He might need some time before getting to "Who Memed That?" Better he spend more time to get to the new cast and crew before guessing their humor/meme style. Looking forward to a Smosh Beopordy and Eat it or Yeet it with Anthony though
@@BlastOfferi mean probably but they're probably still getting things settled company wise so that one's probably gonna come after they start releasing sketches
I hope they never stop informing that they bought Smosh so eventually it's just part of the intro like "if you guys missed the past 400 episodes, me and Anthony actually bought Smosh two years ago."
But did they ugly fuck at their shared custody kids birthday party and then hookup behind eachothers new partners back for months and then got back together only to un-ironically becoming happier than ever. Dangit thats the sopranos my parents are happily married
@@bluberrygames6185that's absolutely me lol so to me this feels like the "Uncle who married my blood-aunt, that I never remembered because I was too young, but you can tell they're so IN LOVE AGAIN" type vibe. 😂

People not being able to go like a few fucking hours without alcohol is insane 😭😭 literally go home later that night and have a drink if you're that desperate. If you can't go a few hours without a drink and you can't enjoy time with friends and family without drinking then you're an alcoholic like there's no excuse for that
Who tf makes people eat grass and drink piss for their vegan ego? Fk this sht, now blink I'm going to the meat and beer party instead, fk you and your wedding you selfish pos.
yeah. it’s like… isn’t the reception supposed to be about being with the couple and having a good time? what’s the point of an alternate reception if the couple isn’t there? it’s like she’s a high schooler throwing a rival house party on the same night as someone else’s party. but ITS NOT JUST SOME REGULAR OLD PARTY
I do believe Ian is right that it's after the main reception, but some people are like "well I'll just skip the main reception and go to this one." The easy solve is just to tell people they're not welcome to the alternative reception if they don't attend the main one.
That Alt reception mom is actually giving her daughter one of the greatest gifts in the world: A list of the people in her life who OBJECTIVELY value getting drunk more than they do her.
@@daanachmad4032 I know right! There was a time when alcoholic drinks were not a thing and we got on just fine then. There are people who don't drink and they can live full, happy lives. Getting drunk is not a necessity.
i mean from just the way it was written you can tell the OP was 100% the problem, they contradicted themselves like 4 times throughout and even tried to turn the story into their favour and it was still glaringly obvious "no big deal" "i dont remember it" followed by "she misconstrued it" "it was only 8 months" like how would you know these things if you forgot lmfao
It's so funny that the boyfriend in that pasta sauce story had enough time while studying for exams to scroll through tiktok and film one, and to send tons of texts and voice memos, yet he didnt have time to clean his own rug or cook himself a meal. Interesting priorities.
I know that Ian has had the running joke that he's the dull/deadpan one, but I need to point out just how energized he's been this week since Anthony's come back. I didn't realize til now that Ian hasn't had someone to bounce off of like Shayne/Courtney/Damian, Amanda/Tommy, etc, and having Anthony here is REALLY bringing out Ian's energy and humor in a big way. I dunno, it's good to see him crack jokes with a huge smile on his face.
It was explained in Anthony’s video I believe that Ian went through a lot after Anthony left. Imagine your best friend and business partner leaving and having to carry the business by yourself while it failing by your parent company owners and then having to carry it on with whatever fumes he was running on. He needed a lot of help and therapy due to it and same happened with Anthony after defy bought them. But you can tell Ian changed and became a lil different but I’m glad to see he looks a lot better now and happier
@xvaderxkiller5190 yeah I came here to say Ian didn't really have time to process anything when The Collapse happened and Anthony left, and that definitely does some psychological damage to people. I'm just upset with everyone who thought Ian was just an asshole. He's not. He just went through so much alone. I love seeing Ian genuinely happy again.
@@sentientplant9658 yeah no Ian was always a happy guy and he always had Anthony’s back when they started all of this he was never an asshole he was just really depressed and stressed. It always bothered me that people thought that of him when clearly that wasn’t the case at all.
He has been well for at least an year already. People are just exaggerating, yes he was depressed so,e years ago , but he have been better atleast simce he reunited with Anthony again (1 year ago)

can’t get over the pasta story and people commenting “well have you told him before that you don’t want him to call you bitch” ??? that’s like saying you have to tell everyone who comes to your house that you don’t want them to shit on the floor like it should not be necessary lmao
Yea - like some people say it as a joke but you don’t jsut assume that type of stuff - like me and my bff (who’s a girl) use it casually, but a guy can’t use it (unless the girls okay with - or if there was legitimately a good reason) because it was originally used as a derogatory slur AGAINST women.
I think it SEVERELY matters on your relationship. I'm a woman and with both my family and friends we never have cared and we call all eachother "bitch" many times lol. It also matters on HOW you say it. I try and ensure it sounds goofy, strike a goofy pose or say it non chalantly, like it's as boring as the word "rock". This guy saw a tik tok trend and sounds like he PRETENDED to say it LEGITIMATELY. This is why it's highly important to make things clear and not make jokes or light out of such words. Not to mention everyone has different points of views on the world, some people cannot understand things like sarcasm or pick up on all jokes. This guy got mad at her for him pretending to say the B word seriously. She's completely in the right. Don't say hurtful things in seriousness nor pretend to do so without proper obvious social cues. True joking is obvious and everyone should very easily be in on the joke, even subtle jokes are open enough to elicit everyone to find it funny.
It’s weird because I don’t even remember being THAT big of a smosh fan back in the day, but Anthony coming back has made me realize how much of a fan I actually was. Just seeing Anthony and Ian being friends again makes me so genuinely happy and I can’t get enough of these videos
same :D i remember as a child finding comfort in old smosh videos. seeing the two together and being so open about their relationship in it’s up and downs is so inspiring. love them so much
I wasn't a big fan either, but I was like a distant supporter of sorts. But I been watching their Try not To Laughs recently, and I think the guys are pretty funny with that and are really good people. Now with Anthony back in, I look at the evolution of everything and just think that this content is even more special in a sense because of the fact that these guys have done so much in their tenure (All the members respectively), seeing how everyone grew in their time there. It's just really cool and makes me appreciate Smosh more and more everyday.
I saw some stuff but couldn’t have picked them out of a lineup but for me creators getting ownership of their stuff after selling it when young is just exciting
I actually really love how mature Ian, Anthony and Shayne are. I havent been watching smosh for a while now, but i've grown up watching smosh. To come back and see the crew being funny, entertaining but also respectful is very reassuring. It's like i'm glad I grew up watching ppl who are wholesome and respectable.
Honestly i was thinking the same exact thing, it’s so nice to see that people you grew up so comfortably with fit like a puzzle piece even when you grow up, they genuinely seem like pleasant people to be around.
i completely agree, sometimes ive seen old smosh skits with gay jokes or stuff that age poorly and i worried it would be the same but they have truly grown as people and it shows
@@ltodom5884 Right? It was cool on the "bitch" story seeing that, while their humor does include that kind of thing, they still think it should be done in a special type of context, and with people that share that kind of humor, not in a disrespectful context.
The wedding story is a perfect example of people that are not use to being slightly inconvenienced. If only they experienced actual oppressions, they would be shocked.
Is something tells me that the daughter didn't even originally invite the mom's. Guess the mom forced the daughter to invite that side of the family and then that side of the family complained and then that's what resulted in this whole shenanigan
Especially when you usually have to pay an extra fee to be allowed alcohol at a venue. They're throwing a baby tantrum over the couple not shelling out money for something they can't even participate in for the guests' convenience, fuck that
When you host a wedding you are a HOST inviting GUESTS, the literal nature of this is to cater to your guests. I knows it's a wedding and it's your day, but to not cater for your guests because "Today is all about me and me only" is tremendously cringe imho. However I do think it's messed up to arrange a parallel party that would take away from the amount of guests that can attend your ceremony.
@@jatt94msk They DID cater for their guests though. They provided food and drink. If I want a glass of wine at a friends dinne, they are not obligated to serve exactly what I want. Your logic is really poor, you are essentially saying have your own morals but provide for people that dont have them. Whats the point in that if you arent actually following them? Do I need to provide a hym for every christian that comes to my wedding? Dont get me wrong I think its dumb to not have alcohol, but then again I think loads of stuff should be at events that isnt. Of you dont like it, dont go or complain about it afterwards, but you cant really not let someone pursue their idea for their wedding. This is what family bitching session are for.
I saw so many comments from people that only know the non-anthony days.. meanwhile I was a huge fan early on when it was basically just Ian and Anthony and haven't seen any in-between stuff because I just didn't vibe with it.. but I had to resub to see the new og-smosh era
I grew up with old smosh, but I’m way more attached to the current squad, so my first thought to anthony coming back was panicking that everyone else was gonna get fired… I’m still paranoid thinking about who we haven’t seen in a while…
Especially because it's SO easy to eat something before the reception if you're worried you're not going to like the food. And they could always do it another day if all they want to do is eat meat and alcohol.
@@shaymorcormick8743 people choosing not to show up and your own mother choosing to both not come and throw a competing event are very different situations.
I was always impressed with how smart Anthony was before, but now he's got confidence from all the important conversations he's had. It's really fascinating seeing how strong his presence is
People are so unimaginative about vegan food though.. Imagine passing up wedding food! The possibilities are endless: A salad bar, pasta bar, rice and curries, soups, breads and dips and various accoutrements, grilled vegetables with toppings, lots of delicious fruit (perhaps even with some dark chocolate drizzle?), sorbet, fresh smoothies and juices, vegan cakes and the like. Still sounds mouth watering, doesn't it?
Right? I'm not vegan but I still know that there's TONS of good vegan food and even with me being a picky eater there's a lot of vegan stuff that looks absolutely amazing. I don't get how grown adults can be all "It has vegetables, why is it greeeen?:((". The alcohol thing is crazy too, imagine not being able to go like 1 day without drinking.
Fr and meat free proteins like tofu or mushrooms are so delicious when cooked properly. You can basically have any food you normally would with the amount of substitutes available now
I eat meat. I'm not huge about it but for health reasons. I love vegan food! I think vegans have gotten so creative with flavors. Plus vegetarian dishes just taste so good to me. I prefer veggie lasagna. I love roasted veggies. I love veggies and fruit raw too but my tummy doesn't take that The no alcohol rule would just have me drinking beforehand. I'm literally self medicating for anxiety and groups of humans are too much. Do I either come drunk (which to others is still normal in appearance because moderately drunk me is more normal than sober me and very drunk me is very social but still friendly) or I could come sober, a trembling jumpy mess likely to scream. I'm happy to stay home! But if it was OK to come in drunk but respectful I'd do that over attending the competition because its about the couple.
I love how every single video he has done this week, Anthony says 18 years and Ian corrects to 17 and a half. So finally for this vid he says "almost 18" and they all make a face and let it slide. 😂
As someone who’s considering a dry wedding, I cannot believe how much resistance there is. Everyone I’ve told so far, especially of generation X, has taken it as a personal offence. The fact that I’m choosing this because of the difficult relationship that my family has with alcohol, seems to be an even bigger problem. Anyway, I’m not paying for an open bar so I can get verbally abused again.
even if you don't end up having a dry wedding, i'm proud of you for considering it! it's super hard to stand up to family members and friends who are super set in their ways but you deserve a wedding that's tailored for YOU (and your partner), not anyone else. good luck 🫶🫶
I totally agree with the dry wedding. I don’t drink because I don’t like it and all sides of my family have problems with alcohol. Some of my family members get so drunk, they completely ruin events. And if it makes those people not come, good, honestly. I don’t want them there, but ultimately will invite them out of obligation (if I do have more than an intimate wedding)
My husband and I had a dry wedding. There was some push back and some that RSVP’d no. We had a beautiful wedding with people all around that we knew loved and respected us.
I drink, but many of my family members had dry weddings, I went and still had a great time. If you can't go without alcohol for one evening, that's a you problem.
Go for it. Anyone who gives you a hard time can just not come. I had a dry wedding and do not regret it. Less drama at the wedding. There may be drama before hand with people pushing for alcohol but at least theres no drunk people at your wedding causing drama the day of
Ian's realization that the receptions in story 2 were competing was hilarious. Just have the "alternative reception" later that day, or even the next day. The girlfriend with the pasta sauce is my fucking hero.
11:05 what’s wild to me about this is that everyone’s so worried about what they want at SOMEONE ELSE’S WEDDING. If it’s me I’m like “Oh you don’t like? Cool, don’t come.”
Judging from some comments I have seen in this video’s comment sections, some people genuinely believe weddings should be about guests first and foremost.
@@daanachmad4032 because you’re inviting them. If you’re not going to at least make the guests enjoy the event then you might as well have a private get together with people you know will be fine with the choices you make.
@@mariachi3217 Invitation is not an obligation, especially when you are not close to the brides and grooms. If you cannot enjoy yourself without meat and alcohol, then you are the one with the problems. Yes, you won't die or commit religious sins if you skip meat for one meal. Yes, you can survive without alcohol; only addicts think they need alcohol at all times.
00:15 The way they IMMEDIATELY bounced off each other's humor. It's so organic and just feels right. I don't think I've ever seen Ian radiate this much positive vibes in a long, long time. Shayne+Damien and Noah+Keith are about to have some competition again!

Last story about the camera in the woman's office has an UPDATE: "There's no HR but the camera was removed thanks to IT. So, as previously stated I still never said anything about the camera. I wasn't really comfortable with it, but I got used to being conscious of my actions so they weren't seeing anything I didn't want them to. There also isn't some sort of HR to talk to about this or anything like that. But our IT guy came in, and he asked my boss about it. I wasn't in the room, so I didn't hear entire conversation, but the first thing I heard was my boss saying that the camera was there before my office ever was. Something about using it to see the front door originally, I guess. That was a weird excuse to me, though, because I've been there for atleast two months at this point and there's no way they could've "accidentally" watched me as much as it felt like they had been. Hearing the conversation out loud also confirmed beyond a shadow of a doubt that it was a camera, and that I wasn't paranoid. The IT guy must've felt some type of way about it, because I didn't hear what HE said but I heard my boss say something about "well, it's not like I was just watching her in her office" in sorta a quieter, sheepishly defensive way. Nobody said anything to me while they were removing it (they took it from his side, not mine) but they instead put it where it would be facing the front door. This happened just over a week ago. I haven't posted an update until now because I was waiting to see if the camera would be put back. I really wanted to see if they were gonna put it back a few days after I.T. left, because THAT would've been wild. But it's been over a week now, the camera is still away from me. It'll take some time before I stop feeling like I'm being watched all the time, though. I'm really curious what the guy said to my boss, whether he said something about it not being allowed or if he called it flat out creepy haha. But I'm glad he did say something, as it got resolved without me ever having to say anything. I'd like to think he low-key had my back. I've still just been acting as if I've never known and haven't said anything about it, and work carries on. Also, it's so wild that this story got put in a Smosh video, holy shit. I heard the news back to back, first the "hey Smosh just bought their channel back" at the same time as "hey your post is in a new Smosh video". I made this post mostly to vent, because I couldn't tell if I had the right to feel so weird about this situation because everyone in my personal circle says it isn't that weird, so it's so nice that so many strangers are validating how I feel. To hear people talk about my experience on a public platform was a little surreal, I won't lie. This got so much more traction than I was ever expecting, but It makes me feel better, so thank you. Genuinely. My experience feels validated and it feels heard, and I feel better because of it. I'm still going to stay at this job, because I still like everyone here and I enjoy my field, but now I'll be doing it under a little less surveillance, lol. If the camera comes back, I'll let you know."
Glad you got it resolved without having to face any backlash. Sad that this situation happened in the first place. A bit creepy that camera was from above though. Glad IT had your back. Thanks for the update.
I want to point out that for the pasta sauce girl, her boyfriend was supposed to be studying for his exams, and he was instead filming a tiktok "prank" on his girlfriend, at the age of 30.
Sounds like he's a manchild, can't cook for himself, can't clean his own rug, tries to copy silly tik toks in a very inappropriate context. All around a poor excuse of a man. She's better off without him.
I get it but even still a whole pot of boiling hot pasta in his rug. I don't agree with him on anything else. Also I'm just saying it was a little bad to drop it, however him leaving it there completely relinquishes this claim
@@cassandracarlton400yeah, and also if it really was a tiktok trend or prank he wouldve said sorry or backed down that it was just a prank and not double down by being "now you're really being a bitch" man just digging a deeper hole for him

If his allergies are that serious that he can’t be in the same house with it in sealed containers how does he go anywhere? Allergies are scary, but this is extreme.
My sister said she was gonna have no alcohol at here wedding because we have a lot of alcoholics in our family but we all respected her wishes because it WAS HER WEDDING
Anthony: my problem is the competing. Ian: well i don’t think it’s competing I just have an issue with the people choosing to go to the separate event instead of the main wedding. Kiana: well they’re at the same time. Ian: THEY’RE AT THE SAME TIME?! I felt that like why would y’all do that 😭
I haven’t seen Ian this happy and energized in years. I’m so happy to see how Anthony gives him something to bounce off of. I even see Anthony’s old comedy coming back with Ian beside him and it’s insane. I grew up watching Smosh and now I get to see my boys back together. Thank you RUclips gods. Thank you
It seems to me like Ian prioritizes the “work” of it less than just having a good time with his friend(s) and I’m sure being back with Anthony reduces a lot of stress for him. It’s certainly nice to see them back together, they played a huge role in my childhood 💕 I watched Lunchtime with Smosh religiously.
I feel so happy for Ian. I always loved him in other Smosh videos, but it's nice to see him being part of a pair again, instead of being singled out as the boss. Most of the characters they play have a counterpart (Noah and Keith, Shayne and Damian, Courtney and Olivia), so it's kind of heartwarming to see Ian get his counterpart back.
Seeing Ian and Anthony with Shayne reminds me how important Shayne is to this channel. Shayne and the rest of this crew are so important to this channel, and I hope they know how appreciated they are by all of us fans! Yes, it's super exciting that Anthony is back, but I can't see Smosh anymore without people like Shayne and the rest of this amazing crew!
I gotta say, when Ian was left alone when Anthony left. He was not as happy and Defy controlled directing and had him in the side. He didn't feel like he was having fun and was just there because he wanted to still keep channel alive since it was his baby. Shayne, Damien, and Courtney carried smosh as main cast for channel and new smosh fans. As well the other side cast like Noah, Keith, and Olivia. When Defy left Ian literally paid cast to still film some episodes till smosh got bought by Mythical. I havn't watch a lot of smosh only once in a while since Anthony left. Now both owning show and Ian with Anthony just feels right. They are so fun and are happy together. Ian being so open and just smiling and joking around with Anthony made him bloom out and happy. Its so great both being together and having fun. I'm excited to see new sketches and even more with smosh family now has experience for a few years and get to work with main director/writers.
Smosh main channel was on the verge of being shut down, shayne and the main cast will stay exactly the same the only thing changing is that the main channel is going to be a lot Ian and Anthony sketch comedy with a focus on subscriptions
Totally agree with you guys! Definitely didn't mean to undermine the value and excitement of Anthony being back. I have not seen Ian so excited in a long time, and I'm so happy we get to see the original Smosh again!
At my wedding, we didn’t serve alcohol out of respect for my husbands side. MY side quite likes a drink, especially my moms family. So my mom threw an AFTER-after party for her family that DID have alcohol. It’s not that hard to accommodate both, the mother of the bride is being RIDICULOUS.
While I agree completely, I think something should be said about providing a vegan/non-vegan option as appropriate at weddings, just because you don't eat meat or just because you do eat meat doesn't mean everyone should do the same just because you want them to. But it's wrong to expect alcohol at all events for sure. That's just alcoholism lmao
The lack of alcohol definitely could be a cultural or religious thing. Especially Sikh people are often vegetarians and alcohol abstainers. They are both popular diets in other Eastern faiths too, Buddhism, Hindu, Islam, Taoist, Jain, etc. I'm fine without having alcohol, but I did used to worry about vegan food having too many nuts or coconuts in them (not allergic I just detest them). But I think vegan menus have definitely expanded and there certainly could be more options for me or folks similar to me nowadays. Just come to the reception with an open-mind, and maybe bring some dairy, meat, or alcohol with you just in case.
@@BusinessSkrubbut then we start getting into pricing and how expensive it may be for a second meaty/meatless alternative. All in all, to me, if the only problem is that somebody personally (even if it’s a large amount of ppl) doesn’t like what’s being served, but could easily still eat it, then there shouldn’t be such an uproar. It’s a day where you don’t have food that you may particularly like. Everyone’s had a day like that and it’s not like you can’t get anything afterwards if you’re still hungry.
@@fatimazafar8907 I think it's less about "not getting meat" for an evening, and more about consideration of the people you're inviting. It might be "your" day, but those are people too. If I knew I would have vegan/vegetarian guests at my wedding, I would splurge the extra effort to have meal options for them. Same if I was vegan, I would make sure there were non-vegan options so everyone could feel included. I just think it's mildly rude to expect every guest to acclimate to your personal tastes or opinions, regardless of reasoning. People are different and have different tastes, and in 2023 it truly isn't difficult to just have accessible options for everyone.
@@BusinessSkrubalso what if someone is doing a red meat diet? there’s a lot of things that are wrong with both sides but i lean towards the daughters side.

@@mariachi3217 As long as you are provided something to eat and drink, places to sit and roofs above your heads, why should it bother anyone that the foods are vegan and the drinks are non-alcoholics? If that prevents the guests from having a good time, then it is obvious they are the ones with problem. They act like eating meat and drinking alcohol are an obligation. Heck, it is even obvious they have drinking issues.
@ use that same argument with other diets and you’ll see how bad it is. People drink unpasteurized milk, that’s a diet. What about raw meats or paleo? What you’ve described is the bare minimum. As a host you’re to make the guests enjoy the event. You’re inviting guests, the least you can do is make the event memorable. And food is the one thing that makes or breaks an event. You can’t make people eat what they don’t like. Obligation or not. You aren’t someone to dictate that. Either you deal with a near empty venue, dissatisfied guests, or literally have options. It doesn’t even need to be much having some options is better than none. The after party includes both the guests and the couple. To only make it about one is inconsiderate to the guests or the couple. Alcohol is a different story, no reason to even have bought it up.
8:06 made me smile so much, just the confusion at why Ian was booing, and Anthony just translating and understanding him 🖤 Also Anthony's reactions to Ian's jokes, he has someone that understands him again and it's so nice to see Ian relax
59:24 I agree with Ian on companies nowadays wanting to hold their workers accountable and monitor their productivity every minute with technology. I work a factory job that monitors us with how much product we build to the point that they expect us to start working immediately after break/lunch is over. That's crazy. Shayne nailed it on the head: "Creating an environment of distrust is not going to create trust."
My mom actually had an alcohol free wedding and my grandmother secretly had an alternative reception in her backyard because according to my grandma “If you aren’t going to have alcohol at the wedding what are we even going to do?”. Me and my girlfriend are also planning to not serve alcohol at our wedding due to our beliefs and past alcohol related trauma, and my grandmother was genuinely frustrated when I told her this.
As an alcoholic I support u guys. It's the couple's day. If u can't be sober or stealth so no one notices, don't be there. And ask beforehand. Like I can be stealth sober. I get buzzed but it helps me regulate my emotions and sensory overload. I'm autistic. I need that or Valium. I need something to get through the crowd. But if I can't have that I won't be there. I would ask the couple before if I was OK to show up buzzed. When I'm buzzed I just get emotional and chatty, friendly. Sober I'm jumpy and scared, unsocial. It's the their decision if I show up but I'm not going sober. And I'm fine being not invited.
In some families alcphol abise is so normalised that having a single event without it is taken as a challenge to the family culture and fiercely resented
I love how Ian is so much more happy now that Anthony is back. He has seemed pretty miserable since he originally left especially after Defy. He has been all smiles since they bought it back and that makes me so happy.
I love how Shayne literally gets along w everyone (at least on camera) and everyone on here always gets along and can make it interesting but give different perspectives and personalities making it unique :)
the alternate reception one was so weird to me because… the family can’t not drink or eat meat for like few hours? a day at most? what’s wrong with them???
honestly makes me suspect that the extended family might have some notoriously rowdy alcoholics that the married couple is explicitly attempting to avoid enabling at their reception.
Hope Anthony continues his main channel alongside Smosh. The "I spent a day with" series is genuinely one of the most informative things on RUclips, opening your mind upto so many different kinds of people that you may or may not agree with, without any conflict is so refreshing, especially in today's state of the internet.
Yes! He has interviewed a lot of streamers I watch. It was so cool to learn about their lives. Then you have stuff like "I spent a day with furries" and you learn soooooo fucking much about a subject you may not have looked into alone. It's a beautiful series.
10:30 In Poland it is an actual tradition. We host a wedding reception and the next day we have a "poprawiny" - second day of reception. Prolonged party for every one to have a dinner and recover from hangover/get drunk again with all the family members. It is a great custom.
That first story hit me hard since my father's family tried to ruin my wedding by boycotting it, making me be out 1500 dollars since I paid per person for them to be there. Had me crying for an hour when I saw a third of my venue empty but my wedding was still beautiful and my stepdads family all showed up since I invited them. Guess it showed me who my real family was.
@iza2751 no I had to pay the venue per person. So I needed my head count before the price was finalized. I even told them that I needed to know if they were bringing their kids too so that way there would be enough for everyone. So they all said they were coming and then boycotted my wedding, making me be out that money since they were a third of my guest list
@gale4811 because I got into a disagreement with my father and grandmother, who I ended up banning from my wedding because they were trying to take it over without contributing monetarily (real zillas) and I had warned them to stop and they didn't. They were very aggressive about it to the point that they made me cry. They then went and told the rest of the family lies about the situation, saying I was the person being the aggressor, demanding a ton of money from them (my whole wedding was less than 9 grand because I was able to make a lot of stuff myself, including my wedding dress), so they all decided to say that they were going to come and then they didn't. In fact, my mom called one of my aunts because I was in the bridal suite crying for an hour during the reception and asked why nobody showed up. My aunt just yelled incoherently and everybody else in my father's side were posting pics of the stuff they were doing besides coming, making their captions very obvious jabs at me and how they didn't go to the wedding (stuff like "I'm so happy I didn't have anything IMPORTANT to go to today" etc). So I blocked every single one of them and still have not spoken to any of them to this day.

4th story: Her roommate needed her support, to fight the smell TOGETHER, and instead she made her an enemy thinking there'd be less of a smell if she just.. rolled around in a pool of partly dirty water?
I would have offered to help hose her down outside so she didn’t have to bring the smell inside. And then maybe loan her some nice smelling shower/bath stuff. Surely that would have been in everyone’s best interest.

Went to a dry wedding for a high school friend. Had fun catching up then me and a small group went for drinks at TGI Fridays afterwards, not during. It’s really not that hard to do one party without alcohol. I couldn’t even eat the food due to my dietary restrictions but I still enjoyed peoples company and didn’t have any complaints.
For real, if someone is “not comfortable” with a dry wedding, they’re a damn alcoholic. Take some Shots before, take some shots after, nobody cares. But you really can’t go just a few hours without drinking? 🤨

To be fair my boyfriend and I call each other bitch, slut, etc., but we always make sure to let the other know it just for fun.

I don't get how grown adults can be all "It has vegetables, why is it greeeen?:((". The alcohol thing is crazy too, imagine not being able to go like 1 day without drinking.
Fr and meat free proteins like tofu or mushrooms are so delicious when cooked properly. You can basically have any food you normally would with the amount of substitutes available now
Yes I had vegan BBQ the other day and holy hell it was delicious
I eat meat. I'm not huge about it but for health reasons. I love vegan food! I think vegans have gotten so creative with flavors. Plus vegetarian dishes just taste so good to me. I prefer veggie lasagna. I love roasted veggies. I love veggies and fruit raw too but my tummy doesn't take that
The no alcohol rule would just have me drinking beforehand.

I totally agree with the dry wedding. I don’t drink because I don’t like it and all sides of my family have problems with alcohol. Some of my family members get so drunk, they completely ruin events. Honestly amazing to see a Reddit stories video with both Shayne and Anthony, two of the most openly emotionally intelligent people in Smosh. And Ian‘s giggling and loud outbursts are the icing on the cake 😂
Anthony Is a vegan(and an obnoxious one at that). He's far from emotionally intelligent
Now it's obvious why Ian stopped being such a sad boy starting in videos from months ago. But hopefully he doesn't devolve fully into teenage Ian, the odd crass joke is good but too often and he'll be his own meme.

Last story about the camera in the woman's office has an UPDATE:
"There's no HR but the camera was removed thanks to IT.
Good on the IT guy.
The fact that there’s no HR is red flag.
I'm so sad she thought she was wrong and didn't realize it was just bad. Now she's so paranoid and so young.
Glad you got it resolved without having to face any backlash. Sad that this situation happened in the first place. A bit creepy that camera was from above though. Glad IT had your back. Thanks for the update.
No meams no. No matter what excuses people use just accept any no is a no and move on.

Yes!
Shayne is daddy #3. Him and Damien and Courtney are the other daddies.

I went to a vegetarian/dry wedding and it was a religious thing. Definitely not a big deal to skip alcohol and meat for a few hours 😂
While I do think they have to ensure the guests’ comfort, the wedding is still about the couple, not the guests.
I went to a house party my coworker threw that was dry. They had such good food I’ve never tried before, and one could swear that we were drunk with the shit we got up to.
They had a workout machine and we all competed to see who could do various things. My coworker taught us how to do the splits. Turns out my coworker was also revealing they’re having a girl.
I stayed for a couple hours (9 pm start, so all our coworkers could come. The store closes at 9.) it was pretty fun and was good without alcohol. Some people just don’t know how to have fun without alcohol, which is kinda sad
@@daanachmad4032 both can be true. It’s a day about the couple but the guests are still treated to a good time.

Guess it showed me who my real family was.
wait they demanded you pay them to attend the wedding???
@iza2751 no I had to pay the venue per person. So I needed my head count before the price was finalized. I even told them that I needed to know if they were bringing their kids too so that way there would be enough for everyone. So they all said they were coming and then boycotted my wedding, making me be out that money since they were a third of my guest list
It’s been 5 months so sorry but uh, why’d they boycott your wedding
So I blocked every single one of them and still have not spoken to any of them to this day.

i hope every video for the next 5 years starts with “hey guys we bought smosh and anthony is back in case you didn’t hear”
that would be hilarious
Lol right
And then end it with the classic SHUT UP intro ❤
I've only recently heard the entire story of Smosh. Congrats to Ian and Anthony for reclaiming their internet baby together, such a beautiful story!
Could you please retell it?
Spill the tea for the rest of us please
we need a video where Anthony watches a compilation of all the "where is Anthony" jokes
omg yes. I wish the reveal was before the buying Smosh announcement and it was just a regular video but suddenly Anthony walk in and Shayne freaks out.
how does it feel to have your dream come true
It came true😂
This is magic - 4 videos in, and already Ian is a completely different person. way more relaxed, and much more natural with himself.
He looks and sounds the same to me, I think people are exaggerating, he and Anthony reunited 1 year ago so he sounds the same , he sounded like 1 year ago , yes some years ago he was a depressed mess , but he have been good at least for an year
The way Ian and Anthony are so in sync at 8:55 and even on the next shot is surreal classic smosh
Wait…. Ian and Anthony aren’t five feet apart 😳
That's because they are gay
But they're not in a hot tub 😢
2 bros
Chillin in a hot tubb
I get it 😂😂
They’re comfortable in their masculinity… jk jk 😳
You guys always keep your content entertaining without being disrespectful and I can’t say the same for a ton of content creators. I also love how open-minded Anthony is to gather multiple perspectives from different kinds of people. I only wish I watched more of you guys growing up.
