Honestly, The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess one just gives me chills, I tend to forget these banners existed now that I just emulate but these banners always really added to the experience of booting up the game.
5:10 This single WIi intro gave me so much nostalgia. I remember I was 5 years old and I was going grocery shopping with my mom at a Vons and I asked her to rent a movie from the Redbox just as we were leaving and she agreed. I was originally going to get Despicable Me but I saw that you could rent video games. At the time, I only had 4 games for my Wii, Mario Galaxy, Wii Sports, Wii Play, and Mario and Sonic at the WInter Olympic Games. I had just started my Sonic phase and I saw that Sonic and Sega All Stars Racing was available so my mom got it for me. When I got home I quickly ate my dinner and went to play the new game I had just gotten and I immediately knew it was my favorite game. I remember when I went into the game from the menu, the sound was really loud and my mom told me to put it down. After I made my licence in the game, I saw a ton of characters I had no idea who were so I picked sonic. After a month, my mom had to return it and I was really sad. After 3 months without the game, it was my birthday and my best friend came over. He heard me talking about the game alot at school and he ended up getting it for me. I didnt even want to pizza or cake so I ran to my living room and put the disk into the Wii. I handed out 3 remotes to my other friends and we played it. After 2 hours of playing everyone got bored exept for me and I let everyone eat my cake just so that I could play my game. I ended up unlocking everything in 3 days.
this game was the absolute foundation of my childhood, but i had it on the 360 rather than the wii. I actually found a wii disc of the game lying in my basement, but it doesn't work :(

I think computer errors are just kind of inherently unsettling. I think the theory is that it *always* means something went wrong so our brains are already primed to respond negatively.

I can’t even begin to tell you how emotional that City Folk intro makes me feel. My sister and I spent so many hours on that game, and we played it consistently for at least four years. We even had the Wii Speak so we could go visit our cousin and couple of friends who also played and talk to them, although we could have just done it over the phone. I know a lot of people fell in love with the game with Wild World, but City Folk/GC games were my whole childhood for me.
I just started to play city folk (in fact I was about to play just now but decided to go on yt instead) a few weeks ago. I bought it off GameStop. ACNH was my first AC game but I loved it so much AND I still have a working Wii so I thought let's get accf. It's a pretty good game :) and although I never played it when it came out I can literally still FEEL the nostalgia 🥺
Fun fact, I used to have a horrible fear of the Wii fit board. I had a dream that it walked up two flights of stairs into my room one night when I was little because of how it walked and talked to you in the game
I will NEVER forget the sound to Sonic Riders Zero Gravity, hands down one of my favorite Wii games that I still continue to play to this day, plus all the other sonic games as well!! Such a wonderful section!!!
Fun fact! The reason that new Just Dance games are still being put on the Wii, is because the console is used as physical therapy for children. It's really a great reasoning for it, and not necessarily because Ubisoft makes money from it.
Those little features were adding a lot to the mood of the wii. The twilight princess one took me back to the Christmas of 2006. The living room was full of ripped gift wrap, I was sat on the floor with my Christmas pyjama, and this sound came out from the tv and mark the beginning of an epic journey.

The Wii Sports, Wii Sports Resort, Wii Fit, Wii Party and Animal Crossing City Folk ones hit me hard with nostalgia like a truck. I remember I would play these games nonstop as kid, sometimes even for hours on end. I'm so glad that my Wii still works and surprised that none of the disks are scratched.

I remember I was 5 years old and I was going grocery shopping with my mom at a Vons and I asked her to rent a movie from the Redbox just as we were leaving and she agreed. I was originally going to get Despicable Me but I saw that you could rent video games. At the time, I only had 4 games for my Wii, Mario Galaxy, Wii Sports, Wii Play, and Mario and Sonic at the WInter Olympic Games. I had just started my Sonic phase and I saw that Sonic and Sega All Stars Racing was available so my mom got it for me. When I got home I quickly ate my dinner and went to play the new game I had just gotten and I immediately knew it was my favorite game. I remember when I went into the game from the menu, the sound was really loud and my mom told me to put it down. After I made my licence in the game, I saw a ton of characters I had no idea who were so I picked sonic. After a month, my mom had to return it and I was really sad. After 3 months without the game, it was my birthday and my best friend came over. He heard me talking about the game alot at school and he ended up getting it for me. I didnt even want to pizza or cake so I ran to my living room and put the disk into the Wii. I handed out 3 remotes to my other friends and we played it. After 2 hours of playing everyone got bored exept for me and I let everyone eat my cake just so that I could play my game. I ended up unlocking everything in 3 days.
this game was the absolute foundation of my childhood, but i had it on the 360 rather than the wii. I actually found a wii disc of the game lying in my basement, but it doesn't work :(

I can’t even begin to tell you how emotional that City Folk intro makes me feel. My sister and I spent so many hours on that game, and we played it consistently for at least four years. We even had the Wii Speak so we could go visit our cousin and couple of friends who also played and talk to them, although we could have just done it over the phone.
I know a lot of people fell in love with the game with Wild World, but City Folk/GC games were my whole childhood for me.
I started City Folk in like 2018 and it was my first animal crossing but damn that game is good

i remember beating this game like, a month before the second one came out. i was 8 years old and it took me like 2 years to finish the game. it was the first video game i ever beat and it will always mean so much to me :,)
The Wii Sports, Wii Sports Resort, Wii Fit, Wii Party and Animal Crossing City Folk ones hit me hard with nostalgia like a truck. I remember I would play these games nonstop as kid, sometimes even for hours on end. I'm so glad that my Wii still works and surprised that none of the disks are scratched.

The music that plays on “Rayman: Raving Rabbids” at 6:54 is actually the same music that plays on a dev “DiscCheck” tool, wonder if the devs of that game just forgot to change it cuz it’s probably some placeholder
