1. Seems like those with very high ping (200+) are having trouble getting her full combo out (3 normal attacks into skill, done 6 times, they are only able to get 5). That is sad. Hopefully it is fixed soon. Make sure to test for yourself before pulling to make sure you won't have the issue or that you're ok with it. 2. It may be obvious to some but you don't have to press normal attack to get out the 3, you can just hold it instead and continue holding it while also pressing her skill to do her combo. This makes it easier. 3. I tested her with mariachusse hunter (I happen to have a set with lots of EM and very little crit rate) and on my Furina teams it outperformed my BOL and TF sets. Try it out if you got lucky! Also you can use Glad for now if you don’t have other sets. 4. A lot of people aren’t satisfied with her uptime. Which I did talk about a fair bit, but make sure you test her substantially in the trial to be okay with it. It definitely is weird to play a character with short uptime, but with tight rotations your overall damage is still very good. She definitely feels like a “good” dps, around the level of everyone but neuvillette and Arlecchino. But personal satisfaction trumps all, so make sure you like how she plays before pulling! And obviously using TF helps
I pulled her a few minutes after release, have been trying her in spiral abyss, her uptime is irritating sure, but you can play her rlly well with arle, so, arle E, clorinde e, spam na until out of electro, then spam out your arle attacks
@@Syl-BS wouldn't using Clorinde and Arlecchino on the same team be a waste of one's DPS potential? Arlecchino is quite possibly the best DPS in the game, behind Neuvillette. Using both Clorinde and Arlecchino as DPS on the same team seems like DPS loss for both of them. Of course, you do you. If you like that team, you will make it work. I'm just making an observation, that's all.

I was not interested in Clorinde at all, but then the trial. OMG, it was so FUN. I played it several times and then got my daughter, who also played a few times. 😅
I thought her uptime felt annoyingly short at first, and it still kinda does FEEL that way, but in practice if you burst every rotation and use other characters with long burst animations like Nahida it actually lines up fine. Otherwise I'm satisfied with her, I was always going to pull her for her style, aesthetic, and character and she's certainly "good enough".

I mean with c6 sara and c6 chev, of course is going to be very strong, maybe even thoma c6 who also buffs NAs, yhea that's 3 c6 supports, i think right now it is more difficult to c6 a 4* than getting 2 different 5* c0 supports
No one seems to be pointing this out so I'll share the info. The current abyss blessing (June 1st - 16th) gives 16% DMG bonus (All types) every time your character's HP increases/decreases with a maximum of 3 stacks (48% Max). So, whatever DMG you see in the abyss right now is going to be way higher than it should be if you have some form of healing or run Furina in you teams. TLDR; DMG in Abyss is higher than it should be.
im confused how baizhu has "little synergy" when he provides enough dendro for aggravate, and much needed Interuption resist alongside it...hes the best option as a flex in a furina team too for comfort especially

As someone who sits somewhere between the casual and meta players and only put 2 weeks into farming her set, Clorinde is easily one of my best dps. She was extremely easy to build and is very fun to play.

Who is sick of Furina?? People literally complain to much she’s the best character we’ve gotten in many ways and definitely the best support. the yae miko furina nahida carry combo makes clorinde's team really fun gotta be a bit more careful setting up the other characters because 0 heals but still, really nice
I understand that she's Electro but she has some *very* similar teams compared to Alhaitham so I would have loved to hear a bit more detail on how you felt about the two of their Quickbloom teams and the pros and cons of Alhaitham's Spread team vs. Clorinde's Aggravate team. @@theguardintemriel quick bloom is definitely the easier team to build. Harbinger of Dawn is usable, Kuki and Xingqiu are 4 stars that don't need cons, and you just need nahida. You don't need good artifacts like spread demands.
People be complaining about her uptime, but it's still longer than Raiden...and no one complains about Raiden uptime. Only reason people are complaining is because beta had it longer. This is why leaks suck for actual discourse, as people just focus on "what could've been"

honestly this is such a stupid problem to have but the only reason I'm not pulling for her is because i already have every single 5 star electro and while more is cool, there's just no synergy between them which kinda sucks, they all generally have the same role so the value you get out of them is from having 1 or maybe 2, not 5
Unrelated but Thoma is one of the more underrated Characters. He works well with many good characters like Arlecchino, Clorinde, Wanderer. And in Chevreuse teams as well as shielder and pyro applier (burst). Have him really often in teams since I pulled Wanderer
Long Dong Daddy Zhong on top Layla has the second best shield, but limited by bennet melt comp (Arlecchino havers rejoice) Kirara if the team is dendro aggravate Thoma if the team is dendro burgeon Diona only if you need heals + shield
Could the faster coppelius runs be because the high pyro application of overload+chlorindes ousia attack destroy the shield faster than most other teams?
Madam Button-Popper finally came home after I lost the 50/50 to Diluc... It took getting to 77 pity (started at 23) to trip over Diluc, and another 54 pulls to get Clorinde. My C3 Thoma has made it to C6, and Sethos turned up and has made it all the way to C5, but unfortunately my C8 Benny has picked up a few copies and is now C13 😫 So far I've only tried her in one team, Cloreuse Overload, with Clorinde, Chevreuse, Thoma, and Raiden (might try Sara instead though).
I made this team for Clorinde. Clorinde, Ei, Kazuha and then a dendro character. I use Ei when Clorinde’s skill has ended and she has a 7-5 second coldown so Ei can to a quick burst. What you think is it bad or is it good enough. Personally I like that team

I have c2r1 Raiden & I can say without a doubt Clorinde is a baddie & totally worth the pull. They’re 2 totally completely different play styles. Clo is super satisfying to play. I’m running Clo, Furina, Navia & Bird Mommy… the fun is more than Raiden would/could ever let me have
So I know you by default compare based on C0 but any thoughts on how a C1 or C2 Raiden would compare with C0 Clorinde since Raiden fans are likely to have constellations?
I kinda prefer beidou over fichl due to comfort it also provides shield for comfort.. I really build her with favonious and emblem severed fate for better ER consistency..
IMO, Clorinde does better in Chevreuse overload teams than Raiden because Clorinde can actually chase after enemies getting blown away by overload without spending stamina. She can also utilize Chevy's C6 stacks better since her damage is more dispersed throughout her rotation instead of one big ult nuke at the start. That being said, I don't have Thoma built so I'd rather keep her in aggravate/quickbloom teams where my account has more defensive utility options.
11:18 I managed to get a 22 second clear with Hu Tao, Yelan, Furina and Xianyun. Hu Tao just destroyed the cryo shield (before I used Furina’s oisia damage to remove it, but Hu Tao can do it faster).
@@PSFlow97 The best use of damage for Clorinde is the N3E combo but that is so clunky to use plus she gets interrupted easily which would drastically reduce her damage. I don't like characters that are so dependent on a shielder to work.
Personally, imo, yae is just better. I would also heavily disagree about yae being worse in AoE. She thrives in it. Her ult has a very sizable AoE and her turrets can proc alot more aggravates in AoE. Meanwhile clorindes AoE is just... ok (?). Saying clorinde have AoE is pretty much saying Hutao CAs have AoE. Linear AoE is just not it unless it has a hitbox like Neuvillette and u can move. In many scenarios i find my clorinde missing enemies who just happens to be on the side of her hitboxes and it is also hard to position her into a place where she hits the most enemies cuz she keeps dashing around. Overall, she is good but i wouldnt call her the defacto best electro dps. She is more on par with the others and arguably worse than Yae in a number of scenarios.
Her AoE is definitely better than Hu Tao's, I have no idea how you can even make that comparison.. Also the talk about AoE, Miko's turrets have 0 AoE in case you didn't know, only her Q has actual AoE. She is definitely better than Yae, even if you ignore the damage difference, simply by being more frontloaded and driving fischl better. Yae also only works in aggravate while Clorinde is looking very promising in both overload and electro charge. Yae is def good but you can't expect much from a character getting thrown out of all possible comps by Fischl to begin with lol.
@@crimo1692 I think ignoring the fact thet Yae is a much more flexible unit is unfair as well. She having off-field electro means you can very easily use her in most electro architype without any issue. And as arju already said in AoE her turret mechanics make her 0ICD unit as well, this is why she was before the only character who outsheeted Fischl in aggravate (ouside of Raiden) but only in AoE.
For this abyss, in the zhongli nahida, fishl, clorinde: drop zhongli for beidou. You get the electro shred if beidou has cons and she does big damage in the top side of this abyss due to aoe content.
@@episode4882 you give her 200+ ER. I’m not sure why you wouldn’t want her to hit ER requirements. Ultimate overlord sword+EoSF+ ER sands and she has about 202 ER without counting substats. That’s a 50% DMG bonus for her aggravates to scale off of. She’ll consistently get her bust back in triple electro with fishl. Beidou isn’t as comfy as zhongli but she provides a similar electro shred (only slightly weaker), resistance to interruption, while also contributing damage.

Madam Button-Popper finally came home after I lost the 50/50 to Diluc...
It took getting to 77 pity (started at 23) to trip over Diluc, and another 54 pulls to get Clorinde.
My C3 Thoma has made it to C6, and Sethos turned up and has made it all the way to C5, but unfortunately my C8 Benny has picked up a few copies and is now C13 😫
So far I've only tried her in one team, Cloreuse Overload, with Clorinde, Chevreuse, Thoma, and Raiden (might try Sara instead though).

I made this team for Clorinde. Clorinde, Ei, Kazuha and then a dendro character. I use Ei when Clorinde’s skill has ended and she has a 7-5 second coldown so Ei can to a quick burst. What you think is it bad or is it good enough. Personally I like that team

I have c2r1 Raiden & I can say without a doubt Clorinde is a baddie & totally worth the pull. They’re 2 totally completely different play styles. Clo is super satisfying to play. I’m running Clo, Furina, Navia & Bird Mommy… the fun is more than Raiden would/could ever let me have

So I know you by default compare based on C0 but any thoughts on how a C1 or C2 Raiden would compare with C0 Clorinde since Raiden fans are likely to have constellations?
I kinda prefer beidou over fichl due to comfort it also provides shield for comfort.. I really build her with favonious and emblem severed fate for better ER consistency..
IMO, Clorinde does better in Chevreuse overload teams than Raiden because Clorinde can actually chase after enemies getting blown away by overload without spending stamina. She can also utilize Chevy's C6 stacks better since her damage is more dispersed throughout her rotation instead of one big ult nuke at the start. That being said, I don't have Thoma built so I'd rather keep her in aggravate/quickbloom teams where my account has more defensive utility options.
11:18 I managed to get a 22 second clear with Hu Tao, Yelan, Furina and Xianyun. Hu Tao just destroyed the cryo shield (before I used Furina’s oisia damage to remove it, but Hu Tao can do it faster).
Anyone else feel that Clorinde is underwhelming when you tested her?
I was overwhelmed with the fun factor.
Every trial character can’t reach even half of their potential in trials xddd
@@PSFlow97 The best use of damage for Clorinde is the N3E combo but that is so clunky to use plus she gets interrupted easily which would drastically reduce her damage. I don't like characters that are so dependent on a shielder to work.

my problem with Raiden is when the burst misses/ new wave of enemies so I have to scrape by in order to get ER back so I can burst XD

Personally, imo, yae is just better. I would also heavily disagree about yae being worse in AoE. She thrives in it. Her ult has a very sizable AoE and her turrets can proc alot more aggravates in AoE. Meanwhile clorindes AoE is just... ok (?). Saying clorinde have AoE is pretty much saying Hutao CAs have AoE. Linear AoE is just not it unless it has a hitbox like Neuvillette and u can move. In many scenarios i find my clorinde missing enemies who just happens to be on the side of her hitboxes and it is also hard to position her into a place where she hits the most enemies cuz she keeps dashing around.
Overall, she is good but i wouldnt call her the defacto best electro dps. She is more on par with the others and arguably worse than Yae in a number of scenarios.
Her AoE is definitely better than Hu Tao's, I have no idea how you can even make that comparison.. Also the talk about AoE, Miko's turrets have 0 AoE in case you didn't know, only her Q has actual AoE. She is definitely better than Yae, even if you ignore the damage difference, simply by being more frontloaded and driving fischl better. Yae also only works in aggravate while Clorinde is looking very promising in both overload and electro charge. Yae is def good but you can't expect much from a character getting thrown out of all possible comps by Fischl to begin with lol.

Yae's turrets random targeting means every hit aggravates despite ICD.
Her Burst AoE is busted in comparison too.
@@crimo1692 I think ignoring the fact thet Yae is a much more flexible unit is unfair as well. She having off-field electro means you can very easily use her in most electro architype without any issue. And as arju already said in AoE her turret mechanics make her 0ICD unit as well, this is why she was before the only character who outsheeted Fischl in aggravate (ouside of Raiden) but only in AoE.
Back when Yae came out people were complaining about her so much and saying she's weak xD

For this abyss, in the zhongli nahida, fishl, clorinde: drop zhongli for beidou. You get the electro shred if beidou has cons and she does big damage in the top side of this abyss due to aoe content.
How do you charge her burst without 200ER
@@episode4882 you give her 200+ ER. I’m not sure why you wouldn’t want her to hit ER requirements.
Ultimate overlord sword+EoSF+ ER sands and she has about 202 ER without counting substats. That’s a 50% DMG bonus for her aggravates to scale off of. She’ll consistently get her bust back in triple electro with fishl.
Beidou isn’t as comfy as zhongli but she provides a similar electro shred (only slightly weaker), resistance to interruption, while also contributing damage.
