I like your extensions for the harness rings. I have the same problem. I noticed the large harness didn't have that issue, so maybe it's just the small/medium harness. FYI, you should be using delta shaped maillons for your reserve. Those square ones aren't appropriate and would likely cross-load if you threw the reserve. Square ones are for connecting two flat webbing of same width. Even with the delta, I'd recommend using o-rings to help secure the bridles and harness to the maillons.
