Yeah I discovered that you need to keep the Nintendo Wii like you had it at the end of the video for it to work currently for the Nintendo GameCube games. I found that out a few years ago.
Maybe because you have it vertically. That actually makes the disc drive break more easily than when it is horizontally. I had my wii horizontally for 12 years and this never happened. I know the disc is small but it never gotten stuck like this before.
@jash274 The console could easily fall off and break. My wii has fallen a couple of times but it is still working fine after all those years of having it. Horizontally is the proper way to use a wii and that is why it has the stand.

My wii has this same issue, it reads wii games fine but for some reason game cube games haven’t been reading and have been getting stuck

if a Wii game or GameCube game disc get stuck you should hold the eject button for 5 seconds
