Taking the time to say thank you for putting together this video. I lost count how many videos I watched trying to find a solution for my issue, yours was the one! Thank you both.
I am so happy you posted this video and that I found it! We took our Class C motorhome out for the first time this year. After we dewinterized and filled up the water heater we found that we didn't have any hot water.........exactly like in your video. I'll definitely check that check valve. I'm betting that is the problem. Thanks for a great video!
GREAT DYI Video!!!! Ugh! I have to tackle my RV plumbing before heading off to my new job assignment and this has inspired me. Got lots of red and blue PEXX tubing, fittings, and whatnot to get the shower, sink and all that working perfectly. Thanks for this!
Best video I've found yet. Had the exact issue and I'm kinda green to all this. Thank you for your help. Let's hope this is finally the fix to my issue. Cold showers suck!
Just found you and this video. Went to do dishes last night and no hot water or any water coming from the hot side from any of our faucets. Thanks for this video. We will be checking that valve soon.
Blow Ricky Blow. lol. Very nice find and great temp fix. Nice work and detail on the video as well. Even someone like me could now do this and that is saying something. lol Great info y'all. Hope you are doing well.

Hi Ricky and Barbara! Well you got yourself in hot water, but in a good way :) That was a great diagnosis & temporary fix! Nice job and thanks for sharing, it will help someone else I'm sure. Take care, Debbie - BluWave Odyssey
Yep, makes the showers a bit more enjoyable! Thanks for watching and supporting our channel...we appreciate y'all! We are also enjoying your trek up in the Northeast. Keep have fun and be safe. Peace.
Great work Ricky! We have enough valves around our hot water tank to turn the water off completely. That's where my thoughts were at the beginning of your video. Thanks for sharing the check valve info! Steve
You got that right! Anytime I can save little change....I'm willing to try. Thanks, Scott and Allison, for watching. We appreciate the channel support. Peace!
Gus?! Gus probably couldn't tell his channel locks from his crescent wrench! Tell you what, if you have RV issues in Mayberry...let Gus tinker with it! 😊
Thanks a bunch, Barrett! Appreciate you watching and leaving a comment. The one thing I really learned in the Navy....solid troubleshooting! Take care and hope to catch you down the road!
I watched this video I'm on the road for months with 25 year old bounder it happened to me. Could not remove the valve it just would not crack open .Gave up then realized it was the supply line coming from cold supply. Snaked it with a thick solid piece of wire and all this like soap was clogging it. Thanks for the video

Wow, glad it helped, Mike. Thanks for visiting our channel. Merry Christmas...and peace!
Would this still be the case if it was only the kitchen faucet not getting hot water? Our bathroom sink and tub taps are getting both hot and cold.

Now Billy is my kinda' shade tree mechanic! Would rather have him, than Gus. Thanks for watching, Jim!
Why not just use a nipple wo the check valve how much cold water will actually flow back and mines very difficult to reach appreciate any responses

Don't people live in houses anymore? I have no hot water every morning, but it comes back to working at sunset. Explain that one.
