- A quick list I put together on common issues with the G37 and the 3.7 chassis in general. If I missed anything, feel free to comment below to help someone else out!
Just to save you for the time of this video.
Make sure you do the gallery gaskets on the car. Super important.
Don’t muffler delete it like a bozo get a real exhaust.
Do your regular maintenance like every other car.
The car is a picky car so OEM fluids for other services, oil is oil so synthetic works.
Yup
Where did you get those taillights?
Look the only reason why you get these issues is because you bought it used with so many negligent previous owners.
Yeah okayyyyyyy bud 👍🏾
@@iAlan7he right cause my 2013 vert doesn't click! And the body has 252k on it!
What a beautiful looking car. When I was younger, I had the predecessor of this car. The G35 coupe, 2003 model year. It was rear-ended in 2019 when it was parked in the street, and it was totaled by the drunk driver that hit it. So sad. Replaced it with a 2008 Lexus IS250 which is also very nice, but it still sucks that the accident happened.
nice wheel fitment, Big fan of OEM premium fitments. yours looks perfect
You should put one of those Tesla screens in there
Simple and clean, dope build so far looks good
I have a 2010 G37S Convertible with 45k miles and 6 spd manua6 transmission. I'm the second oper snd got her at 8k miles and 1 year old. The car is garage kept and well maintained. I haven't experienced anything on your list, but i am aware of them and wi6 deal with the6 when the time comes. I have had melting and later cracking on stress points on the dash, passenger side occupancy sensor fail, and cruise control brake sensor fail and replaced. Addressing the dash is next on my list since thats an eye sore.
If you live in an area that uses salt in the winter make sure to check the rear subframe if it’s been winter driven, it’s a common rust area and tends to rot easily
All cars have its own known issues that occur over time but can be caught when doing regular maintenance.
Your G looks hella clean bruh 👌🏼💯
I fw the color. Clean G
Thanks man!
Yup regreasing will get the click sound away.
Another silly little thing is the INFINITI emblem on the engine cover will eventually fall off. It is a little bit annoying.
Thanks for confirming! And yeah I forgot all about that 😂😂😂
who customized your tails?
They're fine if you bought them new from a dealer, not so much if you buy them used from some punk that drove it like he stole it all day long.
I have the car the 2012 g37base and now the 2013 g37x car is always just incredible in every way tune it make it how you want it to be wish it was roomy and if you can’t afford 91 octane then no but loads of compliments on mine completely stock parts coming chrome delete blackout and performance 🥳
Water running from the sunroof into the cabin is a problem that happens to any car with a sunroof, especially with Honda.
It is a nice car but the people who drive them at least in CT drive like a-holes the memes about this cars first owner vs it's third are spot on
Yo I need another 37coupe for real yours is 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I have axel click on my g35 lol didnt know the 37 had them too
Yessir. I think it may just be a Nissan problem lol
All cars on the FM platform got this sadly
Can you take this problem with the axle click and have the dealer fix it?
Where did you get your taillights? Your G is 🔥
And some sensors you missed
Good point! Luckily I haven’t had any go bad yet
Mehn them rims is sum pressure!
Where did you get that black trim that goes on top of the silver parts in the inside
It’s just a vinyl wrap. Not sure which one it is because it came with the car. It looks like some sort of brushed finish though
Nice ride and. Color
Does it have aux or nah?
color code??
Beautiful car
I have a little over 100k miles on my 2013 coupe and no gallery gasket issue or any other types described in this video. Problems occur when you don't take care of the car like so many other youngsters.
Very true, but as these cars age then some of the components will deteriorate over time without warning. Be sure to double check that heater core hose though for sure
2013 don't have the gallery gasket issue! That's the previous years
Nice video but I would explain the issues why for the smooth brains that wanna buy this car 😂
Mannnn😂😂
What taillights🥶
@4:01 what’s a weep hole ? And where is it located
It’s a small hole near the water pump. It’s to let liquid through in case there’s a leak
wheel and tire specs? This looks so nice
Thanks man. They are stock 2014 Nissan 370z wheels (all rear wheels, not staggered). I have 15mm spacers all around with about -3 of camber all around
Where you get the tail lights ?
Check out my other video. I made them
Can confirm the clutch slave cylinder. Happened to my 2010 at about 50k.
Mine is garage-kept and sub-100k, and the dash is cracking like crazy.
Great build!
Thanks man. I bought the car at 78k. The previous owner said the car was on the original clutch & slave. It’s at 132k now and I haven’t changed anything. I’m not hard on the car frequently, but one time I did get on it a little bit, and I noticed the clutch starting to stick. It only stuck for a half second that one time. Other than that, no issues.
As far as the dash goes, it’s a known issue, but I think they may have fixed those on the 2013+ models. Mine isn’t garage kept and still looks brand new
@@iAlan7 Right on. You got yourself a great ride. 🤌🏻
First and only thing to look for, don’t buy a g37
It’s ok.. it’s because you’re geeyy
Why do you say that?
What do you drive 😂
@@iAlan7 he’s afraid to do maintenance lol
@@417x11that’s what it sounds like tbh
