One thing that I would do differently and in fact i did reroll and do that is not using the 80 roll guarantee banner and instead using those pulls on the weapon banner
Handy video to pop up for me after I went to max pity TWICE to get Yinlin.... Never thought I'd ever even consider rerolling an account that is already level 38 with a complete Data Bank... But I don't think I've been this salty, seeing all those bonuses and all that grinding go completely down the drain for a single copy of a character is kind of crushing.

I have 37lvl account and wanted to reroll just to pull few times. That reroll account got Yinlin from first 10 pull, 25 pulls to weapon banner gave me 2 of her weapons so i got encore and yinlin with the weapons. Now im wondering if i just dump the old account and keep playing this one.
I've heard people say that the shop will reset by patch so I don't think it was just a one-off purchase, in case that influences your decision. I guess we'll see
i kinda get what you are saying and wouldnt completely disagree. but let me say, you could have leveled 2-3 teams already exactly because of echo xp being the only real bottleneck right now. and since you can share your echo sets between all the teams (for tower), you would experience the same wall right now but with more characters leveld and more fun had (atleast in my case, diversity is enjoyment)
I rerolled but i play on all 3 accounts, just because i have so much free time at the moment i don't play other games. I usually end up finishing everything and i'm also F2P so having multiple accounts let me test out different team and characters.

Echo isn't too bad atleast on my main. my 2nd is getting there. 3rd i play off and on since i kinda gave up on calcharo even though i got yinlin and her weapon in 90 pulls on that account. But yeah farming level 1 and 3 echoes are the worse, but i do it everyday and always end up hitting the specific mob limit a day.
i would not use asterite to get to UL 40 and dont farm tacet until data bank 15 and UL 40 also save most of your crystal solvent for when you actually UL 40+, echoes is easily farmable so farm boss mats or character and weapon mats instead , when you UL40 you can farm more echoes exp and boss mats, the little echoes exp you get randomly is enough for your dps that is if you didnt waste them on purple gear
My biggest mistake was trying to build everyone. A ton of these characters are just really fun to play. So I rerolled, and ended up dong the same thing lol. Now I kind of wonder if making a third account where you only use the characters you get for free would be fun for a while.
Everything checks out except for the selector. Don't get a dupe guys wait for 9-10 months and see what 5-star you're missing and get that. we all know it's just a matter of time, and you can build all the characters you want. (Advice from a 4 year genshin player that still doesn't have a Diluc and Mona on his account)

Then I had to go all the way to 72 pity on Jiyan's banner, only to lose the 50/50 and get a 2nd Lingyang. I just said screw it after that and made a new account. Got Calcharo on the discounted banner, won the 50/50 on Jiyan and got Jiyan's weapon on 31 pity. I decided to switch to this new account as my main, even though it was about a week behind my original account, and yet I was able to get all the way to UL35 already. It's not too late to reroll if you really want to. I say if you want to try, don't be scared of being left behind.
I wouldn't recommend powering through, getting max in everything "as fast as possible". Combat is gonna feel boring when you're overgeared, you won't enjoy exploration, and you'll quickly run out of things to do, wondering when the fun begins and the chores end. Also, spending 600 astrites, aka nearly 4 pulls A DAY on refreshes? Have you lost it? Ain't no way that it is worth it. You're not getting to 40 meaningfully faster doing that. If you so desperately want to get to 40, do all the quests, don't spend premium currency. Worst advice you have ever given unfortunately. If you're gonna be playing the game for months, a day worth of waveplates is nothing.
Exploration shouldn’t be a challenge anyway. Why wouldn’t you want to be able to one shot the overworld? There’s plenty of more difficult content to challenge even with gear
@@whoizrez Because overworld combat is part of the game? If you can enjoy oneshotting everything, and think that's good combat, cool. It isn't for me. The majority of my time is going to b spent in the open world game as advertised, not in boss fights.

Considering you need 3 teams to get through the ToA, it's good that we already have at least one team built going into it just from doing the story. After that, we're still going to need more and better characters to do the rest. So throwing the players a bone from the get go is really something of a necessity.
I think and did exactly opposite. I wanted to test for myself all characters. So I level them all up and with their most dmg traces upgraded. The character I tough I will never play Chixia actually become my fav to play character... she is just better than other dps in overworld ofc this works after your main dps is maxed I have a Havoc and ER set + Fusion /cos I got encoure/. every character outside of main dps uses Moonlight /er/ set with only 3 echoes are different. all echoes are at lv 20. so I cleared hazardous tower with 8 stars full f2p for the moment. grindnig tacet fields is a horrible idea pre UL 40 cos you get 50% less tuners.
I have a reroll account with Calcharo x2 (lost an early pity for Jiyan) and a guarantee for YinLin. Seriously considering using that account instead of my main (UL 35 and Jiyan, but no Mortefi or decent weapon for him). Early union levels are easy to get.
My best reroll so far has been (before getting to level 5) 2xJiyan, 1 Jianxin, 1 Calchro (from the ticket) , 1 Verina... and I still got my garanteed star in up to 80 pulls (which will be Jianxin).

Im 38 rn and do 120 astrite refreshes a day but want to save because i have ptsd from previous 50/50 gacha but i feel like stuck atm in a purgatory to 40. after 40 is the game the same pre 40 or is it really needed to rush to 40 just to be put into another hurry up and wait situation
Got Calcharo on the 50 banner. Missed the 50/50 on the event banner after 70+ pulls but got Calcharo again. I had to make 68ish pulls after that to get Jiyan. Then I just above 70 pulls went to getting the Lustrous Razer. I've gotten nothing earlier but I did get Calcharo so even if I blew a lot of pulls.. I'm not rerolling. Yinlin would be nice but who knows??
i dont recomend getting dupes getting a better roster is better unless u really only want to play 1 team and 1 team only but hey why are u in a min max vid?

What I learned: Main character is NOT a big ol' bag o' smacked a$$
If you use same element dps, they can borrow each other echo so it cheaper like chixia and encore, havok mc and danjin etc for tower.
Healer too can borrow
Early game it's better to use 2 different elemets. Some enemies have resistance

I would save all my limited pulls. Got an early pity jiyan (who's strong if i build him) but i went and built jianxin dps and she's actually awesome.

Use blue stacks. You can play 3 accounts at the same time to reroll

Most definitely agree with this. I only take this course of action in prep for future characters though. 1.1 heroes are insane!
