Getting the mf02 as your first flashlight would be like someone driving a Lamborghini the first time driving a car
The previous version has a more defined beam and longer throw but the spill on this model makes it more useful for search & rescue

I got this light delivered today,it’s quite a chunky beast and fab,floods and throws great,I would recommend it and ui is simple,only downside i found is putting it in the case all the way so Velcro covers all the way but it does after adjustments,maybe me being picky but well happy.
Ps. Anyone upsets you just throw ya torch at them ...lol

Charles BridgTec Can you recommend batteries and charger for this light?
Protected/not, button top/flat?
@@BlazinBlades Unprotected is recommended. I would use button or slightly raised tops. Efest or MXJO or OEM whenever possible. I recommmend Nitecore chargers like the D4 or i4
Tremendous flashlight BridgTec, I'm currently on the banggood waiting list for my Haikelite MT07S Silver Color, I already paid for it, and it's been a 2 month wait for banggood so far, they said the light was popular and sold out and on back order, they ask me do I want to choose another light and get something else and I thought about changing for this Astrolux, but I went back to see your video again on the MT07S and that baby Lights it up inside 200 yards like no tomorrow, and I'm gonna wait it out on banggoods waiting list for that Silver Beast.

I found MT07S more practical as it has direct access to moonlight and turbo. Mode spacing is better than this one. It has only strobe no SOS or Beacon mode. I got one after watching the vdo on this channel and I am loving it.

@@matt7iron I got the black one cool white 5000lumen and yes I ordered mine soon after watching the vdo. Placed the order on 20th June 2018 and got it on the 26th.

I've had this light for 6 months and I prefer using it to my acebeam x80 as it gives me great short field light and stellar distance lighting.
Astrolux is in my opinion THE best bang for your buck lights out there-incredible quality-if this light had acebeam written on it it would cost $500.

Great video as always. Do you think that this is a suitable upgrade from the original mf02 which probably throws farther with its xhp35 domeless led?

I think the only thing I'll add to that flashlight is being any type of USB rechargeable, very usefull on the go to recharge on vehicles or with a power bank. Maybe we can see that feature added in a future, that;d be killer.

@@CharlesBridgTec I just watched the ft03 video. Looks awesome, but I'm looking for a bit more spill and not quite as much throw. The mf02s may cover that, but it doesnt appear to be usb rechargeable, which isn't the end of the world. I'll watch more videos. Thanks again!

I jus saw in the old video with the mf01 u move the white plastic ring in the battery cartridge so it could used flat top
I removed them so all flat top cells can be used not just a few. Thanks for watching!
Charles BridgTec that why I was asking and u said yes it would work ,but u didn’t say u removed it , now saw that in the video
@@java2894 The other one was not removed for it worked without removing them on the newer models with cartridge verse built in battery carriers. They are totally different.

Hello, may I ask if the color temperature of this flashlight is 6500K or 5000K, if it is compared with K65, who will be brighter and farther??

I noticed this MF02s has more punching power as well a more balanced flooding light. I would go for this soon than the Sofirn.

Charles BridgTec I herd on a google review they said that with flat top u don’t get much power ?
A simple test on the battery cartridge showed no loss using the flat top cells verses the button top cells. You can easily do this test with a voltage meter yourself. Both batteries show when fully charged at 16.8v. Take care.
