Making Mysterio essentially use CGI in universe is a true modern adaptation of the character in a perfect way. And this scene is proof of mysterio’s illusions being a force to be reckoned wirh

Yes. It is like he gives a break for peter from illusion torture lol
I love how it actually fooled me. Usually scenes like this make me go 'How the fuck did you fall for this shit you fuckin dog head?' but this one felt very believable.
This scene shows why he is such a good Spider-man villain and why Spider-Man’s villains are the best. They usually are a problem that Peter has to use his genius to find their weakness. I loved this scene.
But that's the problem with the MCU Spidey. His villians aren't his as much as they're supposed to be his responsibility, they're villians created by Tony and spider Man is just in the way SMH.
@@bigzeezy1733 I mean it's a connected MCU universe they can even make Spiderman movie or guardians movie by captain America old villian it doesn't matter that much to me other than that he was a great villian though
@@bigzeezy1733 I mean most of Spider-Man's villains weren't really related to him in their first apparition, like for example originally Doc Ock suffered accident that connected his metal arms to his body just like in the Raimi movies but he had never met Peter before, and neither had Peter.
Most of the times Spider-Man villains are supposed to be the exact opposite of him, they have the power but zero responsibility, just like Peter was like before Uncle Ben's death, he was only interested in using his powers to gain money and fame, and then what happened happened and he decided to use his powers to help people.

Far From Home's Mysterio, IMO, is one of the best comic-to-film translations for any CBM villain. Some villains are better acted and better written, but the way Marvel was able to seamlessly recreate Mysterio's look, abilities, and motivation in the MCU that's 100% faithful to the comics AND believable in this universe is just so impressive. This entire sequence really showcases this.

@@giggsi1006the best mysterio comics are set in 90's. If tobey's Spidey adapted mysterio, that would be his looks. MCU spiderman is set in 2020, where technology has advanced exponentially. So it makes sense to have mysterio use modern tech

Maybe it's just me but I kinda feel like Mysterio won. Even if his death is legit, he went out with the biggest bang of all. Everything that happens in No Way Home happens because of what Mysterio did. And after seeing how No Way Home ended, it's crazy to think about how Mysterio's actions led to this... This is what makes Mysterio such a cool villain to me. All of his 'attacks' were using illusions to confuse Peter and make him fight against himself. With the exception of maybe punching him a bit in the part with multiple Spider-Mans, most of the fight was making Peter fight the environment around him, to the point where his 'final attack' was just making him walk in front of a train. This scene is so damn badass!!!
This is right up there for me with the final battle with the Green Goblin in the first movie and the train fight in the second movie as being one of the greatest fight scenes in the cinematic history of Spider-Man.
1:11 how my dream reacts to me when my mom is knocking on the door because i overslept in the morning when its school time.
0:45 I really like that moon illusion
That blew my mind that he is wearing a motion capture suit in the movie making it easy for them sometimes
Stuff like this is why Mysterio is a top 3 Spider-Man villain for me. With nothing but illusions, he’s capable of bringing some of the strongest heroes to their knees. Hell, in the Old Man Logan timeline, he was caused the deaths of basically all the X-men
After watching this movie, Mysterio is now my favourite Spider-Man villain!
This felt more "multiversal" than Multiverse of madness itself.
eh
Probably because that much was a pile of shit just above the likes of Thor 2 and the Amazing Spiderman movies.
i loved this scene so much when i first saw the movie
The part where multiple Spider-Men jump out of mirrors surely has to be a reference to the Mysterio fight in the Spider-Man 2 PS2 game.
Oh gosh, Mysterio also used drones in that game and I have fond memories with that game as well.
This scene is pure cinematic art.
