Yeah definitely didn’t want to miss this one and with it being a UK manufacturer as well definitely wanted it on the channel and supporting and showing love for the UK brand.
Mine arrived yesterday, first new car I’ve had since my bosscat in 1992. Ordered the transmission upgrade as well so will wait until it arrives before I start the build
LoL Andy, I told myself I wasn't going to watch this vid until after I'd opened mine when it arrives tomorrow so I did't spoil it but just couldn't help it. Good job as usual matey.
Nice to see that you got one so quickly Andy, enjoy your build. Ordered mine Friday evening and won't get till Tuesday. I'll be collecting some hop-ups and electrics over the next few weeks and building in the new year. If its as much fun as the Cougar Classic it will be brilliant!! 👍
Hello Nigel , yeah Insideline did a great job of getting them in so quickly. That will be cool getting all the bits together and then doing the build in one go. Enjoy it, I think you’ll love it. If you liked the cougar I don’t see why you wouldn’t like the procat , take care :)
Hi Damien, yes sone great buggy’s from the early to mid 90s. They’ve made a nice job on the box I guess this will be standard format for their re-releases now.
Cool Adam, hope it arrives soon as possible, you’ll enjoy the build I’m sure :) a lot of people in the UK had them delivered today. It’s very nice looking thing.
@@AntsRC Campbeltown hobbies in Sydney. They were expecting shipment early this month, but apparently Aus is getting there’s end of the month / start of December. They also had a Halloween discount when I pre ordered mjne
Hi Kieth thank you. Glad your getting one on the channel , be quick though ;) I don’t know how many is in the first batch of kits released. Need to catch up on your vids fella been so busy.
Hi Andy, that's a lovely kit, fella! Looks bigger than the 1/10 Tamiyas? The components all look like great quality. I'm looking forward to seeing the finished buggy and how it runs! Have a smashing weekend, mate! :))
Cheers Mark yeah it probably is a little wider and a bigger stance than slit of Tamiya’s but I think the top force or the TD4 would be comparable in size. Cheers I’m starting the build tomorrow, can’t wait :) take care mate
Order mine this weekend, I won’t have it till Christmas though lol (present) I raced one of these back in the day I used to race a optima mid turbo SE and moved over to this car. Way ahead of its time Still is imo
Cheers Russell, mine just about finished just waiting on a servo now. Enjoy your build when you get it. Lovely bit of kit aren’t they. Thanks for checking the video out
@@andyrobinsonrc2480 they certainly are!!! Just quick question though Can the stock transmission take a 13.5t brushless system or will I need the pro transmission? Or what brushed is it’s equivalent?
I am still waiting on my backordered cougar to show up so thinking I won't be ordering this one. Sadly not a ton of retailers her in the US selling them so the ones that do get over sold and it takes forever. I will be looking forward to seeing it built up and running though. I checked them out and it looks like a terrific buggy!!
Looks like a lovely bit of kit mate, nice one. The only Schumacher I've ever had was a Mission 2 many years ago, and to be honest I didn't really like it that much. The fit and finish was a bit rough in places, and the shocks were not that great. Once built and set up right it was great to drive though ;)
Cheers Barry, it’s definitely a nice bit of kit. There is always a bit of fettling with the Schumacher’s especially from what I’ve heard off other people, although I didn’t have many problems with the Cougar. They are racing machines and are usually a good drive
Hi Brad I’m sure some will make it to the USA not sure what price though, I’m the UK they are £289. I think Addam is still waiting on his cougar to arrive
Fantastic Andy brilliant bit of kit.. Enjoy my friend 👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks Darren it’s a lovely looking thing, can’t wait to get stuck in tomorrow
Cool you got one :)! Like you said, if you missed the XLS this is 100% worth getting in.
Yeah definitely didn’t want to miss this one and with it being a UK manufacturer as well definitely wanted it on the channel and supporting and showing love for the UK brand.
Awesome! Enjoy the build.👍😊
Thank you 🙏 looking forward to it :)
Awesome, I remember when Schumacher was that elite hard to find and very expensive to buy cars in the early 90's here in the USA.
Thanks for showing Andy. I'm looking forward to your next videos about it.
Cheers :) can’t wait to get this out with and alongside my cougar build. Cheers for watching
Mine arrived yesterday, first new car I’ve had since my bosscat in 1992. Ordered the transmission upgrade as well so will wait until it arrives before I start the build
Ace nice one Barry , been building mine up today :) yes definitely easier to build it up with the pro transmission rather than installing afterwards
Had one back in 1991 as my Christmas present.
That’s ace 👍 cheers for watching hope it brought back sone memories

@@andyrobinsonrc2480 i know, decided it was quicker 😂 might set myself a challenge. Try and get one back in and be able to close the lid 😂
It's interesting that they came out with the procat so soon after the cougar.
It’s before Christmas sone good time to release a kit in the leaf up to Xmas I’m sure they will get great sales

Nice ! Can't wait to get mine ! I did a decal sheet a while ago for someone who wanted to do a Phil Davies replica, I'll have to see if i can find it.
Nice car Andy. The XLS didn’t come with a saddle pack chassis in the kit, there was one available as an option / upgrade bitd. Enjoy the build. 👍
