if you ever do leave for a vacation, please don't board your pup. she will be stressed and probably get sick. not to mention she will not get the proper attention she needs. it will be much better if you can find a dogsitter who stays at your house, that way gracie will still keep her routine and only worry about missing you as opposed to worrying about kennel drama on top of missing you. sorry for getting preachy but I am a private dogsitter and have not heard anything good about kennels. just something to think about :]
Bluestardrummer naaah most of them are good and they get 24h attention with socialisations. To get a dogsitter you need them to come to your house and it can be unsafe.
