Man inspired me so much when I got my Volca collection. Shows what can be achieved through enjoying practice and jamming for the LOVE of it. Relates to all gear. Keep going! Musical creativity can be hard, but when you know your instrument, and are on a roll, the good shit just takes you on a journey to the moon. KEEP GOING!
Ahh, just came back to this upload again. Man you OWN those instruments. Tickle them like a BOSS. Love it! Top man. I will always keep coming back to your work for a kick up the ass to keep me loving making music.

Better than any Didgeridoo could do!!! Fantastic mix and variations ( modulations sorry !) How do you hold your camera? Would like to see your rig for it? Need to get ready for my first Synth Tubey!!!
Hello! Your work is inspiring! Soon I will also have a RUclips channel to play with some Volca sequencers and other instruments. Technology is expensive in Brazil, but little by little I will be able to acquire the equipment. I'll start with a Volca Bass, a Volca Beats and a Casio keyboard. See you soon!
What a wonderful performance and what a beautiful synthesizer. Thank you for the pure rhythmic-synthesizer session unpolluted by drums. This video is one of the greats in demonstrating the use of a sequencer as a live-performance feature. Also you've given a fantastic illustration of Korg's *brilliant* decision to make the octave selector a *rotary* controller instead of the usual up/down buttons, turning it into a live-performance controller! P.S. You neglected to mention what reverb you were using in the video description.
First of all..... its one of my fav reverbs ...the Specular Reverb v3. And yes the rotary knob controlled Octave selector is the absolute TOP argument for this Synth to use it in live performances or as a standalone gear. Thanks for your support SyncdAlien. Hope you have music on your Planet.

Well done good old boy. I'm expecting a volca bass bij mail. But I love the way u play it. I'm gonna practice with mine. Love and big respect. Ur a good musician I think. Greets the most memorable meltdown. X Holland.
A lot of the demos of the Volca Bass make it sound kinda dry towards the TB303, but this definitely has a squelchy sound to it. It's just like the squelch is moved down to the lower registers if that makes sense, and you have to work a bit harder at it. (I also managed to make my Microfreak squelch a bit messing with the envelopes)
On Volcas, the Fnct button enables access to further parameters. It's not a friend!, it's a pain of necessity in order to keep the unit as small and portable as possible.
@@Volcaniced i love the volca range. especially my beats and the sample. after the years i own some monophone basssynth, so maybe there is no essential need for another one, but i've been circling the bass for years now because the device seems so nice to me. --anyway, i really like your work, enthusiasm and devotion for the volcas. so, i think i take your advice. ps. any suggestions for cool inspiring stompbox FX? cheers, herbert

First Time in a Jam, that I stoped the Sequencer and played completely free: 16:35 // 42:42 and I used the Gate Function ... a great feature 15:35
Congratulations on the discoveries, particularly that the Start/Stop button, at least on the Volca, is a live performance controller!
@@SyncdAlien indeed it is.
The gate feature? What is this?
Is 'gate' on compressor or overdrive or noise? and is it exclusively on Volca Bass? Thnx

I showed my 83 yr old ma VolcaNiced vids and she said 'it looks like a lot of hard work, all that twiddling'!. X
I told her that he is a master. She likes electronic music btw, loves the beats, 'feels it'. ❤
