Wow that’s just plain scary!
Thanks for sharing the events of this lightening caused fire. Thankful there was no grass fire involved. Stay safe.
Wow this fire was incredible and could have been so much worse if all that grass had caught on fire. Glad you all are ok. Amazing how far that lid blew and the sound must have been deafening. The next day when you were showing us around I was surprised that those small fires were still burning. It looked like no one was monitoring them but I'm sure the video just didn't pick up on it. Thanks for sharing it.
There was a couple guys watching it
wow
😮😮😮omg thank goodness everyone is fine❤
Thankfully you saw it from your window!
Glad you were lucky with the grass situation…
Dang that’s some force to blow that lid off.
We will watch anything thanks Jason keep them coming
I actually missed this video
Firemen know as much the oil field people about how to put the fire out. We have classes that we study
Yes but what I was saying is these guys work out here every day they know what valves to close and what not to close
Its a awful and scary situation glad no one got hurt. Thank you sharing
🙏sure enough glad the grass didn't get caught up 👌
Thank God no one was hurt and there was do brush fires.
Good thing nobody was hurt, best thing to do is let them burn out, we have that happened quite a few times a year over here in east Texas.
I write a lot of all and gas leases here in Texas and pretty much all of them today include stuff like this, that way it's not a loss to the landowner or mineral owner, you still get paid for what was in those tanks based off of the last production run and the daily barrels of production a day, the loss covers lightning, earthquakes, wind, other acts of god, along with vandalism and any forms of terrorism.
A lot of lease brokers do not like that verbiage in those leases but they either can take it or leave it.
Back in the early 2000s we had a big issue with people driving by with high powered 308 or 30-06's shooting the tanks.
OMG….God definitely blessed you with rain these past months !!! Thank the Lord you and your family and the 1st responders were not hurt ! 🔥 God had y’all wrapped in his arms !💫🙏🏻
It's probably none of my business, but does you family have the mineral rights?
No
Flew over the ranch going to Canadian for a date night. I could see your bush bullet has been putting a beating on the cedars.
😁😁😁
Sorry you had to deal with this. I'm glad everyone is alright .
Glad to hear y’all received some moisture! How’s Mendota Max looking this year?
Nice explanation. Glad the firemen had it under control and it wasn’t worse than that.👍❤️🇨🇦
Got lucky with thr grass fire. Jason always keeping a eye out.
This interesting video for sure. Thank you for sharing.
Extremely hot summer all over. So glad no injuries.
Thank goodness for no injuries or grass fire. Appreciate the video.
Thank the good Lord that no one was hurt and the grass didn't catch! 🙏🏻🇺🇸
Oh Jason!!😮I am SO glad a grass fire didn't start as a result, that would've been horrible! I was a little surprised when you said you've had 5 this year so far😬, were they all from lightning?!
Sounds like a nap was in order the day after, eh? Maybe not, ranch life doesn't allow for many naps😄
Glad y'all scooted out of that situation with the help of the community!!
All’s well that ends well and truly a blessing that no one was hurt.
That was very interesting thank you
Oh my goodness. So sorry... My heart goes out to you❤
Wow that lid blowing off is crazy. Lucky the grass didn't catch fire. Good luck
Luck for sure
Wow, I'm glad everyone is okay.
Yikes that’s a big scary fire
I’m so sorry. Hope y’all are ok.
Wow , fire is so scary! Why wouldn’t they put lightning rods around a big location like this?
Doesn’t seem to help
The amount of energy involved to throw that lid that far! Glad you didn’t have a grass fire on top of it.
Me too
What is a tank battery?
The tank that holds the salt water and the oil
Salt water and oil? For what?
That what come up of the ground. You get natural gas, oil and salt water
