Hello, great content👌🏻. would it be possible to get a 3d image inside the mirror with a laser printer? Because I've been asking around and nobody could get depth inside the mirror with a laser printer
You can leverage depth maps to give that effect, but you're still only taking off the mirror layer in the back, not effecting glass. To get inside glass and go different layers is a whole different type of technology. Like how they etch inside crystal blocks, or UV lasers.
Hey there Tom! The estimated time it takes to engrave different things such as this will vary based on what machine you are using and how intricate your engraving is. If you are using LightBurn, it will give you an estimate on the preview screen that is fairly accurate. :-) How you price your engraving services is completely up to you, but we do have a lot of customers who start by charging $1/minute of engraving. Hope this helps!

We bought a bunch from home depot in bulk (without a frame) that looked pretty good! But I honestly have gotten a lot at local stores like Walmart and Meijer.
Hey Shannon! There are several programs you can use to process photos for laser engraving. The program used in this video is Corel Photo Paint, but you can use other photo processing programs such as Photoshop or Affinity Photo, as well. :)
Hi Edward! Yes, Corel Draw does have the ability to dither a photo but PhotoGrav makes the process a lot easier compared to trying to do it in Corel Draw. In Corel, everything is set to 0 so there is a lot of trial and error to work through to get your photo to come out correctly.
Photograv comes with our 3 larger units starting with the SN2816 as part of the Turnkey Package. You can add it on for $395 on the 2 smaller units (the SN1812 and SN2616), or $800 total for Corel Draw and Photograv, (you get an additional 4 hours of training with that too).

From start to finish, what is the estimated time? What would the average price someone could charge per hour with a SN4836?

What size laser are you using?
Hello sir can you do a video engraving on wood
We have a lot of different wood engraving videos on our livestream tab!
We will also work on making a wood engraving how-to in the future. :)
I'm trying to find a reasonably priced source for mirror blanks. Suggestions?
We bought a bunch from home depot in bulk (without a frame) that looked pretty good! But I honestly have gotten a lot at local stores like Walmart and Meijer.
Hi there! Not sure if you're still looking for mirror blanks, but there are a number of places such as Home Depot, Amazon, or any craft store.

Can you do Jewelry like rings how do you get inside the ring to engrave it
Yes! Though, you will need a chuck rotary to grab the ring so you can engrave the inside.
👍👍👍
What is the speed that you used in that work?
Hi there! At the 21.37 minute mark, Jason does a walk-through of the settings he used, which are 25 speed and 100 power.
A comparison with Lightburn showing how great PhotoGrav is may not be useful. It's $600 for a license... Waaaay out of the question for me.

@@shannonhartwick3608 How necesaary is PhotoGrav?
