@@classicaudiobookswithelliothooray, super excited for more stories!!!!!!!! I've been telling everyone to listen to your channel, you are the BEST storyteller of all 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🎶
Hans Christian Andersen's stories were my favourite growing up. Your voice is just so soothing, I can't help but play your audio story telling videos at night before going to bed and dwelve into childhood again... Thank you very much! You're doing really great! I have by far listened to Thumbalina, The Ugly Duckling, Robinhood, The little mermaid, Red shoes, The Snow Queen in your voice. Awesome vocalisms! Can you please make a video on the story 'The Fir Tree' and 'The Princess and the Pea' next ? ..
Hi Anushka, so glad you’re enjoying the stories. I will certainly take a look at “The Fir Tree”. Good news about “The Princess & the Pea” though as it’s already on the channel! Give it a listen 😉 🎧
@@classicaudiobookswithelliot Hey, that's great! 😄 Oh, but I just noticed that the "Save to" option for the Princess and the Pea video is turned off. I'm not able to add that video into my playlist ☹️..
Beautifully read, such a feeling of nostalgia and longing for my childhood. I’d love to hear you read the farthest away mountain but probably too long. Many thanks from a new sub!
Many thanks for the kind words, it’s really appreciated. I wouldn’t be able to tackle that title as it was released in 1976 and so not public domain, I’m afraid. But let me know if you have any others in mind!
It's interesting to see and hear where Disney got the inspiration for Frozen. Although I like this original story, I do like it better with Anna and Elsa in Disney's version, and Elsa is much nicer than the original Snow Queen. And Elsa has her sister Anna instead of Kai and Gerta.
Yes i had originally planned to read the story on this site as i at the time just recently discovered the site, and was so shocked to see they had all kinds of books; old and new there. But sadly i just cant get in the swing of reading it, so i decided to take a quicker route and found this audiobook for it. I have no regrets. 🎉

This story seems to be more of an inspiration to The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe (as far as the white queen is concerned anyway!)
Where can I read the exact version of this as we hear it?
Ooo… I’m not entirely certain where I uncovered this one. But Project Gutenberg is a great place to start!
