Nice instructsbke. But too much talking off topic.
I like to run a score layer on my backer that outlines were all of the pieces are going to go. It really helps with placement and you can run it at 60+mm/s so it goes really quick.
Thanks! I typically do. The first one I cut was the wrong size and scored and then in my haste I cut another one and forgot the score lines. 🤦♀️ I typically score around 800 speed 25 power.
In place of filler primer have you tried to use watered down wood glue (titebond) and paint the parts first for a sealer??
Great video! Wish we could have seen the final sign a little more up close and personal at the end. But very informative. I have to up my game!
OMG. @BuildDadBuild Hi! I love your channel! Thanks for watching. 😃I will show everything close up in Part 2 releasing next week. 🥳
I am looking to purchase a Laser. What is your vice?
What grit barrels and discs do you recommend?
What’s your thoughts on having an air sprayer for paint over cost of cans?
I would totally invest in one if I did this all the time. Since it was a one off project spray paint was enough. 🙂
3:18 How do you know? 😅
Great video! Love the mix of tempo, your arts/crafts approach, and I'm secretly jealous of your Christmas staging area, haha. You might like an item on my to-buy list; the Lasko FF305. I plan to set it next to my sanding area to draw the dust away, and for when I'm to lazy to mask up for a minute or 2 job.
Is this business on the Florida/Georgia line?
Pretty neat process but would have liked to see more of the finished product. I really liked it up until the painting portion. If it's going to be painted anyways...I couldn't help but thing 3d printing the inner parts would have been easier.
Thanks. You can see more of the finished project in Part 2 here ruclips.net/video/CAyxquTomqo/видео.htmlsi=v0Lo5DDL4FPRzIUM
great video! thanks for all of the info you provide.
Question for you: how much spray paint is on your iPhone???
Bahahahah 🤣🤣🤣 Great question. A little bit got on it but thankfully it all came off. I take the risk for you guys to make it as clear and helpful as possible. ❤️
You need to build a downdraft table. It will solve two of your biggest issues - one being it will suction your work to the table to free up your hands and two it will allow the dust to not get in the air. I don't know where you're located in the US, but I could design one and send you the info if you want. I'm a UF Gators Alum BTW - good mashup of the two schools on the logo.
Thank you for your input! I rarely make projects like this but if it becomes something I do all the time then I will definitely consider it. The business did a great job with their logo. I love it too!
I have to admit that I like your idea for painting small pieces by taping to some cardboard so you can do a bunch at one time, not have to hold them and also keep the backs free from paint so you can glue them later.
I’m glad you find it helpful 😃
2 hrs of sleep but when I got the TMWAL Live notification I guess its time to wake up! Lol when does part 2 drop?
Awww this is the best compliment ever!! Next Tuesday same time. 🥰
very nice
Love your videos, I have learned a lot from you.
I’m so happy to hear it. Thank you for watching!
Grab yo self a painters turntable
Thanks. I don’t paint often and the one I have was at the house. Great suggestion though!
I can not find part 2, can you please help
Ok just read another comment we’re you answered part 2 is next Tuesday, thank you anyway, can’t wait to see it 😊

@@chipsmith6486oh I see. You mean the MDF sheet. It might be but neither myself or many of my viewers work with power tools. Many of us just work with the laser and other equipment like sub printers, heat presses, etc. So using the access door is an easy solution for those one off peices of large wood.
@@ThatMomWithALaser I have tools, and I'd rather cut MDF with a laser too. You're certainly not missing out on the dust. I don't even like cutting it when outside.
