Being a hardcore Dark souls3 fan with Musophobia sucks. I purposely have to avoid certain places. In catacombs, I go straight to boss fight from abyss watcher without exploring and hoping that mother rat won't chase me to death. And boy!! they're fast. I skipped 75% of smouldering lake area coz of that. This was helpful for my pyromancy run. Let's see if I can get Quelena tome. For sorcery run, I use hidden body.... That usually helps. Anyway, thanks.
You are welcome!! You can keep the pesky critters away with alluring skulls make them run the other way. I activate the ball of bones from the catacombs bf and follow it down the stairs and run back up - you can kill 3 of them without ever seeing them.

Hey there Curtis - This is the Conjurator Armor Set - This is found in the Road of Sacrifices to the right of the entrance to Farron Keep. At the base of a tree, next to a Great Crab.
I noticed that after I looked at it for a second, I didn't realize how long ago this video was uploaded and the sets color was changed after, thanks for telling me though ^_^
Hey there! For this I used the miracle "Replenishment" and the Pyromancy "Flash Sweat". You can use Red Bug pellets as well. The conjurator robes also have high fire resist -- this armor is in the woods area near a tree in the water (same location as the great swamp pyromancy tome).

+MissBeeHavin69 how about pvp? what about knights, and the giant serpent man, those guys are pretty annoying. Random tip: dragonslayer spear wrecks regular serpent man with the skill (thrust/lighting)
+Ivanosque Van schaick (Ivanhoe) Good ideas :) The giant serpent man is in archdragon? Those guys are annoying. With a 50 INT build and crystal souls spear it still takes 3 shots to kill them. Since the Toxic mist and poison mist are pyromancies I can try with and without the rings as well. Combining the Witch ring and the great swamp ring give the pyros a good boost.
+Ivanosque Van schaick (Ivanhoe) Hey there! I did test the poison mist vs toxic mist and toxic definitely does more damage. I think I was getting around 18 per second. Maybe the pyromancy rings boost this?

You would be able to grab it but your vigor should be very high.
I don’t remember lava being in there when I went there. Am I missing something?
I have never seen the lava not there - maybe you were in a different location?
