@@tomgeorge9025 Its worth whatever u list it for or if u auction it, what someone will pay for it....on ebay Ive seen one dollar bills sell for 20-60 bucks, just depends and 100 bill any where from 150-200....its harder to sell the higher notes for profit
Yes but you dont speak about the sher cost of getting such a hi grand coin authenticated i have a 2½ gold dollar coin that can be worth 50k+ and i can not afford to get it graded
@@thecoinchanneltube But they also were made of metal that had value compared to the metal coins use today that are less. For example, a Silver Quarter back in 1964 and prior was worth 25¢ and maybe 26¢ which was real value to what it was for. However, the Copper-Nickel Clad Quarters are literally almost 2 times less valuable with only worth of 12 or 15 Cents and that's it. Dropping the value of the currency is bad for its use. You are really only paying with Quarters equivalent of 12¢ and not 25¢, then that says something.
Love your content, question, is it ONLY American coins have errors? Recently found numerous coins from 20’s and 30’s from around the world in a back yard…
I have a 1965 penny and instead of saying liberty it looks like loberty but not a complete O looks like they made a mistake almost placing a D so not the curve of the D but the vertical back part is missing so it looks like this LCBERTY but the C is facing rhe L
I found a penny that the front right side is stamped with lettering from the back side. It also has a raised ridge on the back at the top....I tried searching ebay for a similiar coin with this error and cant find one. Do u think its worth getting graded? I dont want to spend the money to be a member and then more money getting it graded if its not worth it. We dont have any coin dealers near me either so Im not sure what to do. Any suggestions will be most helpful! Thanks Eric
I'll tell you exactly what a coin dealer would tell you. "It's an interesting coin. I'll give you $10 for it for my personal collection" I can tell you that it'd help if you actually told us the date and condition. But it sounds to me to be more unique than not.
You can buy '82 small dates for a couple bucks in BU uncirculated condition. Unless you have some flawless that are gonna grade ms67 or higher, its not worth the cost of grading them.

To be honest, older coins were the real money compared to the junk we have today.
Cherish the real money older treasures.

Those videos are often put out by questionable types, fishing for a fool willing to offer them money for something that has not been authenticated.
Well that’s what grading is for 👍🏻
I hope he got it to the right place "saftly". 😂
