I learned about this beautiful story (Kare 11's 'interview with the boys) from a Catholic priest who spoke about it in the homily during this past Sunday's Mass where he connected this story to the Gospel reading (John 15:9-17) about love and friendship. One of most touching homilies/sermons I have ever heard. ♥

This is sunch a precious story for trey to take the time to be his friend just shows you the reaspect that he has for his friends although his friend has a disability trey looks beyond that and see him as a friend and vaules that freindship beyond what everyone elease would do it is the inter strength and vaules that trey has been taught that disabilitys dont define friendships i really hope they remain friends forever the bond that trey has built with adam is so prescious and is what i have tried to teach my other kids to do is just be a teue friend and respect each other and be thier for one another threw thick and thin and dont let anything come inbetween that it doesnt matter what people say or do to try to do its what you belive in your heart and want to do you dont need to get something out of a friendship to be a friend to someone it is the bond of friends and the strength and vaules you develop togethere as friends that is your reward that in its self is the best friend of all we are all different and all of us think differently and people can be so cruel today s world im so glad that thease to are friends this is a very good exzample of a true friend just becuase somone has a disability doesnt mean they cant be sucessful in life all thier lige all they want is to just fit in and be acepted as all the others so please take the time to be friends with someone and give that person a chance in life
autism isnt as simple as what she says... autism can be many things and many ways and many different levels. i, aparently have autism.. mostly its stopped me from forming friendships, getting/keeping jobs.. and its also stopped me from planning for the future.. i tend to live in the moment or the past. (while being terrified of the future) im very emotional and very deep.. perhaps overly deep (i know because some people find it awkward). i would say dont judge your childs autism based on what you see in videos. base it on them. everyone is different.. and everyones autism is different.. im not sure autism is really a thing.. its just about being different to the average person.. perhaps you dont handle crowds well.. perhaps you dont handle one to ones well.. but perhaps you shine in one place more than the usual. things will be okay
I like that you posted this story about how autism is, I have autism and my wife oddly didn't find anything wrong with me and it makes me happy there are people who dont see a problem, I have a higher functioning one but I still have problems with sensory to things and I tend to do things like panic alot but my wife is always there to help me and we try to help our son who has autism and another son who doesnt have autism and we hope that they have a bond like the two kids in this video
