For the hops, you could have used smartfill. Then you aren’t converting to convert back to a vector. It will also keep image integrity. Sometimes converting back and forth can create unexpected changes or artifacts.

Did you say your 12x12 pieces were vinyl flooring? Or was it 100% wood flooring? A faster way to center anything to your page (for both x & y is to select the item, then press the letter p on the keyboard.

Would it be quicker to just cut a line for the outline of the letters instead of engraving? You can then use that to align letters and glue / pin nail.

      Thank you for your feedback!
You are absolutely correct - you could also run a lower powered outline around the letters instead of a full roster engraving to save time. :)

      Hey there,
You can get started with whatever files you'd like to run! I like to suggest starting off by making something fun for yourself - like engraving your favorite sports team's logo on a cup for yourself or making a keychain with your name on it.
We have lots of different how-to videos on our channel so feel free to browse those for ideas!
You can also reach out to our technical support service for advice and help getting started. :)
