It takes no effort to be a negative jerk. It takes a great person to turn negativity into something positive and self empowerment.

Girl.. I'm speechless. I can identify with you to a T and I'm at the stage where I ready to turn this life of mine around. I came across you at the exact right moment and thank you for your inspiration and helping me sharing the tools you used to overcome what's been my so called life. I never made it because I would always make it tomorrow but right now tomorrow is today and I can feel it in my mind body and soul that I have officially leveled up and I will continue to do so. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Leila, this is LEGIT what I needed to hear. I’m currently 222 maybe that’s why it hit me so hard. I took the day off and I’m at the gym watching this. Last summer I lost 30 pounds and gained it all back. It used to be so easy for me to get to 170 and now I’m 35 and I’m 222. I don’t know what the hell my issue is but your right-stop complicating the process and just go do it! Thinking about hiring my old coach back-the accountability really helped me. I have 2 successful businesses and my body needs to keep up with my ambition and growth:) thank you for sharing your story! So much love to you and Alex!

Used to be 250, did keto and turned my life around. All about diet, I lift as well and do cardio, helps your organ health but it's really all about diet. Eat healthy foods you enjoy (what keto was for me - they have keto breads and stuff) and you'll come to appreciate healthy foods and what it takes to take care of your body. I've learned a lot about vitamins and nutrients and seeing my hair grow, muscles grow etc over time, I've come to appreciate eating healthy. I still eat junk like keto ice cream bc it works for me, but it fits into my calories for the day and I mostly eat stuff that focuses on my protein and vitamin/mineral intake. Find what works for you. It doesn't have to be miserable, eat healthy alternatives, watch your calories and weigh your food.

Anger motivated me as well. The anger from being at that stage. I just think about how I don't wanna get that way anymore, emotionally and physically. MY opinion. You don't have to agree with it, but I'd like to share it:
It is true that you have lost a lot of weight compared to the "Before" picture. However, I personally believe the person depicted in that "Before" picture has a more beautiful face, mainly because it looks a lot more natural.
You don't have to have a face full of heavy makeup, fake lashes, fake lips (fillers), square brows?, dark shadows, etc. to be beautiful.
In fact, it seems like if these things are a requirement for you to feel beautiful, then you don't actually believe yourself that you are beautiful in the first place.. And if you keep using them over and over, then it must mean that you believe they are something that you *Need.*
Be proud of what you've accomplished. Be proud of your beautiful progress, and don't be afraid to show the world! You don't need to hide it behind all these superficial elements.
Just my 2 cents. You're welcome to challenge me in the comments ;)

Your story is so motivating. But I'm 62. Covid ruined my lungs, and I can no longer do cardio. My joints are bad. Weeks of hospitalization left me loosing almost a pound of muscle a day, and as soon as I was back home, I gained 50 back. Now it is almost impossible to lose it. I'm lifting at home, walking backwards to help my knees, walking the dog every day, but it's ridiculous at this point in my life. I need support and help, I think, to overcome all of this. It makes me feel weak, and I hate that.
