Waited all year for the season premier of Yellowstone tonight. Waited a week for your Episode 2. Watched you first Greg. :-). Already looking forward too Ep. 3.....
HAHA!!! We have been re-watching all the Yellowstone episodes. We still have a few left before we can watch the new season. It is going to be AWESOME! And thanks for checking this one out. I'm excited to see the version of this tele that you are going to build... You know how to get ahold of me if you need anything.
That is a cool little super glue caddy!
Matt over at Next Level Carpentry made it for me. I love it.
Hey Greg,
Ever consider a vacuum bag instead of clamps at 3:24? I hear they're the bomb and would have no trouble getting those stubborn bubbles and air pockets out. I've been edging closer to tackling the learning curve but still resort to clamps and cauls... one-o-these days, maybe? Cool build though for sure!
I've had a vacuum system on my want list for awhile now. I get by with the clamps, so it hasn't been a priority... YET! Maybe Santa will bring one by a few weeks from now... Hmmm... I probably better make sure he has my list!!! :D
@@SkyscraperGuitars I've recently been repeating a great quote attributed to Henry Ford: "If you need a tool and don't buy it, you'll pay for it but not have it." It's a great quote but my behavior regarding it is a bit hypocritical... maybe it will have an effect on Santa though? 😎
Let’s build a tele! Been waiting for episode 2 of the guitar build.
Thanks Tom! Already working on Episode 3!
It’s a real pleasure watching you work. 👍👍
Thanks Matt. The feeling is mutual. There's just something cathartic about watching woodwork.
It is Awesome to see the Radius Sanding Beams in action!
They performed amazingly. I can't wait to see the pile of them heading my way.
Oooh I've been waiting for this next installment! Everything's looking so good, instrument AND tools!! I may bend your ear sometime in the future about the process of getting extrusions done, those sanding beams look great!
Absolutely Jeff. I'll be in KC for a couple weeks. I can hit you up when I'm there. I think I still owe you a collet wrench IIRC.
@@SkyscraperGuitars Haha you don't owe me a thing but yeah definitely give me a ring when you're in town!
I've buit a Tele before and it is definitely one of my favorites. Love how you started from raw tonewood and turned it into a beautiful TE body. Great video mate!
Thank you! These slab guitars are pretty relaxing to build. The only stress is in the neck and that's not really too bad.
@@SkyscraperGuitars Awesome man! Lookiung forward to seeing the finished project. Good luck and have fun building 😊
Nice work and demo of your product line. That Zebra wood is intense.
Thanks Dane! I haven't worked with the zebra wood like this before... It's IMPOSSIBLE to track the center line on it... It just disappears every time you need it.
I wish these were in the UK. They look amazing quality and are finished beautifully. Unfortunately, taxes and shipping will make these just a little out of reach.
That WAS alot of work. Lol. Dinnertime. Meatloafs ready. Get up here! 🥘🥘🥘🍺
LOL! I'm glad we're on the downhill side of all that. Enjoy the meatloaf!
Nice t-shirt
Whats it like being a world reknowned luthier? Lol
LOL! I'm a total guitar nerd, so I still have to pinch myself that I get to do this for a living.
