I’m wearing my luxury to work! I didn’t t buy it to sit on the shelf . You hired me for my brain ( skills, college degree) and work ethics NOT my wardrobe choice . If I have to hide my luxury items from colleagues and supervisors then that particular working environment is not for me. That’s too much anxiety trying to please everyone. The double standard is horrible! It’s like we women should not treat ourselves to nice items. We women should respect each other instead of tearing each other down. What you realize, as you get older, is that people will ALWAYS find a reason to judge you. It doesn't matter if it's about your love of luxury bags, clothes or watches. People will judge you because you do (or don't) straighten your hair, curl your hair, wear make-up, don't wear make-up, dress up, dress down. Women, in particular, cannot win. I have a friend who is a scientist, on her first day of work she wore a little bit of make-up, just a touch, like mascara and lip gloss, the women in her office (and yes, the judgement came from the other women) stared at her and made her feel very uncomfortable. In their mind, as "academics" only intellectual things matter and make-up and clothes are considered beneath them and shallow. I was very offended on her behalf and told her that she should have continued to wear make-up and even take it up a notch to be contrarian, but hey, that's my personality. 😆
This was such a super great and informative vlog! I was late to enter the world of luxury hand bags but it has truly become a passion for me, in the same way that I love collecting art and paintings while travelling abroad. Many bags can classify as art so it’s in the same realm IMO. The difference is, I don’t carry my paintings crossbody or in my hand so I don’t have to witness the disapproving side eye in the same way that I do when I carry a designer bag. I actually found myself carrying Coach bags to work because I knew that a $400 bag would not garner the same unwanted attention that my $5800 Celine bag does. Such a shame that I felt this way…. but no more. Both you and Dayle have opened my eyes and inspired me with your words to be proud of my accomplishments and enjoy the bags that are special to me. I’ve spent my entire life working hard in both criminal justice and policing. I don’t have kids to occupy my time or the expenses associated with youngsters so I’m gonna buy the damn bag if I want to. We have a limited amount of time on this globe. We all have an expiration date. What gives me the most joy, aside from my sisters and my friendships, is travel and when I travel, I enjoy purchasing luxury bags. I hate the judgement that sometimes comes with it but I’m not going to apologize for the way I spend MY MONEY! In an age where I truly feel women should rule this effed up world, I desperately wish more of us would support each other’s accomplishments and dreams, even if those dreams are different from their own. I experienced a lot of judgments from women, I used to work with mainly women and it was so much worse than working with men. Now I work with mainly men and I get less judged by what bag, jewelry or shoes I wear. I really hope women’s workplace will become more friendlier, because women supporting women is definitely much needed in the workplace. Thanks Amélia and Dayle for such a great video! 💞
I don't think that would happen. Women have through evolution 🧬 got used to compete for men's attention and accept and to bow down to the queen bee lady who is the most toxic and narsissistic woman in the group. Women need to be aware of these traits in order to even begin creating a sisterhood.
Fabulous conversation! Let's keep these going. I already gave my 2 cents on the prior video. One piece of advice as others navigate into wearing luxury to work and getting comments saying they make too much or are paid too well. Next time someone says that to you, tell them "no, they pay me what I'm worth" and walk away. We need to change the mindset of others that women CAN produce results AND benefits AND profits for a company, and in kind, we get paid what that's worth.
Ps my channel has opened up conversations recently with friends. One friend told me she has been gaming for 3 years and not felt able to share it with anyone until now. I thought it was fabulous! Firstly the fact she felt safe to share that with me and secondly that she has found something she loves and brings enormous pleasure. How sad she doesn’t share it with others as she feels judged. The more we open up the more people will open up too! Keep conversations open and smile and celebrate others even if their hobby isn’t one for you. It doesn’t need to be for you as it’s theirs! Well done ladies for talking about this!
The nerve of the guy that said to Dayle “ How did you buy them? I buy them with money! 😂 thanks Dayle for standing up to these individuals who tried to “ box” you in…. Your stories will inspire others to enjoy their luxury items. 😊
I like her. I'm gonna check out her channel. It's nobody's biz where or how we buy anything we have. It's not their money don't feel bad or embarrassed for anything you work hard for
I love you two! Please make regular collabs like this one. Regarding the topic, as I mentioned under your first video, vile and jealous people (especially women, unfortunately) will always find a reason for hate and nastiness. Regardless of your items' worth. I got hate for H&M earrings in the past. A luxury of 3 Euro a pair... (Never wore any luxury piece I own to that office - on purpose). What did those b*tches teach me? I will never ever NOT wear what I want to wear. Because in the end, it does not matter. People who choose to hate you, will anyways. It is your life - enjoy what you have and love.
Loved this ❤ as I age gracefully I no longer give much thought to those who choose to judge my choices. I’m child free and therefore I have a lot of freedom to do as I please 😂 I’m incredibly happy with my life choices and I have worked hard to get where I am 🎉
What a great blog , this has happened to all of us , I took a designer bag to work once , because I was made feel so bad I ended up telling everyone it was fake. You and Dayle are the kindest, real , fabulous people. I feel blessed to watch both of you. I'm lucky to have Dayle with me in Australia. Never forget how you two impact all of us in such a wonderful way. ❤
Thank you for revisiting this. As I said, I'm lucky, I wear luxury and no-one in the hospital realises but they like my looks 😂. But I hope y'all are all empowered !! I don't know Dayle, though you've mentioned her many times before, but now I'm going to look her up!!
I love what Dayle said. I also wear luxury to work and now people just know I'm fashionable. It's something they know about me, but they also respect my work. Once, my boss saw the dress I was wearing and commented, "Going to a party?" She didn't mean it with the best intention, but I responded, "Life is a party!" She was taken aback by my comment and agreed with me, which then shifted the mood of that original comment. I like what Dayle said about responding with a question or comment that leans into who you are--then they know they can't use it to insult or belittle you.
Such a great approach Dayle - i they cannot accept what gives you joy it says more about them than you! Unfortunately my luxury handbags are at home during the weekend. You have inspired me to make a change.
This is simply fabulous, I wish I had heard both your and Dale's talk a few decades ago! It's never too late to make a shift, stand tall and own yourself and what you love. Thank you for a truly inspiring video, one I will rewatch.❤
Absolutely one of my favorite videos! Loved hearing from both of you in one video and noodling on each view. Early in my career I faced those comments and allowed them to inform my choices. But over time I've decided to make my own decisions and own those choices - which means wearing the bags! Funnily enough I still get the comments but now that I'm very comfortable in my choices and in my personal brand it's less of an issue. Part of it was getting comfortable with what my personal brand at work is wholistically. I'm known as a hard worker, a great meeting facilitator, generous with my time and coaching, and a good work travel companion. And I'm the one with the handbag collection. If anything I feel like it makes things more interesting. And I do find that it is a point of connection. Even for those not interested in bags it leaves me an opening to ask them more about them. Maybe they love to see live concerts, or travel, or enjoy cars, etc.
Absolute love this! I need to take a leaf out of Dayle’s book! I can afford the odd luxury bag in a year because I don’t drink my money and pee it away like most people I work with! Nothing wrong with that if people like to party and spend the cost of a LV card holder in the space of 2 weeks on alcohol, good for them. Personally, I’ll have that card holder!!😂
I commented on Amelia’s previous video . I honestly just had this conversation Friday with a co-worker. She stated she has a Chanel handbag, but wears it on the weekends. I told her what is point of purchasing a handbag to just wear it on the weekend . It’s yours enjoy it. She just begun working at my job this yr and is the only one I speak to mostly about designer items, and I work with a group of women here in Japan. This is a worldwide issue.❤❤
Great topic. My husband bought me my Lv artsy dream bag in 2014 and I wasn’t comfortable carrying it because of others people mind and maybe I was afraid of their comments. As I enjoy bags and thanks of the lockdown I had time to watch RUclips about handbags. Thanks to videos like this I got more confident with taking my Artsy out of the box and I grew my collection with things I love. It took me years to feel comfortable with wearing luxury, I admit not on any occasion, but today I don’t care anymore about what people think. To be yourself is the best feeling in the world. Sandra
Amazing video!!! I hope this helps younger women in the work place; I have had so many comments made about me, as I worked in a male dominated field (engineering), and it was rough; even at the petrol station filling my car up I was told by my VP doing the same thing, "we pay you too much" because of my luxury vehicle; to be frank I was really afraid I wouldn't get as good of a raise during performance review time; that comment made me want to fade into the shadows because of the level he was; I was looked down upon by a few of my peers because of the jewelry I wore, how feminine i dressed, and was confronted on a pretty consistent basis. I no longer work, and I now know the pressure of being in that type of work environment. Of course, I carry my luxury with ease, and it feels great. As women, we are STILL discriminated against just for being women, SO as women we need to support one another mighty because only a few will, and NOT be tearing each other down...again AMAZING topic and video! Rosey 😊😊😊😊
Thank-you both. Love love loved this. You've both inspired me to talk more openly about my love of luxury, which has helped me even at the tender age of 64. I've had only positive responses. You're right, negative comments come when people either feel threatened, or they are mourning the person they knew, and they want to hold you back. By owning our passions, we never know who we might be inspiring to do the same. Bravo!
Thank you for talking about this topic because it is so relevant for me now , unfortunately I just had to leave a really toxic workplace and one of the element was when I made my decision about it, that my female coworkers could not handle the way I dress - I wear classic elegant - I do my hair - I have a long blond hair that it well taking care of by my lovely hairdresser - and that I actually put nice make-up on every day -- I use not to much but high quality make-up - and they hated my Chanel perfume, because it is too expensive to wear it! I was constantly got ugly comments about my appearance and I was "excommunicated" from the team to the point that effected my work. I am in my 40s but I felt like I am back again in highschool and all the mean girls are around me. I asked my husband why it is bothering them so much that I like to dress and look nice, and he said they are just jealous. So at the end I just did not wear make-up anymore and I just put up my hair and no perfume... I just could not believe this kind of non sense and ugly behavior could not be productive at the workplace. I never had to face this kind of ugly behavior before at the workplace I was always complemented by my coworkers and my friends about my look. I am happy I left. PS: I only wear my Longchamp bag to work.
I, like Dayle, work in a male dominated industry. And, like Dayle, love luxury, colour, nails, make up, the whole pularva. Interestingly the only people who comment negatively about my presentation is women or middle management corporate men. The “blokes” often have a million questions and encourage my love of all things “flashy” as the call it. My days of quietening myself are over. Thanks to you both for encouraging the conversation
I didn’t think I had experienced it but I just realized as I listened to you that I really have. A friend, yes friend, was so rude when I achieved the ability to purchase a 40 year dream of owning a Cartier bracelet. We had discussed how we both loved them for years. When I got mine the reaction was pointedly rude. Yes it is women who break us down.
That is so sad. But I understand. I have scheduled my appointment with a gorgeous Cartier sales associate to purchase my love bracelet on my 50th birthday next week. It has taken me 3 years to save for and I am beside myself. I have been a bit disappointed by some comments people have made, but I have always lived by the adage “what other people think of me is none of my business”. I’m sticking by it! I hope you are loving your beautiful bracelet
I love this and I love both you and Dale. How you've helped me find confidence in my style and my self you'll both never understand. I used to shy away and now I proudly say 'I come to work so I can buy shoes and I don't care'. Thank you both so much!
Nice video Amelia. I’m glad you added Dayle’s perspective. I enjoyed hearing a little into her background. I personally do not wear luxury to work. It’s the environment (not the people) that does not allow for nice clothing or items. But when I have worn small nice items like jewelry or designer sneakers, I have gotten comments from coworkers. And as you said, always females. Great video topic.
Love the red lip & glossy hair that’s the frivolous! I say bought stuff pre loved to excuse my luxury purchases but work in banking then clean at weekend to give funds bags & luxury buys. I don’t go on big holidays etc, like my small bungalow & money I’ve made in my bags are my part of my pension cushion! Keep up good work. Me(& my dog recognises your voice now!! ) love you!!!❤
When I get those snide comments I ask back yeah, do you have kids? They often times say yes, then I say back, yeah well we all have choices, and you picked some expensive choices didn’t you? I don’t have to feed and put money towards clothes and college tuition to my things. If they don’t have kids I ask them what they spend money on then I hit them there. How snarky I go back on them is matched by how they came for me. You get what you give with me. It might not be your style but it works for me :) live your life without regrets!
So much great advice, going back on what Meredith said about as a boss, she's too busy to care about what others have, if you're not a boss and someone tries to say something about your love of luxury, act like you're too busy to care, that will piss them off more because they want what they say to affect you(the rude ones anyway, some people just have no emotional intelligence and just word vomit)
When I took the job that I have now, after being in an administrative role for almost ten years, I received a lot of negativity around not only the luxury pieces I wear to work, whether it's shoes, bags, or a scarf but just the way I present myself in my work. I've been told I'm an intimidating individual in comparison to my now female boss and female coworkers because of what I know about the job. Because I know who I am as a person, I don't apologize for wearing things I have afforded to invest in and I certainly don't apologize from my brain!
Try being a woman who spent her money on a luxury car, only to have the men tell me it must be my husband’s car, or why did I buy that as you can’t drive it! Or worse they start telling me that it looks like a ladies car. Yep. I have my luxury bags but I have my luxury car too and you can bet that it is mine, I bought it, I know how to drive it, I know what I am driving and it ain’t no “ladies car”. thank you Amelia and Dayle. (And Meredith) You ladies brighten my life. ❤❤❤
I’ve never shied away from wearing luxury in the workplace. But I completely understand there are situations where it may be inappropriate or frowned upon. Bottom line-I love my items and I’m going to wear them proudly!
Dear Amelia! Thank you so much for this very interesting discussion! It really is not appropriate when other people judge us Luxury Lovers when wearing our luxury stuff (handbag, belt, shoes etc). Sometimes, nevertheless I come to a point where I judge myself... I ask myself: do you really need another handbag? Is it really okay, when you spend 5.000 Euro on a handbag and still think of another handbag of the same price or even more. But at the end this is a totally personal decision! I love it that we are all sisters in luxury 🙂
Great topic and exploration! Amal Clooney is an icon of combining serious committed humanitarian work which is also intellectually challenging, with having fun and style. She doesn't let detractors pull her down. Everyone knows she loves a great bag, shoes, jewellery and clothes.
@@ameliarosescloset Thanks Amelia Rose! What I love about Amal, she turned a serial womaniser into a happy husband and she genuinely did not compromise her independent personal values. He changed for her. But she has always been rock solid on human rights and is a ferocious barrister. Getting the most out of life is Amal!
I guess it all depends where you work. I work in a primary school so any kind of designer gear is a no-no. I wouldn't like to have my expensive clothes or bags to be covered in glue, paint or glitter. I made that mistake once :wore Prada shoes to work and the kid stepped on my foot and all the embellish on the shoe came off. 🙄🙈🤣
I definitely feel that as a 3rd grade teacher working in a high poverty hit district. Knowing your audience is important in many areas of life. Nuances in life is key.
@@TheCiamarieagree. I wear luxury items all the time to work but am in a corporate environment in the city. I’m more reserved if going to a regional office. So whilst my attitude is to not give a damn to those who are mean, I do think it is important to act with some sensitivity depending on the environment so as not to cause any upset.
being told they pay me too much because i can afford my lux is my biggest fear!. thankfully no one ever said that to me. however they would say how can you afford it, which i would reply with we all make the same, idk how you can't or i budget like crazy. i will say i let them stop me from wearing my lux at work and i know that's my fault. they all met me as a broke college grad, and i shared getting out of debt with them so i can understand why they would judge me and ask why would i make such frivolous purchases. but i shouldn't have let it stop me. now, i need to be more like dayle, start a conversation with them and help them understand.
I wear what I like… period. No one and I mean no one dictates what I do and what I wear. Including my designer goods! My performance is the only thing I should be judged on. And that is MEASURABLE! People will judge you regardless! It’s human nature. DO NOT MAKE YOURSELF SMALL FOR ANYONE
People judge. It’s inevitable. I’ve def suffered from this many many times over. In my experience it is always women who have judged and feel it’s ok to comment negatively. It’s very sad. I have tended to shy away from it in the past and dimmed my light so that I didn’t rock the boat. I took the easy option. But I want to teach my daughters that we need to stand up and be proud to be ourselves. X
Our society is built on competition. And most people take part in it frivolously by constantly comparing themselves what others have and they themselves don't have. I give no time or energy to competition in my spare time. I'm happy for others when they have something nice, look great, are wealthy, successful and healthy. I only enjoy competition in my free time during sports. BUT at the job competition is unavoidable, it's there no matter how cozy your work environment might seem. We have to realize and accept that. So it makes sense to not extra trigger the competitive spirits of our coworkers and employers or clients. Be aware that your appearance will be judged always and will be used as a reason to target you for competitive reasons if possible.
Loved this video, I’m definitely team women who support women, I have a very close friend who is the opposite and it actually makes me feel uncomfortable! ❤
While it’s good to dance to your own tune, it’s equally good to have the self awareness of knowing when to dance. For me, it’s about being thoughtful of my colleagues, however, we never know what their finances really are. Generally we work amongst our Peers and so it should be easy to judge if luxury will fit in. I can buy luxury due to my husband’s financial position but my position at work is admin. so I choose not to wear luxury in the workplace as it would be crass. Also I wouldn’t use luxury bags or clothing at work because I like to feel different outside of work and I tend to be more careful with them whereas I’ve been more carefree with work things.
Ah, this is such a difficult topic... I am lucky that I work in our own company in a very male dominated field and our collegues and clients are paid fairly. So they do not care if I wear a luxury bag or not. It's sometimes even the opposite the case. E.g. one of my male collegue plays with me a game where he guesses if my bag is luxury or not (he himself is more into cars...). BUT I once worked in a company where most people were underpaid (including myself), especially the female employees. Only a very few earned a lot because of connections,... etc. and when they wore their LVs, Pradas and Co. it felt a bit like a slap into your face... So what I am saying is, yes, generally you should wear what you feel like and women should more support each other, but there are circumstances, where luxury is not the right choice.
This was BRILLIANT! Such a boost for the luxury-loving soul! 🤗 I went truly out of my comfort zone a couple of years ago at work and complimented my boss's boss on her Mulberry. I felt like i was overstepping, but she seemed to respond positively. I still panicked, then played down my bag game, just in case. 🫣 We should ALL feel comfortable in celebrating our 'thing', even at work! 💕
I could care less about what anyone thinks, but I work from home 😅 Meanwhile, I don't spend thousands on luxury bags. I have maybe 5 the rest of my bag collection are inspired versions and contemporary brands. I rather, use my money on other things I can afford Great topic 😊
Talking of sexism. I like nice cars, I’m a complete petrol head and know my stuff. I currently have a stunning Mercedes and already in the 2 months I had it, had 3 people comment on whether it’s my husband’s car or if my husband bought it for me. Felt like telling them to F off!!! No one asks my husband if his wife bought him his car or whether it belongs to me!! Wish they would because he would say “my wife chose it because she knows a hell of a lot more about cars than I do”.
That’s a great example. I’m the opposite. I currently drive a Kia Picanto! But my LV luggage and Hermes bag look fabulous in it! I love cars, but right now I need to be practical…at least in the vehicle space. When I’m ready to upgrade I might hit you up for some tips!
Really late reply. I feel sorry for the people who experience the judgement for wearing luxury items to work. However, I do feel that it’s something you can feel the vibes of for your office. I honestly think now there’s more offices and industries that are a lot more open today. I am glad my office is pretty lax and mostly doesn’t care.
Completely different opinion re attitude of men and women - the only negative comments I have received were from male colleagues who said I need someone to manage my money for me when I bring in a new handbag
I agree, it's not a good idea to wear your birkin to work especially if you work in a conservative office. also, it just attracts the wrong attention. I think it all depends on how your work environment is, you have to read the room.
Hey Amelia, what is your profession? I agree it is the women, men don’t give a crap what luxury items you wear. I also own my business and don’t know how you have time to do RUclips. You need to tell me 😂
I’m wearing my luxury to work!
Only when we ban together we will change the narrative.
Great video
And we so need to change the narrative

All of this! I used to wear my ‘quieter’ items to work. And like you said, I received nasty comments anyway. So now, I don’t care & wear what I want.
Love this, people will always judge
It’s so important we all support each other and shift this dial so we can unapologetically be our best selves!! Much love xx
Love this and love you xx

YESSSSS Amelia!! If a place doesn’t give me a promotion because I wear luxury and look like I don’t need the money? Nah I’m leaving 😂

Thank you for revisiting this. As I said, I'm lucky, I wear luxury and no-one in the hospital realises but they like my looks 😂. But I hope y'all are all empowered !! I don't know Dayle, though you've mentioned her many times before, but now I'm going to look her up!!
She’s fab!
I love your answer to your boss!
Such a great approach Dayle - i they cannot accept what gives you joy it says more about them than you! Unfortunately my luxury handbags are at home during the weekend. You have inspired me to make a change.
Love that!
I really enjoyed the discussion in this video, well done for articulating this topic so well! I totally agree with you both 😊
Yay, thank you!
I absolutely Love Doyle’s attitude towards this, it is so Awesome and I hope to be able to embrace that attitude!
Me too!
WONDERFUL video! LOVE Dayle's outlook and reaffirming nature
Glad you enjoyed it!
This is simply fabulous, I wish I had heard both your and Dale's talk a few decades ago! It's never too late to make a shift, stand tall and own yourself and what you love. Thank you for a truly inspiring video, one I will rewatch.❤
Thank you so much x
Thank you both so much for sharing your experiences and for being vulnerable with us ! A wonderful and thoughtful video 💖
Thank you so much!
Thank you so much!
Take it and flaunt it!
Get the cardholder and i also need to be a bit more dayle!
I really do think this is such a live issue
@@ameliarosescloset I absolutely agree.
Sandra
Love this comment x
I enjoyed this video and both of your opinions. You’re great. 💖👍🏽
Thank you! 🤗
No matter how far we think we’ve come.. it’s still a man’s world.
Great video
It really can be
Mother and I have a deal with our colleagues. If the fire alarm goes off and we’re not there, someone please rescue the bags.
Love this!!
Rosey 😊😊😊😊
You should have replied this VP: "I'm worth every penny and more". That would have shut him up.
Thank you so much!
Bravo!
Thank you!
Brava! What an awesome discussion! Thank you.
Our pleasure!
I’m so sorry this happened to you!
@@ameliarosescloset ♥thank you for your kind respond :)
I agree with Dayle. Own who you are.
Yes!
Love this x
This is awful, i’m so sorry she reacted like this
I love this and I love both you and Dale. How you've helped me find confidence in my style and my self you'll both never understand. I used to shy away and now I proudly say 'I come to work so I can buy shoes and I don't care'. Thank you both so much!
Thank you so much for saying this! X
Thank you so much!
Me(& my dog recognises your voice now!! ) love you!!!❤
Thank you so much!
I always go with.... my grandparents died.. left me money... shuts them right up! 😂
I bet it does!
Lol!
Such a great video! I remember bringing my first LV bag to work and the looks I got, didn’t stop me though, thankfully.
Love that!
Love this!
Looking forward to your special guest video:)
She’s fab!
Everyone needs to stop crying! You’re making me cry! 😢
🤣🤣🤣
Sorry!!
Great advice
People are so rude! Dayle was so inspiring!
I love dayle
When I took the job that I have now, after being in an administrative role for almost ten years, I received a lot of negativity around not only the luxury pieces I wear to work, whether it's shoes, bags, or a scarf but just the way I present myself in my work. I've been told I'm an intimidating individual in comparison to my now female boss and female coworkers because of what I know about the job. Because I know who I am as a person, I don't apologize for wearing things I have afforded to invest in and I certainly don't apologize from my brain!
So sorry this happened to you!
Awh thank you so much and it sucks this happens!
I’ve never shied away from wearing luxury in the workplace. But I completely understand there are situations where it may be inappropriate or frowned upon. Bottom line-I love my items and I’m going to wear them proudly!
We all should feel this way!
And supporting each other!
Great topic and exploration! Amal Clooney is an icon of combining serious committed humanitarian work which is also intellectually challenging, with having fun and style.
She doesn't let detractors pull her down. Everyone knows she loves a great bag, shoes, jewellery and clothes.
Great example!
@@DaylesAddiction Thanks Dayle!
That’s a fab example
@@JoJoLux totally agree with you
Work place definitely has an impact
being told they pay me too much because i can afford my lux is my biggest fear!. thankfully no one ever said that to me. however they would say how can you afford it, which i would reply with we all make the same, idk how you can't or i budget like crazy. i will say i let them stop me from wearing my lux at work and i know that's my fault. they all met me as a broke college grad, and i shared getting out of debt with them so i can understand why they would judge me and ask why would i make such frivolous purchases. but i shouldn't have let it stop me. now, i need to be more like dayle, start a conversation with them and help them understand.
i also need to be more Dayle!
Hi Amelia ! I'm waiting for a podcast with you , Dayle and Meredith 😉
How fun would that be!
I wear quiet luxury to work 🤗 and sometimes I’ll have Chanel earrings in. Damier neverfull is the most used luxury work bag I use.
My neverfull is with me everyday
I wear what I like… period. No one and I mean no one dictates what I do and what I wear. Including my designer goods! My performance is the only thing I should be judged on. And that is MEASURABLE!
People will judge you regardless! It’s human nature. DO NOT MAKE YOURSELF SMALL FOR ANYONE
Love this and i’m working on it!
A wonderful video. Thanks to you, both. :)
Our pleasure!
Thank you for this video!
You are so welcome!
Love your new approach, no more hiding, the tribe won’t allow it!
I think you are right and there will be competitiveness
I work with mostly men, i get what your saying
It’s definitely a thing!
Loved this video, I’m definitely team women who support women, I have a very close friend who is the opposite and it actually makes me feel uncomfortable! ❤
Oh that’s hard when it’s a friend
@@ameliarosescloset I think it’s time insecurity ❤️
I love the way you put that, the self awareness to know when to dance
I agree with this, sometimes i think it will cause problems
Thouroghly enjoyed this video ❤
Thank you!
Please do another collab you are both superstars and amazing!
Awh thank you!
i could not agree more!
I love both you girls, always be you!!! If they hate you be double you, they hate you already anyway!!!
Thank you so much!
I work from home but I wear them everywhere!
I'm making more effort to incorporate mine into every day!
I could care less about what anyone thinks, but I work from home 😅
Meanwhile, I don't spend thousands on luxury bags. I have maybe 5 the rest of my bag collection are inspired versions and contemporary brands.
I rather, use my money on other things I can afford
Great topic 😊
Love this!
Hi Katy! I’m a petrol head too. That is so cool! Congratulations!
That’s a great example. I’m the opposite. I currently drive a Kia Picanto! But my LV luggage and Hermes bag look fabulous in it! I love cars, but right now I need to be practical…at least in the vehicle space. When I’m ready to upgrade I might hit you up for some tips!
I love this!!
No, Dayle, you don't always have a choice.
We do it’s just not always worth it, and that is the hard part. In some cases it’s not worth it, that’s a shame.
I think some people don’t really have a choice, maybe in an ideal world, sometimes circumstances are such that it is an impossible situation
yes people will always judge my mom will not let my LV men bags to school she get taking as i am disabled person
People will always judge
Really late reply.
I feel sorry for the people who experience the judgement for wearing luxury items to work.
However, I do feel that it’s something you can feel the vibes of for your office. I honestly think now there’s more offices and industries that are a lot more open today.
I am glad my office is pretty lax and mostly doesn’t care.
I wish this was non existent
Im a Pharma rep so no bueno to wear luxury into doctors offices As per meetings depends on the company and if other employees wear them
I think it will differ depending on the setting
I think it will differ depending on setting

Finding the dog to talk to 🙋🏻♀️
Always me!
Completely different opinion re attitude of men and women - the only negative comments I have received were from male colleagues who said I need someone to manage my money for me when I bring in a new handbag
Awh i hate this comment they gave you!
I agree, it's not a good idea to wear your birkin to work especially if you work in a conservative office. also, it just attracts the wrong attention. I think it all depends on how your work environment is, you have to read the room.
Exactly, everyone’s work environment will be different
Hey Amelia, what is your profession?
I agree it is the women, men don’t give a crap what luxury items you wear. I also own my business and don’t know how you have time to do RUclips. You need to tell me 😂
Professional services and yes finding the time can be tough!! It’s an escape for me though for the heaviness of business
