Good morning my brother. It was tough but the last couple of weeks was the worst. I called them and they said “Almost finished in another week.” Then ShotShow came up that pushed it back another two weeks but finally. 🥳😂🤩. Thanks again for your support. Appreciate it.
Morning Dude!! I wanted to use the venom song but they would have demonetized it but oh yeah!! WE ARE VENOM!!💯💯. This was worth the wait. Thanks again for your support and ideas.
Beautiful Venom!..I took your recommendation and traveled from South Jersey to The Bunker Gun Shop in Warminster PA. They were the only Staccoto dealer that had the 4.15 Heritage in stock. I dealt with Regi who made sure my purchase was flawless! Although the Heritage was sold out nation wide, Bunker still sold me the firearm at the suggested retail of $2999.00. Bunker has earned all of my future business!
Hey John!! Thank you!! Awesome!! That’s what I like to hear. My boys are the best. Regi is a cool brother. Knows his weapons. I’m glad everything worked out for you. Congratulations on your Heritage!!💯💯💯💯
The legendary collection grows! Beautiful pistol and as always excellent review. Your collection could use a Metrillo Gun Corporation “Master”. A 2011 made in the Philippines that is made to go fast. Would love to see a review if you can manage to get your hands on one
Very nice indeed, would be cool to see that ones barrel broken down. It looks like a bushing less Bull barrel. "Blacksmith9" man that's pretty cool they did that. Shows they see your a good customer unless you asked for that? Either way I'd have to take the one with the comp behind you but I'm a comp lush so there's no way around it. 😎👊🤘
Good morning!! Thank you!! It is a hybrid bull barrel, but definitely not a bushing barrel. Infinity does have really good customer service. The 38 SuperComp is my Fav RaceGun. Thanks for watching. Have a great week.
Good morning!! Nice!! I was looking at a couple of them too. They are amazing designs. Looking forward to the next batches. Thanks for watching!! Have a great week.
@@teamblacksmithllc I saw that. I hate not having a ledge. Skip Gunz has an integrated thumb rest and take down lever for 2011’s that is subtle (not pronounced like Atlas thumb rest). I put them on most of my 2011’s. I wouldn’t do it to that gun since the thumb rest is coated a different color, but awesome it shit so flat. On some of my other guns (eg S&W MP2.0 Metal Spec), I started putting a little talon grip tape on the slide to get someplace to place my thumb and not have it slide. Works awesome. Again…wouldn’t do it on that Infinity.
@jeffgraffeo8172 That sounds like a great idea for a few of my other guns. Skips Gunz does have some great options. I will have to check out what he has and make some modifications. Thanks for the suggestions.
Brother blacksmith. I know I commented in the shorts video of this gun but man I can’t get over how beautiful she is. I couldn’t tell the finish was bronze in the short video but my God what a shade of bronze that is is that DLC or PVD? It Almost looks like hard chrome, polished with a hint of gold or bronze just unique and gorgeous!! God bless you brother blacksmith you are the man.
This gun made me realize that a bobbed hammer on a single action only pistol makes perfect sense. Maybe this would keep people from dropping a hammer on a loaded chamber to carry it in condition 2.
Would you prefer carrying this Infinity or your XC? Considering both. I may acquire an XC and put an Infinity Ignition System and grip on it for urban carry.
It would be the XC. The XC is in my opinion the best production 2011 and more versatile than the others with the mid-tier price tag. It’s perfect for home defense, EDC and competitions. It all depends on your purpose for it but the XC with the upgraded Infinity ignition system sounds like the best choice. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching.
@@teamblacksmithllc It does help considerably. I will go with the XC. Staccato has made serious inroads here with PDs and is socially acceptable. In an urban setting, I will likely use a 340 PD - .357 Mag as a pocket pistol BUG with a 125 Buffalo Bore load. Four times out of five, with a close threat you should have the stubby already in the hand to keep initiative, surprise and speed.
With Iron Sights , I do ammo and accuracy test at 10/12 yards for Commander are shorter barrel lengths and 12/15 for Full Size Pistols and with Optics I prefer 15 yards as that’s the furthest my indoor range goes. If outside I do 50 feet (17 yards) or more. Good luck and Aim Small miss Small !
Nice video brother as always i really appreciate your content, nice gun also, how much do you know about the LimCat Custom Wildcat Tracker and how would you compare to the Infinity? I'm looking to add to my collection of nice 2011's. Keep doing you appreciate you.
Hey John!! Thank you sir!! Appreciate your support of my channel. I just started researching the Wildcat so not too much information or comparisons on it right now. Hopefully by the summer I’ll have more info or one in my collection too. I hear only solid reviews on it though. Thanks again!! I will keep it going.
Hey Mark!! Never a problem. In my experience shooting them, the island barrel has some muzzle rise but has an amazing return to zero. The island barrel is very accurate and recoil is very light from that perspective. As for the comp guns, they are the most flattest shooting guns. Little to no muzzle rise and at times no muzzle rise when maintaining the proper grip. The comp and ported guns allow the gun to mitigate muzzle rise and reduce recoil tremendously. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching.
Team Blacksmith. Was hoping you could give some advice. I saw an Infinity that I’d really like to buy on their site. I know they only make about 8 guns in each batch, but I’ve heard they’re almost impossible to get because they sell out within seconds of being put up for sale. Any advice you could give me. I’m a total newb to Infinity.
Hey Gary. Unfortunately I am in the same boat as you. I thought I would be able to squeeze in a special order different than their batch designs being a 3peat customer, but Infinity is sticking with the batch designs. First come, first serve policy. There are a few gun shops that grab them quick and resell them. The mark ups are not too expensive. I would recommend checking out Freedom Firearms in Las Vegas and SP Firearms Unlimited in New York. Best of luck.
Hey Jonathan!! Early congratulations on your Infinity. I did not make any adjustments to mine. I prefer a flat trigger over a curved trigger. In my opinion, the overall build is perfect. The only change I had requested was more of a design change for aesthetics reasons only. The only change I could recommend is the trigger pull weight. Infinity sets the trigger under 2lbs so if you wanted something slightly heavier I would have it done with them. Congrats again. Thanks for watching.
Im about to drop $7500 on an atlas erebus. I have a staccato XC and a bul armory SASII URF. Do you think the atlas erebus is much better than the XC? How does the erebus compare to a full race gun like my bul armory SASII urf?
In my opinion, the Erebus is the best gun money can buy. The XC was the best gun in my collection until I get the Erebus. It far exceeds the XC in overall performance, build quality and action. You would have to get your XC modified to make it run like an Erebus. I use my Erebus more than any other of my race guns for competitions. Don’t get me wrong the Bul Armory SAS II URF is one of the best race guns on the market. The Erebus runs just as good and fast as a pure race gun. You will not be disappointed with the Erebus.
I agree but even with the predetermined models, they do give you some modifications options. Just not as many. I was fortunate enough to get my custom order in just before the change. I spoke to them and the lead times were getting longer and longer so they made the change to be able to serve future customers with smaller lead times.
Hi Kevin. Not good to hear. I will do a short video and tag you on it. It will show you what you can do get the pin back in. The little spring on the detent pin that the slide stop push on is stiff. I will upload it in one hour.
I had the option to get it when I order my build but decided to go without it. I like the clean lines and look of the spider design. The optic would have messed it up for me.
