2:34 is really something to appreciate if you're looking for a good view of an NCAA championship game inside a dome. That footage gives me chills.

A USA Today guy who ranked all the OSM said for this one: "I like the choice to start out with Shane Battier with the championship trophy and then work backwards. Still a little heavy on the computer effects." .... It's not that they started with Battier, but that was just some overlap form when they used to roll the credits and show the players cutting down the nets to the song "Golden Street Prelude". I wish they would bring that back just before OSM - and that these writers would get their facts straight, too!

This version is the worst version. Vandross will always be the best one

I don't think it's the worst but Luther Vandross' version was definitely the best. It's kinda weird hearing this version of the song without Luther singing.

@@kuluke2002 The first version was sung by Teddy Pendergrass. Not sure, but I heard that Pendergrass and CBS had a dispute over the fee for continuing to use his version. CBS asked the original songwriter, David Barrett, to record a version which they used for a few seasons. Then Luther Vandross said he'd record a new version from his wheelchair. Supposedly it was the last song Vandross recorded.
