Wait a minute... did you actually FILL IN the perforations (holes) in the leather?? I wouldn't consider that as an acceptable "repair". It does look at lot better I suppose, but you're still working with crumbling, rotting leather fibers. Only a matter of time before it all happens again no???

There is a pieces of fabric underneath the torned part. We glue it. Then we only fill in the "Filler" at the border which was torned. At times some filler may enter into the pores. That is nothing to worry as we have a tool to puncture the holes again. you are right that..."only a matter time before it all happens again..." It would take some years like 4-5 years before it breaks again. If the owner condition the leather often, it will last longer. But the idea here is the owner wants to preserve it. So, we carry out repair work accordingly.

Sorry but it didn’t look good. All the perforations in the leather were filled while some were left. This made it look clearly like the leather had been “fixed” from previous damage. Would have been way easier to just replace the skins on the front seats. There’s a few suppliers of oem hides around and for quite fair prices. This would would have given the truly perfect result for probably about tie same price the labor and supplies of the “repair” did.

You are right Garrett about replacing it with new OEM hides...However, we do what customers whats us to do. He does not mind that some perforated areas wre filled with fillers as we already informed that it has to be covered due to the tension. We do brief about what to expect. There is a limit, that is why it is "restoration". About prices, well different spots in the world varies. We do offer new hides but at times owners prefer and insist they want to restore the old ones as they have their reasons unknown to us. Thank you for your comments.
