    Gosh your blanket is so pretty! I think I've decided to end my temp blankets at the end of June and start a new one for July-December. That way I'll have 4 lap blankets (doing both weights in separate blankets) to give to folks at my momma's care facility as gifts. There are quite a few people there with no family. Oh, and my sweet mum will be 102 years old June 25th!

      @@Spoke76 I started with less chain stitches and just 'eyeballed it to make sure it covered just beyond my legs, to tuck down the sides a bit.
      I did 101 chain stitches for the width, and will finish up the length by completing rows for June. Then will figure out a border for each. It's a fun way to give a little joy :)

    While attempting to make a blanket with this stitch, I had a problem with the sides as the blanket got smaller and smaller. I realize now the problem was at the beginning I wasn't putting the first stitch in the same stitch! wow!!! The baby blanket was just recently frogged but now I know my mistake, there is no problem. Since the blanket is getting bigger and bigger and it is getting hotter and hotter out (100 degrees today!!) I greatly appreciate an easy stitch that is not long to make once you get the hang of it!! Thanks

    • @CrochetWithTiffany
      @CrochetWithTiffany  Год назад +2

      Good question MsBarb1946. I did share the June stitch count at the top of the June Calendar Stitch Card you can find on my website crochetwithTiffany.com under the Crochet Along tab. I chose not to mention it in the video because I wanted you to focus more on getting the pattern right than focusing on the stitch count. People have been accidentally straying away from the pattern a bit when focusing too hard on the stitch count.

    Tiffany:Just finished printing off patterns to November. Reading through the patterns I noticed that for June, July and I believe August you say to "make one row every other day, Just row 1 or just row 2 but not both" I am an intermediate experience crocheter but do not quite understand this direction. Please explain..Thank you!! also I really love your youtube tutorials...

      Hi there! I’m so glad you found my channel and that you are enjoying my videos! Ah, this was something we talked about towards the beginning of the Temp Blanket Project. We are having to control how many rows we make in a month to keep the blanket from getting too obnoxiously long. If there is a 2 row repeat to a pattern, I want people to only work one row for one day and the second row for the next day counted. Not the row 1 & 2 repeat. That would add too much length for that month. I hope that makes sense. 😊

    Hi Tiffany, what is the stitch count per row for size 4 yarn for the trinity stitch?

    • @CrochetWithTiffany
      @CrochetWithTiffany  Год назад +2

      Great question Mrs. S. I came to the count of 191. I didn't make any adjustments to stitch count that I had for May. And that month seemed to be a bit different for multiple people. So, I recommend working the pattern for row 1 and then count how many stitches you were able to work. That's why I left it out of the tutorial but I did include a number in the Free Pattern if you really want one.
      For the pattern card just go to my website CrochetWithTiffany.com and click under Crochet Along. 😊

    If I wanted to do June to June for a past year, what would be your advice on creating the base chain and transitioning from December to January since they would be in the middle instead of the ends for me?

    • @CrochetWithTiffany
      @CrochetWithTiffany  10 месяцев назад +1

      Great question! I discovered a good starting chain to work will all the stitches involved needs to be divisible by 4. There were a few times we added a stitch or decreased a stitch to get the next pattern to work but this was my strategy beginning the project. 😊❤️🧶

    • @marya3773
      @marya3773 10 месяцев назад

      @@CrochetWithTiffany thank you so much for the advice. I'll have to see what stitch count works best to transition from November to December to January but the multiples of 4 should help me out a lot there. Hopefully I don't get that "hourglass figure" going on with those transitions 🤣
