I got my GD3 FIt this past week and learned today that the goofiness of my clutch pedal is the CDV! I can't wait to delete it. Thank you for the informative video. I love your sense of humor too.
Maaaan, I have the same squeaky clutch in my GD3. I've found spraying it with some silicone lubricant can help but it does eventually become squeaky again. Any suggestions on a fix for that?
I know on a lot of other cars you can actually buy replacement bushings for the pivot on the clutch pedal, beyond that you could probably get away with greasing the original bushings. That squeaking noise was driving me nuts just in this short video, I couldn't imagine putting up with it for DD use.
