It’s so easy to ruin the sound but if you do it right with resonators they sound great. I love my G37 Coupe especially the reliability of it.

true, I hear so many raspy ones. I've had my G37 coupe for like a decade now, and it's been soooo reliable. Legit not a single problem (that I didn't cause myself 😂). I have the Invidia Gemini exhaust, which has been solid IMO - not too loud, not raspy at all

@ajmarion I also have the invidia gemini (catback) and I think it's sounds so good. Much more mature and yet a lot more grunt over stock sport exhaust. I don't regret the change whatsoever. 💯

I had a Malbec Black G37 IPL 6MT. It was a gentleman's express. Nothing crazy. Stunning when clean. If you didn't beat it like a ghetto scatpack, no reason to believe it wouldn't last a decent amount of time.

It sounds good. People just cheap out and get straight pipes no cats and all..
Save a little get yourself a quality exhaust (developed with sound engineers which contributes to the cost).
Have a q50 3.7 with an ark catback and motordyne test pipes. Sounds absolutely great 6 years later. Still get compliments on the exhaust
The vq37hr came out in 2009. Let’s not forget about the vq35hr now.

What I thought too but G 37 says they started making in 06 and released as 07s on google which is weird but who knows
I got my 09 sedan as a first car at 19 back in 2022 and it’s a good reliable first car and did a few mods on it so far and recently I got me a isr single exit exhaust
You get the right exhaust and it sounds pretty good but it easy to get wrong. Manual Transmission makes it a lot easier
EX37 is also a perfectly acceptable daily if you find a well-sorted example, highly practical and not far behind on performance
I supercharged my G37, it almost killed me. I lost all respect for how fast it was. It was a safe vehicle, beautiful and the nicest car I’ve ever owned.
How much power were you making supercharged. What happened in your accident?

My daughter drives my old one, super reliable. 130k miles and only a wheel bearing replaced. I beat on it every day for nearly a decade too.

I daily my 08 G37s coupe 6mt 4was. I love the car. Winter can be a little challenging at times. Anything over 5 or 6 inches it ain't moving even with snow tires. My wife thinks I'm crazy for keeping it and struggling with a car seat but I'm never selling it. Some day it'll be my son's car. It's a rare car with a 6mt and 4 wheel steering. Not sure that it'll ever be a big money car but it'll be mine. Nothing better than a car you love and you own outright.
Love mine. Convertible I am fixing up. Project car. Still lots to do. But I’m hella excited

g35 is their best, g37 is essentially the same car upgraded with different styling, q60 is a nice car but nothing that special like the original g35 that was kicking bmws ass

Got caught in a snowstorm in my g35 over the weekend and my windshield wipers were not wiping. Was not ideal to say the least
I got caught in a rainstorm with tinted headlights and tinted windshield. Couldn't even see the road in front of me. While also the cold ass water was fogging up the windshield 😭 i swear the car that slowed down and let me follow their taillights was a guardian angel bc I would have never made it home . Louisiana back roads are lethal

Qs and Gs are still somehow underrated
It's because they are overshadowed by the amount of people that take em to takeovers and straight pipe em. They don't sound bad with a good exhaust setup and like he said good power from factory. I had a g35 my only complaint was my oil leak issues but even with that the car had 235k miles on it and still ran strong on the OG motor, really underrated indeed
Also wood take 1 if someone doesn't want it but not over other just basic old Nissans 😅
If you get a proper exhaust system it sounds excellent
this is like the g35 but with a better reputation and a 4wd sedan variant, which i totally dig.

Personally I will tell anyone that’s looking into a g to just get an m instead, mine comes with a v8 from the factory, makes 420hp and yeah there is nowhere near as much aftermarket support but you can still make them look good, mine is a good example, it’s bone stock and it’s beautiful.
Forgot to mention I got this car with 100k miles for 15k

Great manual transmission* the auto in those the 370 and the q50s with the 3.7 are trash you get to 350 wheel and they just stop working or 3rd gear won’t shift which ever comes first. It’s like it’s intended to have only a manual 😏
Ive owned 11 infiniti Gs and sadly where i live the reps been wrecked from people acting like idiots in them. Its now over $400/month to insure one with only collision coverage ($500+ for a Q) I used to pay around $300. To put in perspective, my 2022 Veloster N was $320/month with full coverage (brand new car not a 10 year old infiniti) its a shame what takeovers have done, wrecked the scene

I got my first G37S coupe in 2022 at 19 for a first car it was loaded not just with options it already had aftermarket wheels which were huge 20’s all around 245 up front and 275 in the rear had intakes and also 2 big JL studio subs in the trunk with a bass controller hooked up it was Black pretty much exactly what I wanted I ended up getting it the next day after a few months got a ISR exhaust which sounded phenomenal then my engine blew out of no where got a new one with a ported manifold then got new wheels sized down to 19’s and widened the rears to 285’s then got in to wreck 2weeks after putting them on in July 2023 and then exactly a month later from the day of my wreck I got another G37 but I upgraded from a sport to an IPL in that graphite silver color she’s bone stock still atm but imma get her back where my other one was soon

I use to own a g35s and g37, now im in m37s because some asian dude pulled in front of my other m37 a few months back. I recommend these cars to new drivers or any driver upgrading from other older weak cars.
Next car willl definitely be different. Just to experience different vehicle handling and hp. Im not sure if i should even mention the car😆 thats always a bad idea
Do yourself a favor and don’t run 225f 245r unless you want your G to look like a fat guy with skinny legs. Flush fitment is usually around +25mm front +30 rear spaced. Alex is listing off the stock 19” tucked in fitment that no G owner likes although it’s an upgrade if you’re on stock 17 or 18s. You can dial in the 18s to match the 19 fitment as well but make sure you look for 10” wide front and 10.5 rear or no smaller than 8/8.5 with spacers
