Thomashilfen EASyS is a versatile, special needs stroller-style pediatric folding wheelchair with tilt-in-space, used by children with moderate to complex medical and positioning needs. With EASyS you can position a child for independent function or complete rest by reclining the back flat to 180°. This position also solves the dilemma of finding a place when you are out and about for diaper changes. This is especially challenging as children grow. EASyS is crash tested and approved for safety in transportation. EASyS is school bus ready and comes equipped with front and rear tie-down loops.
What makes EASyS different from comparable pediatric wheelchairs starts with a patented tipping prevention function called the Balance Safety System or BSS®. When you recline the back of EASyS the seat slides forward. This prevents the child's weight from shifting backwards, maintaining their center of gravity. The important postural supports like the pelvic belt remain in position and you rest assured of your child's safety.
EASyS reclines from 90° to 180°. You can recline the back and set it at any angle you prefer. The tilt-in-space operates from a lever at the top of the pushing bar allowing you to tilt the seat from -10° to +31°. For children with respiratory needs that require full recline there is no seat quite as comfortable as EASyS. The seat reverses so you can interact with your child while strolling. EASyS folds with or without the seat on, so you get to choose how you want to load it into the car or van.
EASyS comes in two sizes. Each size grows considerably in seat depth and width and back height. The foot rest is also height and angle adjustable allowing for growth in the lower leg. For additional postural support and positioning many accessories can be used with EASyS. The examples we selected to show you are foot straps, lateral trunk supports, padded h-style anterior chest support, 4 point padded hip belt and lateral head supports. Cam buckles are pre-installed making it convenient for you to clip and unclip the belts when moving your child in and out of the chair.
There is a tray and many additional shapes, styles, and sizes of positioning accessories available, depending on your child's needs.
EASyS upholstery is breathable and washable. The fabric is designed to help move heat and moisture away from the child's back, keeping him or her cooler and comfortable. EASyS stylish, non-medical look comes in black with contrasting brightly colored trunk pads. You get to choose the trunk pad color ranging from classic grey to trendy purple and pink.

General accessories for EASyS include sun/rain canopies, umbrella and sleeping bags for weather protection. Medical accessories include a vent tray, IV pole, and oxygen tank holder. These come with clamps so you won't have to look for other hardware to attach them.

Let’s see you take it apart and lift all the parts!!! Exactly you can’t because it’s too heavy and awkward. Not all of us can call a man to do the lifting!!! Do not be fooled by the bs

Total crap. We paid thousands for this mess. Bolts, levers, screws randomly fall out. Literally the back completely fell back as we were eating at a restaurant.
Bs on safety this is a dangerous hot mess.
