Erin’s journey is the main thing on this channel right now. It’s genuinely so interesting watching her learn because then Aman gives her tips which people like me watching can learn from.
you should definitely do more learner videos like erin from the first lesson. i just think its so much easier to learn more from a beginner like Erins journey😁
Recently started driving again after almost 3 years of having my license and I’ve been learning so much from here, thanks again! 😭🥰 and I do struggle with roundabouts so this was really helpful!
I have passed first time with only 4 minors. I have watched your videos everyday up until the day of my test. It really gave me a good perspective on not only how to perform well but also how to prioritise safety on the road. Thank you for all your helpful tips and advice, couldn’t have passed without it.
I'm doing my lessons just now and just started mock tests and roundabouts are definitely my kryptonite. I struggle with them and have made lots of mistakes on them. Erin we got this 💪🏻
Well done Erin. You drove very well, really nice work 😁 Aman your such a superb driving instructor, very supportive, calm and patience as always 😊 Keep up with the fantastic teaching to Erin and the rest of the other beginner drivers 🙂
Thank you for your helpful tips and educational content. I have passed my driving practical today and surely used what I've learned from you. I will continue to watch to keep my driving at good standards.
You're coming on great Erin, see you can do it! You're getting the big bits right and the wee extra bits that go with the big bits are coming on too. I'm looking forward to seeing your parallel park, now don't tell anybody, keep this to yourself, I'm rubbish at it!!
I swear guys!...yous two are just pure gold! If it was up to me I would just give Erin her licence right now and make Aman the greatest ADI in the UK! Erin my hand wen't up just like yours @ 13:00! This is something that experienced drivers do! you are going to do just fine! These roundabouts are 5/5 on the serious scale and im well impressed at the way you are coping with them. ( I also agree that the road markings should be displayed further back as someone that is unfimilar with the area has a better chance at getting their lane earlier) Thankyou Aman for sharing these incredible videos with us and your editing is truely on point! P.S. i'm gona guess yous were looking at a PEACOCK?.........? at the end.
I've passed my driving test at my 1st attempt with 2 minors this afternoon. I was so incredibly stressed but for the last week I've been reviewing all your videos constantly and they really helped. So although we've never met - thank you 😁
My lessons got interrupted by covid so I only had a few and haven’t got back into it, but this is much better than any instruction I ever had! Your students are lucky to have you!
This lesson is so informative and helpful, it helps me with my confidence and I remember that instruction you are telling and explaining Erin about roundabouts when i did my lesson this morning. Thank you so much for you videos ❤❤❤
Erin's, good smoothed driving, #roundabouts #drivinginstructor#howtodrive. Good, observation to roundabout, mirrors check, exit to new road. She's pretty good with roundabouts. Keep on the good work.
Man your videos are just so amazing and soothing. I'm a fairly experienced driver but now whenever I drive to office I'm always like I gotta follow your instructions or I'll get a minor or serious mistake😂😂 Anyways, you're an amazing instructor and I feel that your students feel really comfortable when driving with you, you're doing an amazing job with them. I really wish I could give a mock test with you lol But being an Indian driver, I bet I would fail😂 Love from India❤
A very interesting and informative lesson. I passed my test 50 years ago but I still tend to wander a bit on roundabouts and often end up in the wrong lane; this video has helped me a lot. Does the Satnav not act as a bit of a distraction to a learner though? Just something that occurred to me whilst watching this - I'd hate it but I suppose that young people are more used to screens than me! I'd feel very safe having Erin in the driving seat and I like the way that she takes any positive criticism in the right spirit.
this video is very helpful for me living in Birmingham, the amount of roundabouts here is crazy, you will find roughly 4-5 mini ones on a straight road and big ones everywhere too, its nightmare
Hitting that many roundabouts in a row is pretty hard going... it gets to a point of snow blindness as all your feeling is being thrown to the left of the car as you're going around and around and around. Should have had a mini break to do some parking or such. I hate that Greenford roundabout and getting onto the A40 from that... Just a nightmare all the time. So glad they updated the road markings at least.
Erin is not listening to what the instructor is saying to her she keeps on saying (YES YES) BUT SHE IS NOT LISTENING. To the driving instructor, PLEASE (ERIN) LISTEN.❤
Coz shes a spoiled brat. Shes never worked a day in her life of solid labour. U just know her parents have funded her to take an infinite amount of lessons to pass
16:30 thank you for the explanation! I have no idea what’s those diagrams means tbh (I mean thick lane /small lane) 🙈 would you make a video about them Aman?
The thinker lines are main through roads, the slim line ending in a blank is normally a slip road with a dead end, may be a shop or industrial complex.
There are rarely any roundabouts in the U.S. When I see one, it is always confusing because I don't know who has to yield. Then there are double lane roundabouts.
Hiya, i really like your videos. Thank you for the videos ☺️. I do have a question tho pls. My first name is spelled wrong on my provisional licence and I did my theory test this yr with it too. When I apply for a new provisional licence with the correct spelling, will I have to do my theory test again please? Thank you
maybe for car drivers it’s obvious, but for me it’s always a bit difficult to keep up with what gear the student is in during the video. Would it be possible to edit in a live indicator of the gears? I know it will be more work to have that in the videos but it would help beginners like me who don’t have a clear idea to just be able to see it on the screen at all times.
At the 5:23 mark, why couldn't Erin go left of that line? I know the road markings were for Heathrow, which isn't where she was headed, but it seemed as if she could could've taken the third exit from that lane. Just before she joined that roundabout, the left lane was left turn only, so no one would've gone straight from there (unless they weren't driving properly). It just seemed a bit much that Erin had to cross two lanes in a short space of time just before the third exit.
Hey guys, any idea how long it should take me to learn the roads here (I have 8 years driving experience in Oman- right hand drive). My instructor takes 2 hour classes for £75 and I am not sure if I wana spend alot and just waste my money. Idk does anyone relate?
11:34 this is a nightmare, 4 lanes with no lane markings before or entering a roundabout, then you have to go across the markings to go straight, somehow figure out which lane you need in 0.01sec, and then again cross a few lanes to go out. Ugh ╚(•⌂•)╝
She did a serious mistake as well. At 03:06 she stopped with 2nd gear and move with that. As soon as she realized she changed it to 1st. Whenever she stops she could have shifted to 1st. This you mentioned as serious error in your latest video of that 100 lessons guy.
She didn't stop you muppet, second gear is fine as long as the car is above 4mph. Stop giving advice on stuff you yourself have no idea on @dhinu_diaries
May I ask what is the point of a signal on the slip road? Just because what else would you want to do on a slip road apart from join the main carriageway? There are also no pedestrians who would benefit either, and cars on the road can see the car before the signal anyway?
It may be a help to lorry drivers who have spent 10 hours on the road and are "snowblind" In my day it was always taught to signal no matter what and right lane changes on high speed roads are totally valid. This new driving advice of "only signal when necessary" is bullshit. We always knew bad drivers when they never signal, because arrogant and lazy and now we have drivers worrying about when to signal.
@@wrightwoodwork It is helpful on approach to know the exit number then look at the direction sign and tie that to A40 and or Heathrow as these will be on the floor as you go round and any lane splitting you need to choose the left option on any split. Eventually you exit at the number exit required and in the left lane at that exit.
Because she's doing it the safest way for her. Would you rather someone rush and then be unsafe on the road? You don't get a gold medal on your license for passing quickly.

roundabout gearing:
1st gear if you have to stop or if it is tight/ a mini
2nd gear if it is clear
3rd gear if there are no cars and open
17:04 in regards to this exit. Was exiting into the left hand lane the right thing to do as she crossed lanes ?

How do you know if a roundabout is a spiral roundabout?
Road markings will tend to guide yu left at key points,
Spiral roundabouts have traffic lights😂
@@cactus374not all of them. You can have spiral roundabouts with just Road markings
