I personally don't want to spend too much time farming. Too old and busy for it. I actually hope they invests more into character design/activities and story lore, because that keeps me more hooked than a high difficulty grindfest.

The reality is... not everyone is too old or too busy to play these games. There are probably more younger kids playing this game than older people so kids have more time to play than adults.

I'm skeptical that we will get any sort of raid or pvp content and with the way they are sort of just improving on genshin's systems, it makes me concerned on if they will really have any endgame. Kuro is BIG on endgame. They are very involved with the hardcore community historically. Between their response to the community over the current concerns of WuWa and how they have treated PGR, there is nothing to worry about.

same bruda, Played BDO 5k hours and Lost Ark 9k hours, played this shites religiously although I'm in hiatus in BDO and just doing my dailies on my Lost Ark if I run out of waveplates in WuWa. Played Genshin on release, it was shit and bounce to MMO again. haha
Nier is the closest to reality of a first collab that we can have since Kuro has already had a collab with Nier on their other game PGR. So I'm assuming getting the rights and all that's needed to have that collab Kuro already has it, they just need the right timing. But what I'm hoping is they can collab with DMC that could go down as one of if not the best gacha game collab ever made.
Great video, was thinking about this alone wondering why nobody else is looking ahead and seeing how dumb it is to assume the current end game will remain that way when there are so many potential systems they can further exploit as the game grows (a lot which you've mentioned). The game right now has almost infinite potential, but they need to adjust the stamina because at moment, after you finish, there is no incentive to play. Yes ok, you can go and farm echo in the map, but that get's old real fast with the current settings. Oh and... I need an actual DPS pistol character yesterday :(
Did you finish all of tower and the holograms ??. If not they are there for us to try to beat. I understand you very well since I had to echo farm yesterday for sets and shit took 2 hrs 😅 was kinda boring too but better then genshin artifact farming tbh. At least there's a point in killing the things in the over world
What i love about wuthering waves is that i have something constantly to do. I have loved genshin from the beginning but it is so boring now. All i look forward is the story.
I just hope we get more co-opable content or stuff we can do together with friends or other people, the main reason why I hated genshins "co-op" experience is that having someone with you is a detriment and not a bonus, I hope WuWa goes on a different route and go instead with stuff that you could do with other people.
I wish they could add multiplayer raids with bosses and sub bosses , dungeons with unique drops may be cosmetics , unique timed monsters in the world with may be cosmetic drops , add some factions with actual building that makes sense like as you walk in to it you can see the story around it how it’s been made location chosen etc
I like the sound of all of this except for one thing: collabs. This is most likely not a popular opinion, but collabs are just immersion breaking (I’m thinking about Aloy in Genshin Impact, mainly). I’d much rather have things related to this amazing universe Kuro has created instead of things borrowed from other universes. Now, of course, there are ways to handle collaborations that might work, but in general they usually don’t fit when universe’s collide. I hope they don’t go crazy with the collabs.
Hopefully they do cross overs correctly, the world lvl going up to 80 is huge, the echo pokedex can be a per region thing to keep us busy during new regions as well- i see how alot of people wont like that system but they will have to keep us busy during new major update in my opinion and thats probably the easiest way to go about. Cause when u are damn near end game and new region comes out the only thing u can look forward to is the mats and exploration aspect of it. After like a week there isnt anything to do in new regions and most people just wait for another region to come out to do the same... aka genshin. 😅 i hope theres a new tier to echos like cost 6
The MC being a top character is a great move!! The only thing they are missing is a create a character feature lol.. I hope they have a solid balance and we don’t see power creeps to much but more they keep characters on a reasonable playing field

I never felt the need to spend a dime in these gacha pve games, im so happy. I was able to get my yangyang to be able to do 6k aero damage. As a free to play and pretty much do every single thing in this game. If they added 1 v 1 or 3 v 3, capture/defend the flag pvp arenas with this combat, shiit, I know I would have spending money on this gacha game. hahahaha, hard truth.
I’m gonna be honest, I really don’t want them to make more sonata effects. Imagine we get so many that echoes had like 5 possible sets. What I would like is have new boss echoes give more specialized buffs.
I’m so excited for this game. I like Genshin but I feel like it hit a stop sign. Maybe for Natlan patch it will catch up to WuWa, I’m just having so much fun in the game and I really hope the PS5 version comes out soon ❤
Mc already has a home where the library or archives is, so all they need to do is implement more to that and have a door to access and a room to customize, imagine Chibi characters and their interactions and even mini games with the chibis. copium hard but believe in Kuro
I hope they improve co-op system. They should allow each participant to use all three characters. Since only one is active, switching should not be complicated and with this each player can benefit 100% of all combat mechanics which include intro and outro, cancel animation, etc. With this, they can introduce a coop where it is not limited to 3 people only. They should promote collaboration to players and should not limited to exploration but world bosses etc. Currently, the co-op is a copy of that of G.I.
I’d love to see 4 things: guilds, raids, strikes, and better tough open world coop, with easy matchmaking for these modes. Raids: have a weekly raid with raid currency and rewards that can be bought with it/ unique colors skins/ weapons etc Strikes: with hard coop missions with weekly modifiers in higher difficulty with a unique resource to masterwork gear or unlock free skin colours Coop: better open world tough combat with world events that are tough but give rewards, like higher chance at better substat rolled gear from red enemies or world events/bosses Guilds: some active guild with cool shit I also hope they stop listening to “gacha gamers” that want mint maxed and flower pilled genshin 2.0 without any coop or challenging combat.
The first thing you said is not possible/not about the game or its genre. Genshin is not an MMO after all, but I understand you. However, my personal problems with Genshin are the absolute absence of endgame content, almost no actual QoL improvements, some dungeons are locked behind days of the week, annoying characters like Paimon and many other things :)
It's confirmed that the world level will go up to 8 (in genshin it only goes up to 6), I'm really curious how the bosses and overworld will be once we get that high. That means that we get additional ranks for every level all the way up to UL70!
The thing I’d want most is some type of event that happens on the map at random that spawns like a level 140 enemy (or group) and you gotta team up with other players to beat it. I also like the “concept” of some of the late game power systems in lost ark, where you go do a specific type of content and it levels up that portion of your account. Just don’t make it P2W ffs
I rly hope that your level of vision for the depth of the game which I actually share is the devs idea. However, I am concerned that they lack a clear plan what to do 1,2 y from now that includes lore, char kits, playstyle etc. So they kinda opted for general and open ended approach. I dont think also there is still the dept of lore that we see in Genshin. All of that said I have great expectation and I honestly dont care if I am going to be disappointed cos it make me enjoy the game more XDDD
Hope there will be no collabs, I hate time limited things. Incomplete character without constellations or signature weapon and the possibility of getting them in the future will drive me nuts.
Other Gacha games like Last Cloudia do Anime collabs all the time with characters signature weapons and sometimes do the re runs events. Genshin only did a collab one time because Sony told them they wanted something in return. Wuthering wave most likely release character without constellations.
I wouldn't discard Scar and the rest of Fractisus so early. Remember: Scar didn't want to kill/injure you, he wasn't fighting for real, if he had, it would had been a different story
There is a high chance we will get some type of housing system for sure later in game (with farm). But for pvp, i would realy love something like windtrace.
One thing I have not heard anyone talk about is what is lv25 echos is not the cap? What if it goes to 50 down the line and the next 5 ranks increase one of our substats? Like you said, we are still in the early game. Who can say what the future holds in a year, 2, 3, etc.
getting echoes to 25 is already a pain , imagine 50 , but then again they can just introduce orange materials (above yellow) and make it easier a bit, but this kinda also means what we say 6 star materials, which is possible but we dont really see in any gacha tbh

I don't think guilds / raids will ever come, remember its mainly a solo game. Wuwa is not an mmo like ToF where its normal to have guilds, dg/raids. Whales runs raids in ToF where they even sell runs for real life money and i don't want to see that in Wuwa.
They have already done Nier collabd with their other games, and dmc has been a collab that has been talked about and teased for awhile now. They have Virgil’s chair at the top of a mountain and his katana as well in game
About the pvp stuff, if they really implement that. It's safe to say that the OP character kit like what PGR has (hyperreal, CW etc) would not exist in this game because it will unintentionally ruin the balance of the pvp concept itself. That the cost we have to pay so that it can happen. (Banzai to those who want to see characters like them in this game😂😂😂).
I tried Punishing Gray Raven (pc player btw) and I did not like the feeling of it mainly due to the keybinds, if the camera was tied to my mouse and not my keyboard, I'd be happy and the basic attack tied to LMB it'd be fine
@@Ramej it may have been planned for mobile only, but they did make a pc client for it so if they were gonna make a client for the pc anyway, they could have at the very least made the controls properly
I feel like this is a lot of Copium, though I'd like to believe it too Genshin did not take a lot of HI3 features (collabs? Alt characters?), there's no reason to expect kuro will add features just because PGR does them. Of course, it would make sense to me and I have no idea why hoyo doesn't cash in on the opportunity, but. Point is, we have no basis to think kuro will. Voice actors mean nothing for collabs either. I don't know why that's even a bullet point.. Now, I would love to believe in Kuro. I want them to see and understand how hype it would be to be able to play popular anime or other franchise characters in their world. We don't have an open world DMC game, or Bleach game, etc. They'd basically be making the first, and people would flock to them to play the game. That's my point of view. I would go broke on a Bleach collab lol But considering it's so obvious, there may be good reasons why they don't do it. Maybe it's hard legally to get an IP in their game permanently. Maybe it's based on the type of game. I don't know how these things work but point is they may have a reason,a roadblock. At the very least, taking time to create a collab event would take away time working on their own characters. They may not want to do that. I still hope they do.. But anyway it's all Copium right now. I don't see them focusing on coop either. Which they should, since it would set them apart and cultivate more community. But alas. No reason to think they will. Guilds and Raids?... They *could* do anything. But there's no sign of it, no basis.
they need to start doubling up the rewards on everything, and doubling up the events. right now, its moving at a snails pace. and for god sakes refresh the exchange shop for monthly 5 pulls. if they gonna rip off genshin, and HSR style UI/ shops and endgame simulation, at least do it correctly ffs. people already jaded by compensation rewards.
Personally I think the echo system has issues no one is talking about that will cause a lot of players to quit. 5pc. There's no flexibility in getting the most powerful sets. You can't use something as an off piece and with all the elementa damages and ER in that pool, it will be extremely painful to get 5 pc with the damage or er stat you want, on the right set and good subs. It's just too much and even if they fix the echo exp, I am starting to believe the echo system will still be too frustrating for most players long term. If 2 pcs were just as strong this wouldn't be as big of an issue but the 2pc affects are like 3 to 4 times weaker than a 5 pc set. 10 energy is nothing, 10 elemental damage isn't that good. 10 attack is nothing. This system has no flexibility and in therefore I think the problem lies with more than just the exp. If they don't fix this idk how many players will actually make it to all the cool potential stuff you talked about. Like trying to find a er piece on the support pieces is rare and characters like Jianxin are extremely energy hungry to use as a sub. I personally can't think about the future when this echo system feels as bad as it does
It's not that much different from genshin and honestly this is only the first wave of echo sets. 2 piece 2 piece set will be a thing soon but atm they just released the basic needs for us.
@TheShootingstarhero Genshin it's 4 pc allowing you to use one non set piece to make building easier. Also genshins 2 pcs out of the water were much stronger imo. This isn't to put down Wuwa or glaze genshin, I hate Genshin but tbh I kind of think their artifact system is better which is really surprising to me. 15 att, 25 phys, 20 ult damage, 15 fire. 80 em. Those stats as a whole are much better than 10 er, 10 attack, 10 element damage etc
Yeah, I can't agree more with this. For me, 5pcs is nonsense because there is no way for you to explore a new playstyle without ruining the set bonus. I don't really want to equip only the boss on the main echo (even though there is a bonus effect on them, some elite or normal echo also got a unique effect). Why am I saying this? For example, i cant equip violet heron on jianxin because she is an aero element user while violet heron only for electro and fusion elements set. That is the limitation of 5pcs so at least with 4pcs set we can have freedom to choose the active echo skill for any character in the game.
@farhangg7070 Yea and for supports if you don't use the 5 set your missing out on like 35 attack. 22 from energy set and 15 or more from healing. Then the damage Ines are like 30 percent damage increase over 2 pc 2pc. It's just too strong but too restrictive. So if you don't use 5pc on healer support and main dps that's like 35 attack and 30 elemental damage your losing. I think that's way too grindy for most casual gacha players.

Thankfully Kuro is not Hoyo. Kuro is way more focused on the endgame and difficulty level compared to Hoyo.

We have a dps gunner in the game and she has fired red hair. Is she good.... no but usable.

I never felt the need to spend a dime in these gacha pve games, im so happy. I was able to get my yangyang to be able to do 6k aero damage. As a free to play and pretty much do every single thing in this game.
If they added 1 v 1 or 3 v 3, capture/defend the flag pvp arenas with this combat, shiit, I know I would have spending money on this gacha game. hahahaha, hard truth.

I’m gonna be honest, I really don’t want them to make more sonata effects. Imagine we get so many that echoes had like 5 possible sets. What I would like is have new boss echoes give more specialized buffs.
I’m so excited for this game. I like Genshin but I feel like it hit a stop sign. Maybe for Natlan patch it will catch up to WuWa, I’m just having so much fun in the game and I really hope the PS5 version comes out soon ❤
Mc already has a home where the library or archives is, so all they need to do is implement more to that and have a door to access and a room to customize, imagine Chibi characters and their interactions and even mini games with the chibis. copium hard but believe in Kuro
A multigroup function would 100000% put it over all games imo
I hope they improve co-op system. They should allow each participant to use all three characters. Since only one is active, switching should not be complicated and with this each player can benefit 100% of all combat mechanics which include intro and outro, cancel animation, etc.
With this, they can introduce a coop where it is not limited to 3 people only. They should promote collaboration to players and should not limited to exploration but world bosses etc.
Currently, the co-op is a copy of that of G.I.
Everything is copy from genshin impact now a days..
I’d love to see 4 things: guilds, raids, strikes, and better tough open world coop, with easy matchmaking for these modes.
Raids: have a weekly raid with raid currency and rewards that can be bought with it/ unique colors skins/ weapons etc
Strikes: with hard coop missions with weekly modifiers in higher difficulty with a unique resource to masterwork gear or unlock free skin colours
Coop: better open world tough combat with world events that are tough but give rewards, like higher chance at better substat rolled gear from red enemies or world events/bosses
Guilds: some active guild with cool shit
I also hope they stop listening to “gacha gamers” that want mint maxed and flower pilled genshin 2.0 without any coop or challenging combat.

One thing i always disliked about Genshin was no character creator, and more importantly no Collabs.
The first thing you said is not possible/not about the game or its genre. Genshin is not an MMO after all, but I understand you. However, my personal problems with Genshin are the absolute absence of endgame content, almost no actual QoL improvements, some dungeons are locked behind days of the week, annoying characters like Paimon and many other things :)

Well the legendary echoes we have it’s shown as 4 stars , so that could go to 5 stars and then even mythical , S, SSS etc
It's confirmed that the world level will go up to 8 (in genshin it only goes up to 6), I'm really curious how the bosses and overworld will be once we get that high. That means that we get additional ranks for every level all the way up to UL70!
I was looking at the datamined files, they say we have world ranks every 10 levels up to 80. Which is kind of insane!
Hoping we get 5 star weapon for crafting or maybe a boss weapon for crafting which we get materials from defeating them.
The thing I’d want most is some type of event that happens on the map at random that spawns like a level 140 enemy (or group) and you gotta team up with other players to beat it.
I also like the “concept” of some of the late game power systems in lost ark, where you go do a specific type of content and it levels up that portion of your account. Just don’t make it P2W ffs

I rly hope that your level of vision for the depth of the game which I actually share is the devs idea. However, I am concerned that they lack a clear plan what to do 1,2 y from now that includes lore, char kits, playstyle etc.
So they kinda opted for general and open ended approach.
I dont think also there is still the dept of lore that we see in Genshin. All of that said I have great expectation and I honestly dont care if I am going to be disappointed cos it make me enjoy the game more XDDD
Hope there will be no collabs, I hate time limited things. Incomplete character without constellations or signature weapon and the possibility of getting them in the future will drive me nuts.
Other Gacha games like Last Cloudia do Anime collabs all the time with characters signature weapons and sometimes do the re runs events. Genshin only did a collab one time because Sony told them they wanted something in return. Wuthering wave most likely release character without constellations.
I wouldn't discard Scar and the rest of Fractisus so early. Remember: Scar didn't want to kill/injure you, he wasn't fighting for real, if he had, it would had been a different story
There is a high chance we will get some type of housing system for sure later in game (with farm).
But for pvp, i would realy love something like windtrace.

One thing I have not heard anyone talk about is what is lv25 echos is not the cap? What if it goes to 50 down the line and the next 5 ranks increase one of our substats?
Like you said, we are still in the early game. Who can say what the future holds in a year, 2, 3, etc.
getting echoes to 25 is already a pain , imagine 50 , but then again they can just introduce orange materials (above yellow) and make it easier a bit, but this kinda also means what we say 6 star materials, which is possible but we dont really see in any gacha tbh
We could get a new tier of echo lvl like cost 5 or 6

I don't think guilds / raids will ever come, remember its mainly a solo game. Wuwa is not an mmo like ToF where its normal to have guilds, dg/raids.
Whales runs raids in ToF where they even sell runs for real life money and i don't want to see that in Wuwa.
i just hope for more multiplayer content, and in generally they keep some challenge

They have already done Nier collabd with their other games, and dmc has been a collab that has been talked about and teased for awhile now. They have Virgil’s chair at the top of a mountain and his katana as well in game

About the pvp stuff, if they really implement that. It's safe to say that the OP character kit like what PGR has (hyperreal, CW etc) would not exist in this game because it will unintentionally ruin the balance of the pvp concept itself. That the cost we have to pay so that it can happen. (Banzai to those who want to see characters like them in this game😂😂😂).
I tried Punishing Gray Raven (pc player btw) and I did not like the feeling of it mainly due to the keybinds, if the camera was tied to my mouse and not my keyboard, I'd be happy and the basic attack tied to LMB it'd be fine

Genshin did not take a lot of HI3 features (collabs? Alt characters?), there's no reason to expect kuro will add features just because PGR does them.
Of course, it would make sense to me and I have no idea why hoyo doesn't cash in on the opportunity, but. Point is, we have no basis to think kuro will.
Voice actors mean nothing for collabs either. I don't know why that's even a bullet point..
Now, I would love to believe in Kuro. I want them to see and understand how hype it would be to be able to play popular anime or other franchise characters in their world. We don't have an open world DMC game, or Bleach game, etc. They'd basically be making the first, and people would flock to them to play the game. That's my point of view. I would go broke on a Bleach collab lol
But considering it's so obvious, there may be good reasons why they don't do it. Maybe it's hard legally to get an IP in their game permanently. Maybe it's based on the type of game.
I don't know how these things work but point is they may have a reason,a roadblock. At the very least, taking time to create a collab event would take away time working on their own characters. They may not want to do that.
I still hope they do.. But anyway it's all Copium right now. I don't see them focusing on coop either. Which they should, since it would set them apart and cultivate more community. But alas. No reason to think they will. Guilds and Raids?... They *could* do anything. But there's no sign of it, no basis.

they need to start doubling up the rewards on everything, and doubling up the events. right now, its moving at a snails pace. and for god sakes refresh the exchange shop for monthly 5 pulls. if they gonna rip off genshin, and HSR style UI/ shops and endgame simulation, at least do it correctly ffs. people already jaded by compensation rewards.

Personally I think the echo system has issues no one is talking about that will cause a lot of players to quit.
5pc. There's no flexibility in getting the most powerful sets. You can't use something as an off piece and with all the elementa damages and ER in that pool, it will be extremely painful to get 5 pc with the damage or er stat you want, on the right set and good subs. It's just too much and even if they fix the echo exp, I am starting to believe the echo system will still be too frustrating for most players long term. If 2 pcs were just as strong this wouldn't be as big of an issue but the 2pc affects are like 3 to 4 times weaker than a 5 pc set. 10 energy is nothing, 10 elemental damage isn't that good. 10 attack is nothing. This system has no flexibility and in therefore I think the problem lies with more than just the exp. If they don't fix this idk how many players will actually make it to all the cool potential stuff you talked about.
Like trying to find a er piece on the support pieces is rare and characters like Jianxin are extremely energy hungry to use as a sub. I personally can't think about the future when this echo system feels as bad as it does
It's not that much different from genshin and honestly this is only the first wave of echo sets. 2 piece 2 piece set will be a thing soon but atm they just released the basic needs for us.
@TheShootingstarhero Genshin it's 4 pc allowing you to use one non set piece to make building easier. Also genshins 2 pcs out of the water were much stronger imo. This isn't to put down Wuwa or glaze genshin, I hate Genshin but tbh I kind of think their artifact system is better which is really surprising to me.
15 att, 25 phys, 20 ult damage, 15 fire. 80 em. Those stats as a whole are much better than 10 er, 10 attack, 10 element damage etc
Yeah, I can't agree more with this. For me, 5pcs is nonsense because there is no way for you to explore a new playstyle without ruining the set bonus. I don't really want to equip only the boss on the main echo (even though there is a bonus effect on them, some elite or normal echo also got a unique effect).
Why am I saying this? For example, i cant equip violet heron on jianxin because she is an aero element user while violet heron only for electro and fusion elements set. That is the limitation of 5pcs so at least with 4pcs set we can have freedom to choose the active echo skill for any character in the game.
@farhangg7070 Yea and for supports if you don't use the 5 set your missing out on like 35 attack. 22 from energy set and 15 or more from healing. Then the damage Ines are like 30 percent damage increase over 2 pc 2pc. It's just too strong but too restrictive. So if you don't use 5pc on healer support and main dps that's like 35 attack and 30 elemental damage your losing. I think that's way too grindy for most casual gacha players.
