My dream for them all is that Art wins the match, goes on to win the US Open and then retires, THEN he and Tashi both dedicate themselves to coaching Patrick to winning an Open, all while the three of them live happily in their throuple
patrick is the more talented player, but art is the more hardworking player... and art was recovering from a shoulder injury in 2019. thats why he went to play in the challenger in new rochelle, to build back up his confidence after his surgery!
This is so much more about obsession than love or lust. Tashi is obsessed with tennis, and is using Art & Patrick to live her dreams vicariously. Art is obsessed with Tashi, and is going through the motions of a tennis career he doesn't want just to keep her. And Patrick is obsessed with Art, and using tennis & his pursuit of Tashi as a way of grabbing his attention
All three had issues obviously but I think Patrick cared a bit more for Art than Tashi. He wanted to be included and in the end he did by Art, no secrets between them hence the hug. My favorite 2024 film so far
I totally think Lily is Pat's kid too! I mean if Atlanta happened 8 years ago, Tashi would be pregnant for around a year, I could totally see that kid being around 6-7!
Amazing movie. Watched it in theaters and was tuned tf in. Added to my list of fave movies of all time. The emotions, you feel all of it. Soundtrack amazing. Best throuple ever
Ahh that makes sense, although, if they’d never specified years anyway I don’t think anyone would have been like “err why aren’t they acknowledging Covid 🤓”
loved hearing your thoughts at the end,, wrt to the ball "i slept with tashi signal" your idea ab it being ambiguous really is interesting bc it plays into the mindgames shenanigans but when i watched the movie knowing theyd slept tgt and having all those shots on patricks hands and the racket built up a lot of tension and i loved that too
The only wholesome time they spent with each other was when they spent time all together. The moment they tried to separate themselves they all fall apart one way or another until that moment in time they come together again. The only way they work is as a throuple.
Patrick doesn’t have to win for the money anymore because at the end he has a place to sleep, he is Tashi and Art’s boyfriend.
THROUPLE THROUPLE THROUPLE !!!!!!!!!

I knoooow people say the outcome ultimately doesn't matter but I still want the best for them all!!!

30:09 this scene didn’t happen in atlanta, it’s in the present and the day before the match

Am I the only one that wanted to see Mike play Patrick??😂
(they were all perfect though)

REAL MOVIES ARE BACK
Luca G seems to like playing with when titles come in. In Call Me By Your Name, the titles are at the end of the film.
As someone who also has curly hair does anyone else just wanna snip the pasta noodle hanging on his forehead
