I like how Chris G shows how a combo can be practical/useful, like how some of the Shirai Ryu combos can be started as a punish to a fireball or the Ronin ones can be finished with a laser-blade-placement setup for oki.

I've sorta kinda not really narrowed it down :d. It's looking like either Scorpion, Sub-zero, Tremor, Takeda or Kenshi. I don't even have the game yet though
Seeing the combo ending on a throw makes me imagine that you can end that combo with a Brutality, it would be sick! Ultra combo :P
The overhead/low set up with meter burn kunai is sick
TAKEDA is a great character he's got some great kombos
The only way they could have made Takeda even more awesome would have been if he screamed "GET OVER HERE!" when using his whips to catch the opponent...

An easy 50% Shirai Ryu combo that is done near the sides of the screen is
JF, 2, 4, 4, BF+2 (EX), B+2, 1, TP, 3, 3, BF+1 (EX), B+2, 1, BF+1
Key: 1=X (Xbox) Square (PS)
2=Y (Xbox) Triangle (PS)
3=A (Xbox) X (PS)
4=B (Xbox) Circle (PS)
JF=Jumping Forward
BF= Back Forward
TP= Teleport
+Evan Dzeko if not in corner last B+2, 1, (BF+1) will not reach the target with latest patches, so I do B+2, BF+1 it gives 49% damage with 100% hit chance ;)

BigHern58 theres an easy no meter 32% Johnny combo. With meter he breaks 40 percent on just one.>
Cecil Pourner takeda breaks 50% with 1 meter....and some combos without meter...which is insane
Oh I know. But it's also more input heavy than others. Johnny is just juggles. His is special moves with three different combos.

The only time I can ever remotely come close to doing these combos are when my fingers are doing all the moving but as soon as I start thinking about what to do mentally, I just screw everything up leading me to getting my ass handed to me trying to do one chain pulls lol.

Hopefully some of yall reply. But idk if my problem is my dpad l. When I do some of these come bad it's hard for me to be precise without pressing the diagnal combo. And it's extremely hard to do.thos one due to the delay. I can do a 39%dmg combo offline but line I have to press the button combos like 3 seconds before. Any tips? I want to play tourneys but most times my Takeda won't do the combos. It's because I have to hit setting buttons at certain points?

They nerfed the last Ronin kombo in the corner, now when you do it, you get 7 hits, 29% damage.
aghhhh! benn practicing daily now for awhile and i see little improvement i can get decent combos like 27-30% but after no and no way i can pull of the higher damage ones, any tips guys? right now im using erron black, ermac, shinnok.
Not a bad vid. The damage output is not bad...usually averaging at around 3 dmg per hit. Some of the longer ones scaled out to about 2-2.5% per. His 8 for 40, and 7 for 36 were the highest average damage per hit. The Freeze punish was very nice too.
Takeda for sure will be rockin the tourney scene. The question is iwhcih character wins the first major tourney.
I know. For a lot of the cast, it's basically 3 characters with how different they play and the mindset needed when fighting them. You're right though...I should have said which character and variation.
My money will be on Kotal Kahn...

My money's on a Scorpion, Takeda or Liu Kang player taking it with a dark horse Ermac player.
Kitana is looking pretty nice too. She has a lot of different punishes, good damage output, is fast and can fight from all distances.
SmaugUKA Someone that masters Kitana could definitely be deadly. I want to see some tourney's already. See all the big players unlock the potential out of all these fighters. And than make me sad when i remember i can't do anything remotely close lol.

Gootecks I have a question regarding Cross counter training services. Do your coaches only coach street fighter or can I request training for a different game like UMVC3?

Highest combo I got with takeda is 53%. But it uses all 3 bars of meter so damn near impossible to pull off online 😂
In my mind I am usually pressing circle triangle square in precious order. But in reality I am going XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX mashing square key.

I LOVE Takeda's fighting style, but I'm not big on his attitude, lol. I mean I suppose he's "suppose" to be that kind of character but wow. It's just my opinion. At least he isn't like another Patroklos (from SCV)... who's worse.

Eli Smith keep in mind, ronin has setups after a knockdown that the other variations do not. the damage seen in combo here doesn't necessarily reflect how much they will actually get out of a good followup.
He kinda tries to touch on that with the subzero slides
i noticed that, he did good with the showcase of that tech. i honestly have a feeling that Ronin might be the best at maintaining pressure out of all 3. the lasher variation will have the biggest confirms and shirai ryu will have the best control over positioning.
ThatOneGamerPerson i think ronin is the best one. actually offers more low block strings , range , knockdown mixups , resets. character is not shit man thats for sure

DLeeGriff His X-Ray is the only one, that must be performed in the air. I don't think, there's anything, that can be comboed into it (maybe a random u+2, that everyone has, but that's it).
