familiar, isn't he, wait...isn't he....?! YES! It's Ryunosuke Kamiki who was the voice actor for 'Spirited Away' (he was Boh!) and 'Howl's Moving Castle (he was Markl!). I remember watching him in the behind the scenes making of 'Spirited Away' and 'Howl's Moving Castle' where he was around 9 to 11 years old then!! I feel so old now 😅

Wow, contrast this to the entitled, bratty attitudes of American actors who bash the culture and source material, then blame fans when a project fails. A cast who is honored to have earned their role and respects the culture and relevance of the prior films… we could learn something
He was a famous child actor too. Definitely hard to find a non entitled one in Hollywood.
