    Noble Eightfold Path:
    1) Right View (with kindness)
    2) Right Thought / Intention (Right Motivation - listen to your heart)
    3) Right Speech
    4) Right Action
    5) Right Livelihood
    6) Right Effort / Strive (Right Endeavor - lower your expectations, don't put too much expectation)
    7) Right Mindfulness (Right Awareness - let go more and don't struggle)
    8) Right Concentration (Right Stillness - caused by letting go)

    I’ve been a Buddhist for the last few years if my life but only recently have I begun to give it the proper dedication. I am by no means the most educated or strict Buddhist, nor am I even close to the path of monkhood, but I must say listening to this venerable has been one of, if not the most informative, enlightening, and powerful experiences I have felt not just as a Buddhist but as a man. I feel now more equipped to handle the negative thoughts that pop into my head, I am able now to see my two bricks, love them, and love all my other bricks. Thank you for uploading this, and I hope all who may read this comment and all who may not, know nothing in their lives but joy, peace, and enlightenment.

      Further.
      It seems somewhere along the way even he forgets ajahn brahm is speaking. Catching that there is a slight image to keep. "Ajahn Brahm"
      Oops. I don't want to get so loose I lose "myself"
      (This is being recorded)
      Just incase "you" are thinking
      "I've found it. I just need ajahn brahm." He does a good job of avoiding that trap.
      I will admit. His framing of "it"
      Is refreshing to me.
      His stories are like seed planted in the mind.

      Thinking about pushing the wheel burrow is the hard part"

    I have received so much understanding over time. After perusing the comments, I notice some slanderous comments and so I further understood which is... slanderous remarks is what that person has to teach to the world; kind, beneficial remarks is what that person has to teach to the world. Remembering the poem mentioned, 'They drew a circle in which to shut me out, but love and wisdom had the wit to win. I drew a bigger circle which included them in.' Everyone teaches us what to emulate and what not to.

What a pity for someone who has a chance to listen to Ajahn Brahm's wise advices and guidances, chose to push aside the good teachings and rather continue to live in his own delusions and assumptions. If you are not happy with your life and situations, then you should put aside your perception about others and listen more to Ajahn Brahm's talks. He is your saviour!!

    You actually think that you made a mistake when you saved someone's life.At the time that you chanted for his life you were in fact connected to your buddanature and that is most likely why he was saved but after the fact the devilish functions told you it was a mistake and you took the devils bait.Nothing is more precious and more valuable than human life.All the people's inconveniences to get there is a small small small thing in the sceme of things. Maybe they lost a few days of work and money and they had stress but the fact that a life was saved is a million times more important.Im not a Buddhist schools like you But Ibtemember reading something in lotus sutra that even a single day in life is worth more than all the jewels in the world.Thats not the quote.I am just saying it in my own words.I have to look up the exact words.Maybe you should look it up.And the whole idea of compassion is putting yourself in others shoes.What if it was you dying would you not be glad that you got more time on earth and if you say no to this question than I think you are not really being honest with yourself.The devil function really took over your mind when you thought it was a mistake.You are right maybe you should not go to help people in hospitals because you still need to purify your mind before you do these things.A mind that is connected to its buddanaturenwould never see that in after fact that it was a mistake.And all those people who came even though he didn't die actually did a marvellous thing.They sacrificed money and time for someone they lived.It was a very compassionate act.And maybe all those people didn't think like you.Maybe they didn't care that they were inconvienced.I know if I loved someone and thought that I was going to the person's funeral and it turned out they dont die I would never give my inconvience a second thought.The fact that they lived and the joy in that would be the only thing in my mind.It is so so arrogant of you to help someone and even brag about doing so.Yes that is another thing you need to look at because people who's deep compassion can save another do not tell others about what they do.To say this is what Undid but should have shows me that you are not as pure as you think you are.It is true everyone makes mistakes and I am not perfect and neither are you.And I am writing to point out what I believe is a very important imperfection in you.I learned something very important by this video.I learned that it is best for me to listen to my own heart directly and not rely on monks.

    This guy Wolf Slayer first think Buddhist is a religion that is his first mistake. Next to come on to a site trolling to argue with people who actually don't care about his opinion is the next. What a joke and so sad to come on hear to troll for that. Then try to show that you have more knowledge then others. I got to tell you that it shows who the fool really is. Do we care if he fly's first class? No. Do we care what your opinion is? No. Trust me we will listen, look at the comments and laugh. Go about our day because you are irrelevant. I can tell you what we do think. You are in a sad state and you should listen rather than talk. You might actually learn something about yourself. As the saying goes misery loves company. This is the company you need but subtract the negativity. Always remember as you go about your day. Nobody really cares about your opinion, they might listen to be polite but it really is irrelevant.

    • @anxietymusic7164
      @anxietymusic7164 6 лет назад

      Again it's an opinion that there is a creator of all things. Some would say it's evolution. Why do you care about what someone else's tax status is? What does it have to do with you? Unless you are one that lives off others taxes, but then that is another discussion. Nobody here wen't looking for you with some agenda to tell you how they feel. What makes you think they care what you say? Just food for thought for the next time you go trolling. Ask yourself do they care how I feel? I willing to bet the answer is no.

    • @anxietymusic7164
      @anxietymusic7164 6 лет назад +1

      LMAO!!! Not embarrassed just feel sorry for you and how contradictory you are. You don't believe in religion but you believe in a creator? Venerable Ajahn Braham
    When you talk about it is abortion; it is offensive to say it is okay to have an abortion because the soul in the fetus can find another fetus so don't worry about it don't feel guilty, because you set a bad precedence, where every woman who has an abortion doesn't feel guilty, it's normal and do it over and over again. Venerable Ajahn Braham, it is better to be silent on the subject rather make comments for it or against it.
