Monkey, I'm gonna tell ya right now, only vehicle I got is my Harley. No car, no boat, no RV...I still watch all these videos. lol You're entertaining AF.
That is a sweet power pack right there. I have a few small solar power packs and I keep one in the bike and I bought a Marbero 200W/148Wh power pack to take camping with me and a buddy because like you, I also use a CPAP and it ran my CPAP all night long as well as charged my phone and my Sena headset and still had about half its juice left. Now I keep it handy around the house for when power goes out. Just used it to run our Invisible Fence for the dogs the other day when we lost power
this got me thinking about my detached garage where i have led lights, stereo, and a 4 bank battery tender for my 3 bikes. im going to consider a solar option instead of having to upgrade service to the house, to run a line to the garage.
Very timely post. I've been researching these things from different manufacturers and kind of zeroed in on Anker. Seeing you endorse it has pushed me over the edge. thanks.
As an RV owner I suggest installing a mini split a/c system instead of the standard RV a/c. It’s made a world of difference on quality of life in the 36 foot I have. The next one will be a ducted system to connect to my old system and reach the whole of the RV easier. Over all the noise difference is well worth the change.
Thanks! How do you keep thieves from taking it in the night if you rrv is plugged into it outside? Got a method? I am deciding between this unit and building the system with components inside the RV for much less money and more capacity, BUT.- Plug and play much easier, but I cant carry that Anker in and out of the RV. If I just leave it inside, then extension cords everywhere. Wonder if it could be wired into the RV from inside by an electrician. Hmmm, dunno.
Hey, thanks for the video! I'll admit that the Anker is so cool! They also have expandable batteries also! That's awesome that it can run your microwave AND air conditioner at the same time with no soft-start! That's really awesome! I really enjoyed the video, and I appreciate you!
Of course. I'm gonna get Delta pro ultra. I'm gonna get 3 of them. Get all the batteries and put that in my R. V which is 90 kW, / 21000 W of electricity output. So I don't think 2 of those would be add up to. Two of the delta pro ultras which is still only twelve thousand watts with adult two delta pro ultra's is fourteen thousand twenty one or four and it watts
0:39 I just got back from a ride on the bike in the dark. Was about 38°F, raining with a little snow mixed in. Supposed to snow tonight and tomorrow. Had to run a quick errand, my truck is in the shop getting hail-damage repaired (been waiting since last summer for the appointment to arrive), and the wife is at a friend’s house playing cards so her car wasn’t available. Gotta do what I gotta do. Been working on convincing the Mrs that we should move to Arizona. She’s warming up to it (no pun intended). All this to say I don’t mind you gushing about Florida winter weather… it just strengthens my resolve to move to a warmer climate. I’ll put up with the blazing heat of summer to get that nicer weather much of the rest of the year. Edited to add: that power unit is pretty bad-ass. Expensive as hell, but bad-ass. I could definitely see having one in an area where power outages are frequent, and for all the other reasons you mentioned. But I couldn’t justify getting one currently. I’ve been in my house over 23 years, and in that time I think I’ve only ever had maybe 4 or 5 power outages, all of them only a few hours each.
Nice I'm not an RV er but if my power goes out and has would be nice to have ability to charge phones , and flashlights use computers and even brew coffee in the dark so tks for the show
FYI if your power goes out and you have cable you're not going to get TV the cable lines outside feed off of electric power. Ask me how I know 😆 lmao. With that unit if you have a 30 amp plug in your home get an extension cord with dual male ends turn off your main breaker to the house plug it in and backfeed to your house but again make sure your main 220 breakers from outside are turned off so when the power comes back on you don't burn your house down
I have gotten to the point of watching videos on the channel that I can tell when the video was made by which parts are installed on bikes lol...saw mrs bike still had chrome tips and was like hey those were changed in the last video lmao. Oh man im one of those people now (I blame KC winter lol)
Brother I moved down from KY in 2000 and never looked back. love the weather and the all year riding season. Gotta love it in Florida. Hey that Anker will run that C PAP for days....its a great Power bank. That sum bitch impressed me.
I told Adam, id love to see Adam Sandoval and Shadetree Surgeon do a cross-country road trip on "vintage" HDs as a fund raiser for their perspective fav charity. You have a Tour Glide, Shadetree has one, I'm sure Adam can find a bike to do it on. A group of you should team up and do it! I'd through each of you a couple of bills just to see the crazy shenanigans you guys would have! 😂 God bless, be safe!
I have been looking at this unit, I really liked this video it was very helpfully. planning converting my cargo trailer into a toy hauler camper for rallies and stuff i think this would work great with solar for that.
If your rv dosnt have it may want to look at putting soft start on the ac units it will help with power consumption on startup of them when running off of those things
That is nice, I see you have the Anker 767 (F2000) to. I have a Thor Sanctuary 19P and cannot get it to power the RV. The Southwire Auto Transfer Switch says it is reversed power. I reached out to Anker and they said it was the RV. Thor of course said it was Anker. I checked the Anker 767 with a receptable tester and it says hot and ground reversed but when the Anker is plugged into the wall, it says correct wired, so Anker said it is the RV. I don't care, as long as it works. Thor said it may need a bonding neutral plug, tried both a Watchdog and Southwire, neither worked. The Anker 767 just said 60hz and clicked off. I tried both the 30A and 110v plug into the RV, it would not power the van. I got the reversed on my panel and the Southwire Auto Switch says reversed polarity. If anyone has had that issue and knows how to solve it, I would gladly appreciate it. I know I'm not the only one that have experience that. While the Anker F3800 is nice, $4000 is a little too much for me. Thanks
❤ first question who makes your RV. Wife and I are thinking about living out of one full time. And I know in a video you probably mention who made a little generator how do you say I didn't catch it could you let me know
@proffessional monkey you should talk to anchor and see if there is a way to daisy chain the two units you have. I went over the top on our rv and put 3800 and some change of solar with 1200 amp hours of batteries. We boondock and our limiting factor is the tanks not the power but we are able to run two ac’s residential fridge computers tv”s and all the normal day to day stuff. We recently were at the Tampa rv show and boondocked for 5 days with minimal sun and me getting drunk and running the space heater and fire place all night.😂 badlands is now doable.
That thing screams for solar panels and add-on batteries. Let it solar charge all day at the campground and have power all night. Since I'm being forced into the "Fat Guy Breathing Machine" club, coming up with a back-up power source is suddenly a major concern. This might be too much for just that, but a 50Amp outlet can run a lot more than just a CPAP machine around our place. I might be in the market.
That you can't use during a storm unless you build something for it to go in and vent out which majority don't. You can't have it in the house and once your out if gas then what?
I just got one and am having challenges with it. Most of the time it will not engage my transfer switch in my RV without tripping. The only way I can get it to engage is by having it in the EV mode. But in EV mode, it won’t run my air conditioner. I was able to get it to engage 1 time in regular mode, but when the AC switched from blowing cold air to just doing fan, it tripped and now I can’t get it to engage again. Did you have any of these issues? Would love to hear any way to get it to work like it works for you. Appreciate any advice from your own experiences. Thanks in advance!
does pre production mean that Anker gave you the generator?? Tattoos, beard, Harley looks legit. But when a Chinese battery company gives you a freak 5k generator to sell for them, hmmm. yeah these things are cool, especially the Ecoflow Ultra, but in reality you need a gas, diesel, or propane generator for any long term needs...more than a day a two. Get a duel fuel, run it on propane, and you won't have the problem of gas sitting for a long time. Imagine, you buy a predator, Westinghouse, or champion 12500 duel fuel for 1500 max. Done. These power stations are just a shiny object. Good for Van Life, I own two Ecoflows, but they are not serious for home backup.
@@ProfessionalMonkey cracking open a cold beer and having a motor start successfully on the first try when you and your buddies rebuilt it last night while you were drunk.
Would have liked this video much more if you had actually used the power station in a camping scenario versus just hooking the camper up while it was in storage.
Works great here on NY.
Monkey, I'm gonna tell ya right now, only vehicle I got is my Harley. No car, no boat, no RV...I still watch all these videos. lol You're entertaining AF.
Thank you!
I just wanted to let you know that if you use an ResMed AirSense CPAP they have an adapter to hook up to a 12v battery.
We lost power for a week after Irma. And 3 weeks in 03 after Charlie, Jean and Francis. Could've used that. Lol. Or a gas genny.
HOLY CRAP MONKEY!!!! 4 GRAND for that!!!! WOW that is insane I mean I get the point but MAN that price tag is a kick in the nutz!
Absolutely. It’s all the money, but it’s pretty freaking serious stuff. The add on pack is even more.

I have your really cool, -19 at 0700 this morning. Coldest it's been in 16 years. New record again. I have 105.2 inches of snow, record for ever!
You will really enjoy having this at rallies.
Next up are solar panels for the roof. They make and sell 500 Watt panels...

I think about 4 hours

Unfortunately no. It’s too close to Daytona for me.

You paid $4000 for that? Yikes!! You could get a whole home generator for that money!
That you can't use during a storm unless you build something for it to go in and vent out which majority don't. You can't have it in the house and once your out if gas then what?
You and shadetree surgeon (on RUclips) have the same ‘80’s tour glide….his might be an 82. Same color though
His is that cool cream color.
It looked like there was an input for solar. A couple of solar panels to offset the draw?
ah the Anker stuff is fantastic
Yeah that’s cool. The price isn’t but that is cool
Any thoughts on solar panels for a recharge when doing extended Boone docking ?
Whered you get the light bar for the ST?? I can only find them for Dynas.
Toys!
That was a most awesome review of a great new product. Thanks Monkey.
My pleasure!
This is ok for a temp power solution UNLESS you have solar panels to keep it charged.
What if you piggy back the smaller battery into the new bigger one
I don’t know if you can?
Good unit from Anker but the Delta Pro Ultra is better with more output.
Its also way more money
I live in a mobile home park. Looking for an inverter/generator that is really quiet.
Not cheap UK version well exactly the same as that but rate for UK electric nearly £4000
Awesome unit. Can you charge it while you are towing the RV?
If you ran the generator you could!
@@ProfessionalMonkey or if you mount a solar panel to the roof of the RV for charging while it is towed, correct?
That is really impressive. However, I think it would be better if it was in my garage :)
Entertaining and informative!

I didn’t have these troubles. I don’t have EV mode???
That’s how you use the Anker to charge an electric vehicle. I haven’t tried charging an EV to see if it works.
It’s a converter not an inverter unless you have a solar system.
100%
