- BASICALLY FREE DIY| USING THRIFTED PICTURE FRAMES | Reuse picture frames for a fresh farmhouse look. I used pictures that I had purchased years ago and gave them a new look and style. The only items I purchased was from Dollar Tree and it was the home wooden sign. So I basically got three new Decor pieces for $1. So before you toss those old frames, consider what you could turn them into, for a fresh new farmhouse look. Please Like comment and share this video

If you put on white wax first ,then the dark you will have more control of the dark.

I like the picture with the horse a lot. I wonder what it would look like if you printed it in black and white or sepia tone.

I didn’t think that paint would adhere to the wax. Did you clean and remove the wax?
I didn’t, I painted over it and waxed it again. So far so good, it hasn’t chipped and is holding up great ❤️
That was my thought as well. It is better to sand off the wax before painting over it.
